Nurk, thank you very much for the great experience, absolute pleasure to fly and capture this, totally new perspective from air to air,
Amazing skill set and experience by your flying,
Looking forward to other vids together,
Thank you 🙏
You're absolutely crushing it out there! Your skills are second to none, and it was a dream being your wingman for the short time that we had together!
Awesome flying Koko!
Man this rc plane is fast and skills 💯💯🔥🔥
Thank you guys 🙏
@@kokotorossian3423 Awesome flying, man!! And that plane, wow!!! Great vid as always...
Being a former F-16 avionics technician, this beautiful aircraft holds a special place in my heart, and so this video truly hit a homerun for me ! Well Done @Nurk FPV!
Ey! So stoked to hear that.
watching her kick the tail out maxG on that loop and seeing the airbrakes deploy I had to remind myself it was a model!
@@voided76 Yeah, I was stoked about the airbrakes too 😊
Thank you very much, makes me happy you enjoyed
I was a jet engine mechanic on them so I know exactly the feelings you have! I’ve wanted something like this since before the turbine models were available and would love to fly one one day!!
As a 77 yr old who had fun with RCs 60 years ago, but hasnt touched one since 50 years ago, I am speechless, astounded, grinning ear to ear...all of that ! Superb camera and flight control. Thank for making my day just a whole lot brighter.
go drop 500$ on a dji and it's like you always wanted when you were a kid!
it was for me anyway but I'm 43 lol
Who agrees that the drone and the drone guy stole the show? Great skills
Nice Nurk! @4:15 Koko have never seen his jet "in flight" from the other side! I like!
I think that's exactly right
Absolutely thank you
Piloting skills on God Mode. INSANE. Bravo!
as a dutchie I love that it's painted in the Dutch air force colors. Amazing flying by both of you
When I first posted a clip of this to instagram I didn't know that it was painted dutch, and a lot of guys came out to say it.
I must say though.. I kinda figured a Dutch F16 would be bright orange...
@@NURKFPV I didn't know it was Dutch either. Dutch I seen were solid dark grey starting at wings.. but there r usually numerous paint schemes
@@NURKFPV that particular paintscheme was made in the 2001 and 2002 (demo) seasons, from 2009 on they actually used bright orange with an lighter orange lion (orange as the national color, and the lion as in our crest) on it and the plane had with a black nose. the F16 was a demo team plane (F-16 Solo Display Team )
sad side note.. the F16 demo team seized to exist from jan. 2019
@@DutchCommando ceased. :(
Ja leuk👍🏻🇳🇱🇳🇱
My favorite scheme for F16 !
The drone pilot has some serious skills to follow a Jet. As a Jet pilot I would not let a drone follow me ! KUDOS TO BOTH PILOTS!
I love the moment when they're all looking at the GoPro and Nurk can hardly contain how happy he is with the backwards/underneath shot and they all have no idea how hard that was, sick shots!
I was genuinely stumped on how he did that, but once I found out my mind was blown. Pure skill.
Yeah, he was flying backwards getting a perfect shot. That's nothing but skill.
@@madfictionfpv8246 I was scratching my head on that one too. Is he able to actually reverse the motors and fly "backwards"? If so, that was seamless.
That's a freaking awesome jet. It says something about how fast it is when they have to fly it with the brakes deployed and flaps down for a race drone to keep up with it.
Good flying for both pilots, thanks for sharing.
I told him the slower the better cause then it's easier to get nice and close for these crazy shots.
Man, I just about fell out of my chair when you flew under the jet and looked up at the underside as it flew above. No idea HOW you pulled it off but that was masterful!
I backed up like 4 times to watch that
Yeah that was really cool guys pretty good with that thing.
So cool how you can see the engine burn at 3:55
I'm pretty sure those are LED lights.
Those were lights to have the appearance of afterburner
@@andrewschmidt434 The Jet uses real gas so it's not electric
@Ernesto Leon I know, but its not really visible on a real jet, and sometimes people install LEDs, because theirs already a battery on board for the electronics.
@@andrewschmidt434 Yes you are correct and if you look closely you will see that the only reason we could see it was because the drone was at a perfect angle, the burning ring was very inside of the turbine
We all knew you were a great pilot Paul, but this really shows your natural talent and eye for the shot! That pirouette footage was Epic!
