It's finally time to put this great film out on my personal channel. Enjoy!
Thanks
Now I know what I'm doing tonight! Awesome!
This is good!! thanks to share on youtube
very cool, thanks JB
Thanks JB
After leaving the Navy, selling my racecar, losing my childhood dog, I found FPV Drone Freestyle thanks to Mr Steele. Spent the next few weeks watching JB's videos, then next few months building and getting my part 107, now over a year later I'm getting actual interest and work from people for my flying and I couldn't be more grateful for the community for introducing me to such a life-changing experience.
I'm now a hyper-agile bird that can chase other birds, drift cars, and anything under the golden sun. Happiest moments of my life now. Thank you FPV, and thank you Josh Bardwell and company for all the help! I just want to share the love and wonder of flying now with people, love seeing reactions and faces ^_^
Thank u for your service. Fpv is life changing ain't it? I'm working towards that 107 trying to soak up everything I can!
What is Part 107?
@@oliverbreckner7134 The FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) is required to be a commercial drone pilot for small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) (less than 55 pounds).
@@oliverbreckner7134 its the license you get to fly fpv for a profit
welcome to the club ;)
I feel high watching this and I have ZERO drugs in my system........ FPV is amazing..... I've only flown for like 2 minutes and was instantly addicted....... still troubleshooting and working on my 5" to get it back running. SO MUCH SUPPORT in this community!!!!!!! I LOVE IT. JOSHUA BARDWELL IS THE KING OF FPV/DRONES!!!!! MAD RESPECT AND HUGE PROPS TO THIS MAN!
71 year old here. Been flying simulator for about 5 years. What a blast it's been. So much fun. This video brought tears to my eyes! So great to be living in this time in a country that for the moment is free and allows it. Outstanding job putting this film together. My journey in this sport and hobby continues. This film motivates and excites my senses. Thanks so much. Greatly Appreciated!!
Go out and fly for real age is no limit , live every moment of your life - i wish my comment inspire you more and get u up there in real . Reply me if you really did as i said ❤
I appreciate the money and time Joshua Bardwell put into this
U know guys, im from Ukraine and we have a war here for 2 years, and when i watched this video i was with u, like i was here, and this gived me felling of smth warm, soft....u cannot even imagine how gray world around u can be....thank 4 this!
Like most of the people in the video,I’ve been flying R/C for over 3 decades. I just recently acquired a beginner FPV Drone. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool as hell. The blazing fast fly bys and aerobatics are super cool. I was threading the needle at full power within a few hours but I have yet to pinch a hole in a seat, get chills, goose bumps or adrenaline cascade from flying one. Simple reason is there no effects of the G’s the drone is experienceing. There’s no threat of death or injury. It’s too much like a high resolution flight simulator. Don’t get me wrong . I understand the feeling of disconnecting imaging yourself flying. I get it. I just think it’s a bit hilarious to see a hobby slowly turn into a fetish that’s talked about like a religion. You guys get great footage that’s super fun to watch. Thanks for all your time and hard work that’s put into producing these great videos.
51 year old from little island of Malta. While not an expert pilot , I'm one of those that are in the air thanks to JB .I owe it all to you.
Hi Josh, when I go out flying, I get the sense of being on the edge, and my hands shake, every single time when I go out flying.
I literally “wouldn’t be in the air if it weren’t for Bardwell’s videos!” FACTS.
Thank you Josh for helping ALWAYS 🤝
Great documentary guys
that was beautiful.
as a blackout, flamewheel, K5 veteran, this was really awesome.
The documentary every fpv pilot wants…❤️
I wouldn’t be in the air if it weren’t for Bardwells Videos.
Cracking film and interesting to see what folks backgrounds are.
A wonderful film about the best hobby in the world.
We never give up. FPV is not a crime. Love to all people.❤
Nothing beats the rush of nearly losing a drone, or actually losing one. Unique mixed feelings.
Joshua, thank you bro! A lot of us wouldn’t be here without you. This is hitting me in the feels with all the old clips of everyone. Let’s not forget metal Danny flying through the woods.. that was the moment I was like yup that’s it. Charpu,Steele,Tommy, Chad and Chad, you guys are owed so much more credit for this hobby as well
Thank you Joshua Bardwell for allowing us to have this! ❤❤
Glad i got a part in it. Brought back good memories of how much love i have for this sport
FPV really came a long way , and you was a huge part of it Joshua. Grateful to have you . ❤
Thanks to all the guys here Mr Bardwell, Mr Steel, Charpu, Le Drib, Ummagawd and all the other pilots for bringing this beautiful hobby to us, and not Forgetting Trappy thanks again.
