Wow 😲😳. That's a lot of snow ❄️. We just got maybe 2 inches today. It's the biggest amount of the winter, so far. Feb 16,2024. Hello from Indiana USA and this 62 year old lady. I'm a big fan of you. Thanks for sharing this with me 😊.
Beautiful scenery! What beautiful weather. So many lovely pictures of the snow and the trees, thank you. I appreciate what a considerate camper you are. You did not cut living trees, just dead trees, and you even packed your stove ashes out. The salmon looked delicious!
You have some of the best set-ups I have ever seen, and I'm ex-military. Truly brilliant tent design. Great videos, you're entertaining the masses and also teaching them(and me) a thing or to. Take care.
The Stovehut is a fine tent, I use mine quite a bit. But it is NOT designed for that kind of snow loading. I would not recommend that tent at all for heavy snow like that.
Love camping in a snow storm. This is THE smallest hot tent I have ever seen. Here in the US a small SEEK OUTSIDE titanium tent stove would also work. Thanks for this video. TIP: Learn to use XC skis. They take FAR less energy and time per mile/kilometer. Snow Load is always a problem in storms. Are you in Hokkaido?
too bad you didn’t have a bigger tarp to A frame over your main tent, that way the snow would never be able to stick and would slide down both sides of the tarp. l currently live off grid in colorado and had to learn to live in these harsh conditions real quick or die. great video, thanx.
You worked hard to set up camp but unfortunately did a poor job of pegging your tent and guy lines. Your tent turned out to be a disaster. Don't give up, though. Watch your own video and learn from it.
Then I bought a big backpack and a big cone-shaped tent and one of those same stoves that you have, and I bought a lot of food and chocolate from Combia, I bought three lighters and three boxes of matches.
Agreed, a single pole teepee tent would be more better to shed the snow. And, the awning flap complicates the pooling of the falling snow. If the snow continues through the night, the tent will surely collapse again.
I bought Lena a small position, bought alcohol and a mini first aid kit, a sleeping bag and servant leather boots and gloves and an extra pair, I bought an extra jacket bag
A tent is better than nothing, but with all those nice, strong trees, you could have pitched a hammock and a tarp a lot easier, and it would have been more comfortable. Just bring a little gas stove...
Something that I don't get in these videos is, why snowshoes instead of skis with skins? They are much much better in deep pow, and you save lots of energy. No one uses them, and as a splitboarder, I avoid snowshoes 99% of the time.
It surprises me that being Japanese or Oriental who consume a lot of rice does not know that once cooked rice should be consumed all and not save leftovers to consume later because it becomes somewhat toxic and generates elements that are harmful to health and even changes the flavor of the rice freshly cooked, be careful and do your research.
I get that winter camping is a challenge but OMG! Other than for social medial and product placement whats the point of all that effort and discomfort for one night of camping? Its pointless. And never mind that theres no voice over because i"m pretty sure the guy was freezing to death most of the time.
Thanks!
thank you! It's encouraging
Thank you for this video. Well done! Quite a good bit of snow!
Love your entire setup. Probably my favorite of all the “hot tent” videographers. Just seemed to make sense and your tent configuration was great.
Nice work in heavy snow ❄️
WOW! Very extreme blizzard conditions. Beautiful camping area, but I think I would prefer being there when the weather was a little warmer.
Great winter camping I like the gear the style everything....
This guy is Living Proof that Misery Loves Company. This is insane ------

I'd ask you to go camping with me but you live too far away. :) j/k

Omg, that meal you had looks 10x better than my wife’s cooking!🫠
Hope she doesn't see your comment otherwise your are a ded man
is that true? 🤣
Does she know the recipe to make ice cubes?
What a hell of a snow storm 😳
Honestly I would have tried to bring a heftier Tent 😮
All that work for just ONE NIGHT! That bugs me everytime these guys never stay for more nights.
I have the exact same hot tent. I like watching other people use it. Gives great ideas.
Definitely not the best tent for those conditions. Maybe a dome shaped tent would have been better, but overall, a decent video👍
Such beautiful scenery. I can't wait for your return with some new videos .

New sub here ! I like the winter conditions in which you where camping , takes a lot of determination from your part
Much respect for you being there and filming this.

wow ! snowstorm
Friday, February 16th: Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Happy Trails! Ross08
First time viewing your videos. Im really impressed . From the 🇬🇧 uk
I like the muffled sound of the snow vs the usual screechy one.
Thanks for sharing from Melbourne Australia..👍
Take care and be safe!

Very beautiful place, greetings from Bulgaria,
Love this video. Thanks for making best video sir❤
I enjoyed this video. ✌️ from Montana/USA.
Wow, what a white out you got caught in. Watching from NC/USA 🇺🇸💪
😢
Put some common sense in pitching a tent on snowy weather, you had the canopy high up catching all the snow like a basin
Looks cozy
Amazing camp
Awesome video!!!

great video, thanx.
Whoa!!! That's a LOT of snow!!! Beautiful, but it keeps piling up on your tent.
👍👍👍
Hot tent and snowstorm
thanks
On one occasion some friends invited me to go camping.
I am curious how much your loaded backpack weighed in at?
A nice and relaxing video to watch.
amazing video

Cảnh tuyết quá đẹp , tối thích video của bạn
Where do you film (country)? Just a curious question if nothing else.
Amazing video ! +1 sub
Amazing snow THE ACE
Hi!may I know what place you are camping?
Genial 😂🎉🎉😂
Make sure the snow you harvesting is not yellow…..😊
❤
A wrong type of tent for snowing day.
I want to camp in snow like this 😭😭😭

I camped but I cut long pine stakes and that same night a very strong storm, their wood did not hang
Not a good tent for the snow. It does not look very durable

Man I can't even imagine how people eat raw fish or raw egg... It's just disgusting 🤢
Different strokes for different folks.
Just why really?
That's not camping. That's surviving.
Oh please. That little stove gave you enough heat BS
It’s only a small tent. Not much room to heat up

Tent doesn’t look very sturdy…

This has got to be the worse design of a winter tent I've ever seen. I might be wrong but I would hate to be camping with a tent like that
My friends said you are going to live because you have bought many more things from the United States, very few things and a flint to make fire,
boa noite
Dinner looks like sashimi and fried rice. One of my favorites!
I get that winter camping is a challenge but OMG! Other than for social medial and product placement whats the point of all that effort and discomfort for one night of camping? Its pointless.