To keep that kind of speed up and transition into backwards flight while keeping a focal point spot on is truly Amazing! You forgot about the ground and focused on what you wanted to show! That is a Cinematography Professional.
Put this man to work!
I agree this is world breaking stuff.
Talk about it, I thought it was a movie like Top Gun or something😆😆😆
These guys are awesome, so beautiful that was you see this, you can't help it but fall in love!
The most amazing display I have ever seen. I love watching RC vid's but I have never been able to watch flying like this. This is video of the future!
Love the humbleness and respect for each other in RC community in general.
Yeah it's deff a big a family..and if you really love rc you have different types and style of rc
Only for experienced drone pilots! Very nice shots of the jet that had to keep low speed which made it somewhat unstable and challenging for the jet pilot too. Both did a great job, never seen such a footage on TH-cam! Congratulation to both airmen.
Koko is an absolute stud!
Thank you, Nurks skills are out of this world
Nice!!!! A FPV drone is fast enough to chase the most things, but a jet engine powered plane is an other category :-D. Well done!
it was so crazy fast.
Shit I fly drones and rc planes mostly edf jets and real jets can get stupid fast. Fastest one I've seen went like 450mph on a custom body.
@@kaw1240 I just watched a video on the weekend and they had a jet doing around 400 mph just get into the top of a chain link fence, very lightly, but everything grabbed. The jet was destroyed and so was about 16 ft or so of chain link fence!!! Glad no one was hurt as it was just across the runway. Definitely looked to be a very safe area though.
Speed is amazing,,,,,,,,.
The guy koko was cool as hell. Great video.
Thank you 🙏
That is easily some of if not the best air to air footage I've seen, the only one I can think that compares is Steele's flight with that 1/4 scale bipe.
Freaking awesome !! the drone pilot is amazing, and the jet pilot is insanely amazing to flies the jet under speed, more than $10,000 flying monster...
Thank you
NURK, you need to do more videos like these! These are so fascinating
That's the plan!
Hey Nurk I have been flying RC Airplanes since 1971 and I have flown so many different types of planes but when it comes to these beautiful Jets I had to say no. She is a very beautiful jet, Thanks for the video.
The. jet is amazing, the flying was amazing but seeing the smile on his face when he saw his bird up close in flight from your footage was priceless. That’s what it’s all about right there.
Looked more like a horror/amazement mixed together. He came like inches away from hitting the plane. 😅 besides that the shots as a result are legendary, but could of gone south 💀💀💀💀
@@MobileAura yeah, with 15k in the air I bet he was unsettled after seeing how close that kwad got. Lol. Still, amazing shots
I used to fly rc planes with my dad 30 years ago. Amazing how much has changed in the rc world. Drones are cool but an 80lbs rc jet powered F16 is mind blowing to me. Very cool!
Thanks Nurk for this extraordinary video of cross genres. It was so great to see amongst all those voices and bravado two pilots playing like jazz musicians in the sky. Can’t wait for the next gig.
😍😍 we definitely want to get out there and do it again!!
6:14 This is why I like Plane guys, they are so communal and into it. My veiw as a beginner, I kind of feel goggles can make your experience utterly Personal but also maybe a tad self indulgent somtimes.
THAT took talented flying on the part of BOTH flyers...amazing footage.
That was AMAZING guys !!!! Wow... Love that F-16... !!!! I don't understand how either of you didn't have a heart attach a couple times. Both of you have amazing piloting skills and most important and amazing awareness of your birds ! Especially flying that drone around that F-16 .... I mean seriously... you must have been within an inch of that jet... man, you must think and feel as if that drone is a 5 finger on both your hands you handle it so well. Great Great video....!!! Thanks guys !
I would like to point out all of the craters where other jets have crashed, RIP.
:(
Keep watching the craters, my eyes are on the ball
I was wondering what made those!👍

@@mrkemblegilstrap rc meteorites. Maybe
Super nice vid Bro. At one point I was able to see the flame in the turbine, no silly ring lights. At 3:57
I never ever comment on videos but this is easily the most beautiful video I've ever seen on TH-cam. The music mixed with the footage made me well up. You're both amazing pilots and it's so nice to see fixed wing and fpv together
Stoked that you came in to comment together! Makes me really happy!
Amazing footage for me. Kudos to both pilots. I mean...wonderful, and I feel privileged to have watched it, not being over the top - but honest. I loved it.