This production must be on Netflix or Prime. Everybody must see that FPV is not a crime. FPV is a style of life. A culture.
It's already on Prime since about 2022.
@@JoshuaBardwell unfortunately not here in Italy
NEVER even seen a FPV drone in my life. But seen most of the videos from this film over the past 8 ish years. Hope one day to try out FPV but don't know I can with my eye sight. Thanks for sharing. Love this. God Bless.
I dont have the money or time (or passion) to pursue this activity by im seriously grateful to have seen this video and to experience the exciting humanity of it. I loved Blacksheep back in the day and its wonderful to see how fpv continued to grow.
You and all the other producers of this film deserve a victory lap. It’s becoming definitive cannon for fpv, it’s one of the first things I tell people to watch to get into the craft.
Had the pleasure of seeing this a couple years back at Dronefest UK - so happy I can now share it with all the civilians in my life to help them understand what we do and why we do it! Love you Joshua Bardwell.
Man! At the end, the "Flowstate" part brings tears to my eyes... i can TOTALLY relate ❤💕
Awesome documentary ! You all guys are the motivational engine of the FPV community. We are all friends and love the same things, we can all understand each other, we love to fly in this way and use the great technology to do it. We like to built, improve and explore more and we want to have a space in the society and be recognize because FPV is not a crime.
Take my hat off to every legend in this film, and everyone that possitively contributes to the FPV community - all legends, all progressing the hobby.
Thank you.
Wow I had no idea this film was done so proffessionally. Thank you very much. Anyone that sees this and does not fall in love with FPV is not a normal human being.
such a great documentary, really captures the essence of FPV
dang its emotional...i got almost 10 years older since i started to fly. MISSING in this movie is JUZ70, BLACKOUT THE DRUNK, the FRENCH FOREST RACERS and charpus drone god thing in Vice or Wire
This beautifully made film should be on the national mainstream media outlets everywhere in the world. It might just do something to change the public perception of 'those damn drones'.
Thanks for posting Joshua. Makes me really miss the early days of the hobby, It really was a special time.
I started FPV in around 2012, building my own flight controllers etc. After some years, me and a couple of buddies founded the first fpv club in my home town and it grew quite a lot. In 2018 I lost three family members in a time where I was flying all the time. Got knocked down pretty hard and havent flown since then. This documentary really got my fingers itching for some freestyle again but there's been so many things that has changed in the last 5-6 years I guess I would have to start with your channel again =)
For a guy from NZ, seeing this makes me greatful for what we have here. This remote ID thing is crazy! Love this doco! amazing video! love it! Love FPV!
You guys are amazing in describing the sensations when you put on FPV goggles and the consciousness, or perception moves from the physical body to the quadrocopter and you feel a freedom beyond the reach of ordinary life! I am happy that I found this hobby for me! Respect to you very much!
Shout out to the OGs of the hobby! It's so good to see Skitzo on, I don't personally know him, but I hope he's doing well. Props for digging up these hermits! That crew was iconic. I started to lose my taste for it when it became about cewebrity status, I miss when it was more technical and small time... I feel like in the beginning I had more in common with the ppl that would occasionally show up at my spots, then like over night there were always people there and with it, I just couldn't jive any more. it's weird.
Thank you! You are legends for me. Started my fpv journey back in 2016. Best greats from Sweden.
Super proud of everyone specially you Bardwell you inspired me and a ton of people to start this amazing hobby
All I say is thank youu ❤
I watched this with my son when it came out on dvd. He’s been flying with me ever since. ❤❤❤
Joshua, I sincerely appreciate your love for the hobby. I've learned so much from you. What really got me into FPV was the warpquad, and it carried on through to you and Stew from UAVFutures!!!
Thanks for this amazing contribution to our hobby and our community. Now when I try to explain FPV to someone, and they get that blank stare, I can link to this video 😉
This shows more history than a "Formula 1 -drone" can ever write. Thanks for sharing this, when I started watching I couldn't stop. Thanks all of you involved, without you I wouldn't be able to enjoy this BEST HOBBY OF THE WORLD!
