This is a Joker that has traveled from another universe to the Arkhamverse. There is a lot that you can criticize this game for, but it does not undo the death of Arkhamverse Joker.
If Rocksteady made Teen Titans: Save the Justice League they would have made bank Imagine Nightwing vs Batman, with Nightwing helping Bruce break Brainiac’s mind control “You’re not just a mask… you’re a man, the best man i’ve ever known”

Even Marvel's Avengers never did anything as bad as this. At the very least with that game as soon as the new update would come out, you could play as the heroes instantaneously as soon as you boot up the updated game. They never did anything as bad as resetting your level and making you grind all the way back up to unlock a character or charge you extra money so you could skip the grind. This game ended up being worse than Marvel's Avengers and it's really sad to see how far RockSteady Has Fallen

Beat a city wide prison full of guards psychologically conditioned to not succumb to fear, batman’s greatest tool. Brought a criminally insane asylum back under control, full of super-powered villains. Managed to fight and defeat 8 top-assassins in only his second year of crime fighting…
This is the worst thing that’s ever happened to The ArkhamVerse. Even when the insomniac verse has its worst moments are way better than the decisions they made in this games story or the game in general.

This is a moble game with upgraded graphics. You hit pay walls often, grind for useless gear, its so repetitive. The boss fights are a joke. The outfits are terrible. They make you do the same thing over & over expecting a different result. Its the true definition of Insanity. This game stinks.

A lot of jokers humor comes from the fact he is the goofiest person in the room his jokes on their own would be hit or miss but when contrasted with normal to serious people like batman its meant to either acheive A. His sadistic side or B. His humorous side Joker as a charater has the range to ease tension. You guys wanna know how to do a villain right and actually have him be not only a threat, but actually competent? Look know further than Vex from Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Let’s get to why he’s a better villain than Braniac in KTJL: Firstly He actually has a personality besides being a villain. He’s conniving, playful, A joy to watch on screen, but most importantly act like an actual competent threat. At first we think that he carelessly dropped his literal plans to take over the world, but once we reach the end of the 4th world, he comes out in not only one of the most badass entrances possible, but also takes away the dreamer orbs we’ve been collecting throughout the whole game, which basically powers up his Topsy Turver, the machine that brings forth the Uproar. So he not did he trick us into practically giving him his needs to succeed, he did it right under our noses. And while after that whole ordeal he did just leave us to wallow in our defeat, even when we went to go and stop him, he doesn’t just let us foil his plans, he makes sure that we have a a hard time stopping him. Not only that but even after we have our third fight with him, he practically says F**k you, I’m the whole world now, and practically becomes the Uproar itself. In the level "Jumping to Conclusions" He practically controls the whole level making sure we fail or Die with changing the platforms or Summoning enemies. You see what I mean, Vex doesn’t let us stop his plans, he’s an actual threat. Even when he practically accomplishes his goals, he doesn’t just sit back in complete victory, He was victorious but he’s gonna make sure he stays victorious. TL;DR: Vex is what a villain should be, and Braniac fails at that See Y’all next time 😁✌🏻❤ ~Fuzed_Basquez

Why don't we experience any of those stories than the moment to trash that is Suicide Squad Kill: the Justice League, even those stories at their absolute worst are much better than this game at its absolute best. Considering that less than 0.5% of the people who bought this game are still playing it - just 6 days after the game's first season of (FREE) dlc - I think they might want to cut their losses and just... shut the servers down now. Unless the remaining 900 players (it'll be less tomorrow, and even less the day after that) decide to spend $100,000 (each) on the game, I don't see the point of limping this thing along, unless WB is just hell-bent on increasing their greenhouse gas emissions for the year.
I just want to make a quick comparison. Suicide squad and Helldiver 2 both released in February this year only days apart. Before the joker update the player numbers of kill the justice league dropped dramatically at some points not even having 2k players. As of right now Helldivers 2 is still in the top 10 highest current players on steam. Just a few weeks ago it was in the top 3 with over 100k players at once Both of these games are live service with stories that are still being made as it goes on, both have battle passes. The difference between these two games is that Helldivers 2 is for people to play, the developers wanted to make a fun game, battle passes can be bought with money but if you’re playing the game you can earn the battle pass. Kill the justice league is there to make money and nothing more, the plot is just there to drag you in so you spend more money. Hell I know TH-camr who literally got scammed out of his money when he tried to buy joker so now the game literally owes him money.

