- Solo ice fish camping overnight in hot tent. The winter in north of norway is slow, not much snow at the time, but still nice to go for a quick over night camp and try out some new gear. Wife still at work so it had to be a solo trip this time.

Its a great tent and I love it. Yeah, I been bringing a lot of stuff lately, mostly becourse I can. Driving snowmobil with sled give you the freedom to bring almost what you want to bring. But the setup will be different now and then.

Thank you so much. As long as its frosty people always set camp on the ice up here in the north and the main activity is ice fishing. Im of work today so tomorrow I pack and go camping again. Video will come as soon as I can get it ready..

What are the orange pipe stakes? What length are those and where do you buy those from? Do these work great in both snow and sand?
You can see this sticks in the video along the snowmobile track. They also use them on bouth side of the road in wintertime to show where the road is. So I been picking up some left overs beside the road after the winter, cut them in 30-40 cm bits and they are perfect for this use. I have not tried them in sand yet, but i will quess they will do the work there to.

I will bring the sink next time ;) I guess its been a bit overkill, but I belive over time we will be more selective when we pack for camp. And also the spring is here, so soon its no more snowmobile driving and we have to carry our gear on our back..
Maybe one hour, inkl pitching the tent.. but thats part of the fun also :)

La tienda que se ve en la nieve es más pequeña que la tienda en la que despues despliega una cama, una estufa, una silla, ese área que sin duda corresponde a la nortent gamme 6 es mucho mayor que la tienda inicial que mas bien parece la nortent gamme 4. ¿Estoy loco o es verdad?
I only have the gamme 6 polycotton version. Nortent gamme 4 only comes in silnylon version so it would easy to see the different between these two tents. So, its gamme 6 the whole time 😊

Yeah I do. Its big and heavy but perfect for base camp. Its so quiet when its windy. But it just comes with 2 support rods, so i had to buy some extra since i use the tarp the way i do.

Не проще купить домик на лыжах для передвижения по снегу, что бы не тратить столько времени на то чтоб сложить все вещи а потом и разложить?! 😁 И в домике на много комфортней спать чем в палатке..

Sorry, I have just that tent. Wish I had the smaler one too. You are the second one that think its 2 different tent, but its actually the same tent. Maybe its the wide angle lense that make it look bigger inside..

No wonder you tow a trailer behind your sled , you must have brought a lot of firewood with you, and so much other gear, you sure don't travel light.
Yeah, it takes 1-2 sack of wood pr day and since its hard to find wood where we are living we have to bring it. The trailer we always bring so why not bring all the gear we like? :) In summer its more basic, have to carry it all on my back ;)

Yeah, I am. In winter time I always do that. Easy to get water and if I want I can drill a hole inside the tent to fish..

Why is it all camping videos are the same content
I think most people just do the basic stuff when camping, so do we.. but I agree, it can be a bit boring to watch when its the same over and over again so we will try to do things different now and then if possible. We enjoy camping very much but we are new in the game of making videos and we still have a lot to learn and we will welcome tips and advice and would very much like to hear what other people like to watch.
This is not camping this is punishment, madness.
Im not sure what you mean, but people are luckly different and have their own way of doing things. For me this is not madness, if it was I will never do this. 😊 i just enjoy to get away from the everyday life, be outdoors and charge the batterys.