Greetings from Romania! I'm a happy pilot who got into this magic land of FPV about 7 years ago. Thank you for all your information and work that you share on this beautiful comunity! I salute you JB and the squad :)
That part about the ski goggles and cutting out the lens and affixing camera monitors. 🤯
I've been out the hobby for quite a few years and am just picking it back up as I've had more free time. This video really helped rekindle that passion I've always had for it, can't wait to get my Apex flying! Especially seeing all the creators of the videos I used to learn!
Amazing documentary. Thank you all and hello from Türkiye 🥰
Wow! Speechless! This should be on Netflix +more 👏🏼
Wow. Josh congrats on a well produced powerful representation of a somewhat misunderstood hobby. This is an important film.
what can I say, thank you guys for everything. I know personally none of you and yet I feel like we are close friends. It has been a ride.
Thank you for making this. Brought back some great memories of mine!
What a great documentary. I now see this community with whole new eyes. I really love to be in this community. Best greats from Germany ❤
I love this FPV documentary and a huge thank you to fpv influencer Joshua Bardwell who is a great teacher and an fpv friend. ✈️🇺🇸👍
Anyway, many thanks to everyone who participated in this film. It has depth and meaning. Greetings from the Czech republic 🙂
Thx to all Pilots and FPV Enthusiasts that made this Art of Flying possible, thx for all this shared Knowledge, shared Experiences and Inventions. It's difficult to cover everything, I know, but I miss KababFPV @Kabab in this documentary. For me was he one of the most inspiring and authentic Enthusiast when I started with FPV in 2020. Pease and Happy Flying !!!
2minutes in and I already know I'm sharing this with Everyone! After watching the whole video all I can say is, Well done all.
Wow. This is a banger. Thx 2 all who were part of that amazing Docu 🎉
Sooo glad I see this movie! was Ripping Freestyle a while back, always a fan of FPV. This stuff evolves so much and I know there's much more to learn, so for that I gotta see the guys in Orlando to get back into.
i started FPV after watching MrSteele and his freestyle mixed with music. I felt i want that too, so i brought my first DJI equipment, knowing that i get a realy safe way to start FPV. Hours of simulated trainings and enjoyed flow of al of the Rotor Riot Team i think i m ready to go out. i was "gonna learn something today" alot of days since 2021. now 3 years later, im not that good as i thougt i can get, but i can easily fix and repair all of my stuff, and thats a realy good sidekick by going into this hobby. you not only learn about physics, you learn alot of electronics and programming.
Thanks for all your work,
your lil german fan
Thank you for sharing. Loved every minute of it!
Love the association with skateboarding... soo true!
That was the exact same feel when i found vik_fpv.
Im missing him and his unique art of flying. Wish him all the best whatever and where ever he is tight now!
He inspired me so much with his lines and the joy he put into it.
❤ from germany to all fpv legends out there transfering feelings into motion!
I can confidently say that I learned 95% of all my drone knowledge has come from JB videos... so much appreciation for the dedication of this man
Joshua thanks for the video. You are the reason I became addicted to FPV. Thanks guys. Here in Poland we also have a problem with legal practice of this wonderful hobby but here there is no such community and protests. 👌🕹🕹👌
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful work!
Really nice to see my favorite fpv pilots in a documentary ❤
Thank you! I unknowingly needed this.
Thanks for reigniting the flame, dropped out for a while getting my business together. Now i can write these little babies off lol Hope to see you guys around im in the southeast too!
This film resonates so much with me, having got into the hobby when the NAZE+cleanflight was still the best tech around. I'm about to go digital and get back into flying more (2 kids put a bit of a hold on things). It's strange just how much you miss flying. Great work to everyone who worked on this film. It's excellent.
Dude the kk2.0 was the good stuff
Thank you for uploading this Joshua!!!😍😍
Just shared this my FPV group. All + reviews! Thank u for sharing in this.
You captured the essence of FPV so well. Thanks for this!
this isn't a documentary...it's a love story. so well done bro...cheers
I'm so glad you are releasing this on your channel. More people need to watch this!
Thanks for sharing Joshua. Great film.
Completely missed this documentary back in 2020! That whole era was something. FPV and Fixed Wing hobbyist were all very motivated and active in protecting their passion.
Thanks for posting this Joshua......... i'm sat here after a really shitty week as a store manager... This dropped onto my play list and reminded me why i started flying in the first place. A year out, still on Bots discord and all i can say is the fpv community is legendary!!!! Its unlike any other hobbyist/commercial community....