every time, without fail, joker is a cheap tool for terrible writers that don't understand him and they need something cool or deep superficially in their work.
So i did a bit of research on the game and found out that Rocksteady had this in development for 7 whole years before its release. Keep in mind, Arkham Knight and AK VR had alright come out at this time. My guess is they were either working on another game or retired from making games entirely with this being left in the pocket before DC Comics came to them and forced them to pick it back up a few years before it was put on the shelves.
This makes me want to go back and play Marvel avengers again. Im still puzzled by how marvel had the blueprint for this already and still fucked it up like it should have been a modern ultimate alliance. I get they couldnt have that many heroes as almost every hero in marvel has been an avenger at some point but there at least should have been more like Doctor Strange, scarlet witch, scott langs Ant-Man(they explained in a throwaway line why hank pym cant fight but ok), captain Marvel, quicksilver, etc. Also when they did add new characters they were free without the grid or strings attached
I don't really mind the gameplay, but it's just so cringe that in this game, brainiac is twice as op as injustice 2's brainiac and lost to bunch of assholes that have no idea what they're doing.

They did it better in Injustice One where Injustice Batman seeks out other members of the Justice League from a different universe to take down a threat that he knows he can’t take down on his own. This is just my opinion though and that’s how I remember the game going, haven’t played it in a while.
It's pretty obvious that the game is dead going forward. There will be those still playing and if you enjoy it, like what you like. Nothing is wrong when you're just having fun with a game. But most people's reactions even down to a deeper level have been heard, and no one wants to wait to see them backpeddle on decisions. Because when people play a Main Story, that's what they expect. Nothing more.
I missed when the DC games were king (especially the Arkham games). Now in recent years, DC is nothing more but a lazy cash-grab with a cliche live-service model.

I understand the reasoning behind Joker helping the squads because if there’s no world or humanity how is he gonna be able to be a psycho and mess with people.
I could ignore the dumb plot if the game was fun but it becomes repetitive very quickly, the GUI is horrible, the characters are annoying (specially harley), the gunplay is mid at best and the bossfights are just "hit the weak spot of the bullet sponge" wich they even recycled 2 of them... The only good things I can say about this game are the voice acting (except the jonkler) and the movement but the latter ain't anything crazy either The whole concept of this game is flawed, the justice league is just too overpowered to be taken down by guys with guns and I think they just wanted to cash out with the "evil superman" trend that has been going on for a while
So they really saw what happened with Avengers and said 'y know what, we gon be rich!' I still can't believe that this is the same studio that gave us the Arkham games I know the employees that worked on those games are gone but still
I had an idea that it would've been better for the story to instead have the jl defeat Brainiac, but get sent across the multi-verse, and at the same time other Villians and some of their counterparts, like Johnny Quick, and the Batman who laughs could take the place of the Batman and Flash boss fights, and Villians like Atrocitus(Red Lantern) and General Zod could take the place of Superman and Green Lantern, General Zod being from an alternate dimension which would explain why they need to alter the Kryptonite in the first place, and the seasons after would be fighting alternate dimensional Villians, taking their infamous and notorious weapons, and locating the jl
Lemme get this straight and I welcome anyone to correct me if I’m wrong… we are to pay $70 for base game, unless you buy the deluxe edition which for some reason is less than the standard game on the PS store for $49.99, the deluxe upgrade might still cost another $34.95 on top of that, not counting the multiple options of “Luthor Coin” as in game currency you have to buy which are basically Fortnite V bucks, then you still don’t immediately get Joker even after you’ve paid for the season pass unless you want to pay extra to just get him… with more DLC characters coming that I’m guessing you’ll have to pay even more to access them… just for the game’s story & writing to be inconsistent + suck?

You guys wanna know how to do a villain right and actually have him be not only a threat, but actually competent? Look know further than Vex from Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Let’s get to why he’s a better villain than Braniac in KTJL:
Firstly He actually has a personality besides being a villain. He’s conniving, playful, A joy to watch on screen, but most importantly act like an actual competent threat. At first we think that he carelessly dropped his literal plans to take over the world, but once we reach the end of the 4th world, he comes out in not only one of the most badass entrances possible, but also takes away the dreamer orbs we’ve been collecting throughout the whole game, which basically powers up his Topsy Turver, the machine that brings forth the Uproar. So he not did he trick us into practically giving him his needs to succeed, he did it right under our noses.
And while after that whole ordeal he did just leave us to wallow in our defeat, even when we went to go and stop him, he doesn’t just let us foil his plans, he makes sure that we have a a hard time stopping him.
Not only that but even after we have our third fight with him, he practically says F**k you, I’m the whole world now, and practically becomes the Uproar itself. In the level "Jumping to Conclusions" He practically controls the whole level making sure we fail or Die with changing the platforms or Summoning enemies.
You see what I mean, Vex doesn’t let us stop his plans, he’s an actual threat. Even when he practically accomplishes his goals, he doesn’t just sit back in complete victory, He was victorious but he’s gonna make sure he stays victorious.
TL;DR: Vex is what a villain should be, and Braniac fails at that

Of course the 2 Rocksteady co-founders and game/studio directors of all the previous games did in fact leave during production.

