Quick question . I have the Otter Monster lodge, and love it for winter camping. It isn't great if it rains unless it has a tarp over it. How would you compare the Gamme 6 or 8 PC to it? In Canada the price is 3x as much for the Gamme . Really like it just not sure I can justify three times the cost for it. Great videos, thank you!
The gamme is a much better tent for all seasons. For me the monster was useless in wet conditions until i seamseeled all seams and modified the windows. After that im happy with it, i love the space inside. But my favorite is the gamme 6 pc..
@@70northandnature thank you so much for your replies. It is nice to hear from people who actually used both. In Canada right now the pro monster lodge is approx 800 Canadian dollars, whereas the Gamme 8pc is around 2500 Canadian dollars. The Gamme 6 PC is a little less. I really like the design of the Gamme., many things I like about the Monster Lodge as well. It is bloody heavy though. Very warm tent with a wood stove. I may have to try the Gamme 8 as well. Love your videos, very well done.
@@70northandnature thanks that's awesome. do you leave the 2 side vents and all the top vents open for fresh air ventilation or leave them all closed because PC fabric breathes well anyway?
@@techwhizard I only sometimes leave one top vent open when I cook. Yeah, the fabric breathes very well and air also comes in under the door. But keep in mind that I so far only used the tent in cold and windy condition.
Great video. Looking forward to this winters hot tenting season.
Me too 😊
This is exactly what the Gamme PC tents are for. I have really enjoyed seeing your video