Thanks for putting this out, doc looks great!
This is such an amazing video thank you. I started doing fpv about 12 years ago, inspired by flite test and David Wendestal, I however struggled to keep up with the technology advances as well as the costs in a declining economy of South Africa whilst trying to suport a young family, so I sold my gear and kinda forced myself to forget about it. Now my younger son is 14 and has an interest I have bought a çouple of cheap goggles and some quads and we are going down this path together. Living in the UK now we also have better (still not cheap) access to the equipment needed too so let's see where this journey takes us. Your videos (amoung others) have helped me so far in getting caught up with the latest and setting up a quad so thank you. This video is inspiring.
I want to get in this hobby SO SO badly. I am in poor health and can’t work. So I just absolutely cannot afford it. It’s just not possible. I have a few cheap helicopters and a RC car. But i would kill to get get into FPV. I want to fly a helicopter or plane, i want to fly. It’s my dream, and this will be as close to getting that feeling. But i cant even do this. I’m still going to dream about getting one one day. Maybe just one very small step at a time. I live in Atlanta, maybe i can find a community to help me figure out how to go about learning. These videos are great! Love this documentary! ❤️
Thanks for releasing it on TH-cam!! Time to share it with others... 👍😃
Thank you JB and to everyone involved in the video production.
Thanx for sharing! I have this one on DVD, absolutly worth seeing!
Wow! Loved the movie, really brings me back! I got into FPV in 2017 and unfortunately quit on it somewhat in 2020 due to many and mostly personal reasons but also thanks to the pandemic at the time. Anywho, I've spent countless hours watching near all of the featured pilots, and this reeeeally gets me in the feels. Makes me wanna do it all over again. FPV is just so so special and for me, it started from a simple TH-cam video I saw and I knew I had to have it in my life and I'm so grateful for every single moment I spent in it during those 3 years. Thanks for putting this movie together, I hope to someday get my son into this too nowadays :D
I’ve been flying FPV for 4 years and learned to fly by watching Bardwell’s videos and his reviews of products are second to none. If you’re a newbie, I recommend starting out flying in a sim, like Liftoff.
Thanks Joshua for sharing the film.
Feeling a bit sentimental right now. Thanks Josh
thank you so much for putting it on youtube. i watched it on vimeo when you released it but youtube is simply my prefered platform so i'm really happy to see it here and watch it again
I LOOOOOOOOOVE every second of the Atlanta segment, it really brings back memories and makes me wanna break the bank to jump back in the hobby
Thanks bro... Awesome documentary
FPV defined my whole life between 2016-2021. Then life got in the way and I had to prioritize other things. Thank you for this.
Dang. This is high quality production value stuff. Love it!
Joshua, thank you for sharing this film here on TH-cam. I had an absolute blast watching it!! Best regards from Brasilia, Brazil.
Fantastic. I found myself in everything you said. Thank you
Thanks for releasing this Josh!
Been in the game just over a year me an 2 of my sons an i gotta say its something else we are hooked, big ups to the whole of the fpv community chur from NZ
I wish I couold make everyone that knows me and my love of flying watch this. Like many on this video, I also started with planes and taping all kninds of things to them to get the sensation of seeing what it would be like. At 66 I am not anywhere as fast and skilled as the experts......but my love of this hobby is no less than theirs. Great job to all involved.
Hi Josh, I’ve been out the FPV acro game for 5 years bluewater sailing. You and all these guys I followed from day one have all ‘grown up’ The drones have advanced amazingly too!!
This is beautiful... Great work from everybody involved
Thanks for posting!
Great video! Thanks for the work you've done!
Back in 2018, I was inspired by FPV and plunged into this hobby. And then, years later, it suddenly became my profession and gave me hope during a difficult time. Unfortunately, there is a war in my country now and I cannot pursue my hobby as before. Our airspace is completely closed to any civil flights. But thanks to our work in the field of FPV drones, our company has permission to fly, albeit with restrictions. For now this is the only opportunity for me to fly.
FPV is not just about racing or freestyle. This is also a promising military direction. Therefore, sooner or later, the governments of all states will come to the issue of regulating unmanned aircraft.
Anyway... Thank you for developing the FPV topic and making it accessible to a wider range of users!
Hello from Ukraine 💙💛 ✌