Considering that less than 0.5% of the people who bought this game are still playing it - just 6 days after the game's first season of (FREE) dlc - I think they might want to cut their losses and just... shut the servers down now. Unless the remaining 900 players (it'll be less tomorrow, and even less the day after that) decide to spend $100,000 (each) on the game, I don't see the point of limping this thing along, unless WB is just hell-bent on increasing their greenhouse gas emissions for the year.

I just want to make a quick comparison.
Suicide squad and Helldiver 2 both released in February this year only days apart.
Before the joker update the player numbers of kill the justice league dropped dramatically at some points not even having 2k players.
As of right now Helldivers 2 is still in the top 10 highest current players on steam. Just a few weeks ago it was in the top 3 with over 100k players at once
Both of these games are live service with stories that are still being made as it goes on, both have battle passes.
The difference between these two games is that Helldivers 2 is for people to play, the developers wanted to make a fun game, battle passes can be bought with money but if you’re playing the game you can earn the battle pass.
Kill the justice league is there to make money and nothing more, the plot is just there to drag you in so you spend more money. Hell I know TH-camr who literally got scammed out of his money when he tried to buy joker so now the game literally owes him money.
We went from one of the best jokers in any DC video game of all time with the Arkham games to one of the worst appearance in not just in DC video games but worst version the joker off all time only rivaling jared leto as the worst version of the joker off all time

every time, without fail, joker is a cheap tool for terrible writers that don't understand him and they need something cool or deep superficially in their work.
I never thought we'd find a worse Joker than Jared Leto...yet here we are.
So i did a bit of research on the game and found out that Rocksteady had this in development for 7 whole years before its release. Keep in mind, Arkham Knight and AK VR had alright come out at this time. My guess is they were either working on another game or retired from making games entirely with this being left in the pocket before DC Comics came to them and forced them to pick it back up a few years before it was put on the shelves.

This makes me want to go back and play Marvel avengers again. Im still puzzled by how marvel had the blueprint for this already and still fucked it up like it should have been a modern ultimate alliance. I get they couldnt have that many heroes as almost every hero in marvel has been an avenger at some point but there at least should have been more like Doctor Strange, scarlet witch, scott langs Ant-Man(they explained in a throwaway line why hank pym cant fight but ok), captain Marvel, quicksilver, etc. Also when they did add new characters they were free without the grid or strings attached

They did it better in Injustice One where Injustice Batman seeks out other members of the Justice League from a different universe to take down a threat that he knows he can’t take down on his own. This is just my opinion though and that’s how I remember the game going, haven’t played it in a while.

It's pretty obvious that the game is dead going forward. There will be those still playing and if you enjoy it, like what you like. Nothing is wrong when you're just having fun with a game. But most people's reactions even down to a deeper level have been heard, and no one wants to wait to see them backpeddle on decisions. Because when people play a Main Story, that's what they expect. Nothing more.
I missed when the DC games were king (especially the Arkham games). Now in recent years, DC is nothing more but a lazy cash-grab with a cliche live-service model.

I could ignore the dumb plot if the game was fun but it becomes repetitive very quickly, the GUI is horrible, the characters are annoying (specially harley), the gunplay is mid at best and the bossfights are just "hit the weak spot of the bullet sponge" wich they even recycled 2 of them...
The only good things I can say about this game are the voice acting (except the jonkler) and the movement but the latter ain't anything crazy either
The whole concept of this game is flawed, the justice league is just too overpowered to be taken down by guys with guns and I think they just wanted to cash out with the "evil superman" trend that has been going on for a while

I had an idea that it would've been better for the story to instead have the jl defeat Brainiac, but get sent across the multi-verse, and at the same time other Villians and some of their counterparts, like Johnny Quick, and the Batman who laughs could take the place of the Batman and Flash boss fights, and Villians like Atrocitus(Red Lantern) and General Zod could take the place of Superman and Green Lantern, General Zod being from an alternate dimension which would explain why they need to alter the Kryptonite in the first place, and the seasons after would be fighting alternate dimensional Villians, taking their infamous and notorious weapons, and locating the jl
Lemme get this straight and I welcome anyone to correct me if I’m wrong… we are to pay $70 for base game, unless you buy the deluxe edition which for some reason is less than the standard game on the PS store for $49.99, the deluxe upgrade might still cost another $34.95 on top of that, not counting the multiple options of “Luthor Coin” as in game currency you have to buy which are basically Fortnite V bucks, then you still don’t immediately get Joker even after you’ve paid for the season pass unless you want to pay extra to just get him… with more DLC characters coming that I’m guessing you’ll have to pay even more to access them… just for the game’s story & writing to be inconsistent + suck?