When did Shia LaBeouf start flying jets!
He deffo looks like him,and the other guy is jack osbourne
That Shia wuss would have an anxiety attack
Is the jet fuselage ceramic around the turbine?
Party coated with ceramic and aluminum
Best chase pilot in the world! Wouldn't be surprised to see Nurk's name in the credits of a movie. ☺
Feel like Nurk's a human insta360. Amazing pilotiing!
It will be soon. ;-)
@@NURKFPV Congrats! Can't wait to see it! The additions of fpv to film are limitless at this point! Pioneer of fpv cinematography. ☺
I've seen a lot of footage over the years and this is definitely the most impressive regarding the difficulty to get it, well done, awesome effort
Great video Nurk. So cool to see all the RC guys so into it. Our RC field around here is pretty awful frankly if you walk up with a quad, maybe a bad past event or something. If you show up with a fixed wing it is very welcoming. Seeing wing and quad folks have a great time like this is exactly what our hobby needs to survive.
The end when you got really locked in was so epic!
I hear you. When we got started, they were a little unsure of having the drone there, but as soon as they saw what koko and I were doing together they were all about it.
Faith in humanity. For a couple of apparent strangers, there’s an unusual amount of mutual trust here. Thankfully the insane skill of the drone pilot produced & cooperation of the f16 created monumental footage
That was so awesome man, you're content is killing it. That's the first RC jets chase I've seen with a quad. It really showed off your skills and the RC jets pilot's skills. Only very good pilots could pull that off. But you definitely scared me a few times. Ha. Best part was when he popped the air brakes and put the landing gear down. Great stuff man, keep it up.
He's insanely good and we knew we could communicate and work together we'll.
@@NURKFPV That's definitely the key to chasing, good communication between both pilots is a must. Ya'll did awesome, can't wait to see your next session. You're definitely the best chase pilot in the hobby.
Thank you
INCREDIBLE drone flying ... but man at 4:06 I thought "Oh GAWD, don't bring down that jet that probably cost more than my car"! lol! BIG thumbs up!
Honestly, this could be something revolutionary for the film industry. Imagine a war themed movie with a mock up miniature scale town that's in ruins from warfare and getting these drone shots like leading right up to 2:34 could really do a lot more then CGI imo, it captures the realness more than what CGI can replicate.
Yep! The old propeller VS. jet race... Fantastic footage, thank you!
Badass Nurk and Koko!
Sweet lookin kit plane. Loved the shot as he deployed the air brakes on it. And as a Dutchy I gotta love the livery off course.
But nice under the belly passes Bullbu @ 3:30 / 4:16 those were some sweet lookin shots!
Very cool... Beautiful F16... Great bunch of guys..Great skills shown by you both 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
such a cool perspective. good flying both of you!!
More to come!
Thank you so much🙏
Really challenging, you guys got the right talent to make things work the way you exhibit here. Thank you very much for this video that entertains me for a few minutes.
Super Cool!! I worked on F16's in the Air Force and fell in love with the Aircraft. To see the drone footage of this large scale RC is really really cool. Can't wait to see more! Would love to see a shot straight up the engine. Great Teamwork Guys!!!
Now this is some of the best chase quad footage I have ever seen..that jet is epic! love the air brakes and the turbine burning just looked amazing!! loved it man great job!!
it is a replica of the J-016 from Volkel AFB in the Netherlands! The folks from that squadron would be proud to see this! Awesome guys!!
Thanks so much for giving us all a chance to soar! Beautiful!!!
I can't imagine the joy of flying an RC F-16 that big and that fast. I'd want to fly it with a head tracking FPV camera mounted in it and goggles. Beautiful video. Awesome flying.
That was truly amazing. The combined advancements of cameras, multi axis stabilized gimbals, quad copter mavoeuverability, battery technology.... this video is amazing!! Well done.
I'm just losing my ming over what I just watched. Prolly can't sleep for a day or 2 easy. Soo cooooool. Insane flying by both of you guys.

Incredible video, incredible shots, incredible drone pilot...!!!!!!!
You're the very best acrobatic drone driver ever.
Congrats!!!!
Beautiful job. I've flown formation (full size) and that was some extremely impressive work.
