I have to say you’ve got winter camping where I like it, the thing that always turns me off from the snow camping is all the snow inside the tent, you sir prove that you don’t have to have as much snow inside than out, I love the way you have everything organized. Thanks for a positive winter camp.
Thanks. I been sleeping on reindeerskin directly on the snow all years before and its so good to have other options now. As long as I bring my stuff with snowmobile I dont care so much about how much I bring with me. Just nice to have it warm and comfy while I can..

@@manofsan, mosty driving on this island. A long trip is 40 km one way, but normaly i go arond 20 km one way. Its very much just up and down, a lot of mountains here. Planning to do some off the island trips next winter..

How did you stake down the back of helleren tarp to the snow/ground in 3 locations shown in 15:09 as the hole in the silver colour ring to which guy rope loops via is small and the helleren stakes are too wide to go through that silver loop ring. Is the guy rope just hanging off on the snow/ground on those 3 locations and not tied to any stakes since back of tarp is touching the ground?
You can see this sticks in the video along the snowmobile track. They also use them on bouth side of the road in wintertime to show where the road is. So I been picking up some left overs beside the road after the winter, cut them in 30-40 cm bits and they are perfect for this use. I have not tried them in sand yet, but i will quess they will do the work there to.
I will bring the sink next time ;) I guess its been a bit overkill, but I belive over time we will be more selective when we pack for camp. And also the spring is here, so soon its no more snowmobile driving and we have to carry our gear on our back..

Havent you heard about the snowmosquito? We have alot.. 😉 Its a opening under the outside door so i close the net to prevent snow to come in the tent if its blowing a lot..
what the max temperature you can get the tent with the fire on, how fast does the heat dissipate when the fire dies down and how quickly can did you get the heat from -2 to 2 degrees and finally how cold was it outside when you woke up
You can get it almost as warm you want, depends how hard you burn the stove. When the stove is out its getting cold quickly and the same the other way. I think it was around - 5..

I only have the gamme 6 polycotton version. Nortent gamme 4 only comes in silnylon version so it would easy to see the different between these two tents. So, its gamme 6 the whole time 😊

What are the orange pipe stakes? What length are those and where do you buy those from? Do these work great in both snow and sand?

What brand of wood stove are you using? It's a good sized stove. Does it fold or can it be taken apart?
Its the not foldable steel stove from nortent. Its heavy but it keep you warm no matter what.