Une vraie merveille et un talent incomparable! Magnifique prestation!🎉👍
3:25 is where everyone should be looking, i see the video activity is highest on landing but that under circling is way better
That is one of the most interesting videos I've seen in quite a while - some really fantastic, amazing footage. Thanks!
Nurk,
That was a fancy bit of photography! I'm going to watch this at least one more time, The F-16 Falcon is one of my favorite jets, along with the F-22 Raptor, and the F-35 Lightning II, The way you filmed that flight was, in my opinion professional. Thanks for sharing this clip with all of us, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also left a thumbs up.
Dude! You are so good at pointing your cam and getting that shot! Continuously! Amazing.
Cheers man!
Hats off to both pilots!! Amazing job
Wow what a cool idea & video, thanks for sharing & I'm looking forward to future videos with you two. Pretty epic flying ~ Congrats to you both, looked like an awesome day.
If we really set up a day of flying and didn't just do it impromptu I'm sure we can get some even more amazing stuff
People appreciate what you doing is the Best.
Very cool. I’m just getting started in the FPV drone flying so I definitely have an appreciation for the skill it takes to do what you guys did there. Talking about being able fly slower with a headwind - it’s true you can fly slower relative to the ground and spectators but you will still have to fly the same airspeeds and will have the same challenges with keeping up with the faster turbine RC through the air. I’d love to see an FPV-style camera in the RC cockpit. What a cool perspective that would be. Thanks guys!
I'm so happy I got into this hobby those shots are just WOW!!!!!
Cheers man!
Bunch of good people enjoying an amazing hobby together. Love it.
Bravo! Two very skilled pilots!
That RC jet is amazing, but your footage is epic. Thank you so much!
Very nice flying very nice video. Thank you for sharing this experience.
your flying skills following this jet are amazing . thank you for sharing
It truly impressive to be flying in acro and going back words I’m new and have a tiny whoop but wow props that was pretty epic
Made my day
Awesome. that was fun . Great views. Thanks.
wow ...... this guy is true ace once he realize your quad he said ok wanna get closer look? full flaps engage air brake this jet is amazing
This method of shooting will definitely be used by cinema! Best aero/space fights in movies are usually made with scale models. And now they can fly catching real natural sunlight
That is a trip! He literally had to put on the brakes to slow it down enough! Sweet video! Excellent subject tracking! I loved how you got underneath!
And here I was thinking fpv drones are faster than everything and can chase a 300mph car at top speed
@@cinialvespow1054 most fpv drones top speed is no more than 100mph. It is just that it gets to its top speed very fast.
VS a Dynamic Soaring Sailplane...... Beautiful F-16..... Awesome flying...
Some of the shots are absolutely amazing. Outstanding job, Nurk. Outstanding.
It's nice how he put the airbrakes out at 2:45 to allow you to follow him at almost stall-speed. You should have brought a faster quad to the field!
Per the plan!
@@NURKFPV .... is there such a thing as a faster drone than what you were flying? I know this video is a year old (now Jan 2023). Another commenter said a drone with turbines. Is there such an animal? Very impressive flying by you both. My hats off to you. I'm just curious where did FPV come from? I fly a 737 and we have what's called a Flight Path Vector to tell the difference between the nose and the actual flight path. Is that the correlation?
@@NURKFPV.... P.S. Have you considered becoming a pilot someday? We're hunting for a bunch in the next few years.
@@kennethmarinelli4277 I have not considered becoming a pilot.. I can fly well for about 5 minutes. More than that I might get a touch bored :P
@@NURKFPV ... well 5 minutes is about all we really fly considering these $100,000,000.00 aircraft fly themselves... NOT !!! ... lol. You do have to constantly monitor them.
But the general public thinks we can someday have airplanes that fly themselves with passengers in them. Good luck with that idea.
That was awesome! really smart and great skill flying I enjoyed that a lot! Thank you.
Both, the controller of the RC and drone are amazing.
Wow! Especially the shot at 4.17 minutes from the underside is ridiculous! Epic flight!
Absolutely awesome formation flying! Love the cross under belly shots. So smooth!

What a great video. The F-16 and F-18 are my two favorite jets of all time. I’m also a camera operator (Steadicam specifically) and I can also appreciate a great drone video. I especially loved seeing the quick glimpse of fire inside the turbine from the rear. Makes me want to pull out my old planes and fly again.
