The only things that stand out to me as not spectacular is no isha backstory and dolores (?). Not knowing why she gets so attached to jinx so fast. Even if she was only hoping to keep thugs off her back for awhile would be cool but actually seeing what makes her stay would be more effective. What we got was fine but a scene with her parents giving her up to the thugs and leaving her to fend for herself followed by jinx saving her would be an improvement to me. With dolores, all they had to do was not make it that he was fake sleeping when vi was recruited. It's maybe my fault but i got the impression he had an agenda. I thought it was maybe to "manipulate" vi into joining or something with thw underground but there was no acknowledgement of that so im not sure

I'm pretty sure that Jinx actually IS marginally "better" even in the beginning of the seasons. Seems like killing Silco and settling in the role of Jinx somewhat stabilised her. In the beginning of episode two she mentiones that the voices are quiet now. Yes, Isha helps her to move in a more healthy direction, but Jinx was already not as torn apart by her psychosis as she was in season one.

rage bait, don't fall for it. if the first 1 minute of the video doesn't make real points, just some subjective critique WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING, while talkin' in a downgrading, passive agressive voice (the problem isn't his voice, but the way he uses it), they are rage baiting. the meaning that a video like this got out means, that he is doing fine, goodjob @AmmiO !

Also, this guy just doesn’t understand Sevika's character. He says she wouldn't have followed Jinx if she knew she'd killed Silco. But nothing about Sevika says this. In fact it says quite the opposite. She's never loyal to a person, she's loyal to the cause. She's loyal to Zaun, its why she betrays Vander, its why she works with Jinx. Its why she keeps pushing even without Silco. They maie it an explicit point to show she isn’t charismatic or a leader.

The funny thing is, I watched the first video he made and the comments weren’t as bad as he exaggerates. Maybe I was just too early, but everyone was either praising him or gently expressing disagreement with valid points. I even almost left a comment because about half of his points were off or just wrong. Thankfully I didn’t. There's no point getting involved.

About Marcus betrayal, they actually mention it in season 1 during the council in episode... 8 I think? It was right before Vi talked to them. If anyone's gonna act like Maddie knowing about it is a flaw, they should put it on season 1 not 2.

I tried watching this guy's video but in the first few minutes he completely turned me off to hearing anything he had to say by having completely biased knitpicks and acting like they are objective observations. Super condescending, and hypocritical within like 1 minute and 2 sentences

My biggest wish was that Arcane 2 wouldve given ekko and jayce a full episode each depicting the contrast begin "heaven" and "hell" that way I could appreciate their struggles in their new worlds more and ultimately connect more with the new person they became.

He spends so long shitting on episode 7. How? He almost refuses to use any comprehension when understanding and talking about that episode. "Uh alternate timeline so why should I care?"

His criticisms are clearly valid simply because season 1 lacks these problems. A lot of times a moment in the show is presented to you, the problem is explained and you say "and? What's the problem? You didnt explain why it is a problem". Sometimes you are right and it's an actual non-issue, but in most cases it can clearly be understood that one person would see no problem after doing writers' job and another wouldn't. This it is something objective, that you chose to ignore and forgive rather than some critic being an ass. And these things add up, when there are a lot of "explainable" moments like these it's no longer "bad faith" to criticize them, the show is just bad (first act is not enough to be bad but it's just the start). The same can be said for conveniences. You cant just brush them off when they are going so rapid fire and when they are worse compared to the examples you provided for season 1, as conveniences for the sake of general plot are more forgivable, "the story wouldn't happened if it that didnt happen". I especially believe this to be true as I enjoyed season 2 and the more I think about it the worse it seems. For this act the worst part for me was Heimerdinger. You really think it's okay from the writing perspective that he never speaks about his past colleagues being killed? That's his "arc"? Actually no, the worst part was that there was no brilliant dialogue like in season 1, most of it is very trivial. Only a comparative thing of course, but again it adds up. Mind that I became this somewhat negative only after rewatching it, the first time was completely fine. And this is only the first act, which has probably the best writing without actual plot holes Over time responses like yours and SK's become annoying with the same memes, same glazing of everything. You mention one can nitpick convinces in any show if they wish. I'm pretty sure they way you defend movies can be used to defend anything, even the shit you hate like the suicide squad game. This is not supposed to be an insult, just wish you good analytical thinking could be used for better.

Episode 7 for me was great because it took more time with actually building something and felt less rushed than the others. S2 was pretty bad and the more I learn about some storylines the more laughable it gets, doesn’t mean it’s the worst sh1t I ever watched, it was entertaining and most characters themselves are awesome, the issue is how the characters were used

the best part about sevikas arm is also that everytime she hits an attack she gets higher score and gives her more moves untill the final one plke the punch machine. When she misses the attack she doesnt get a hit on the next spin because it punishes her for failing the bite attack

Simply put season 1 made people care and want a season 2 and is the reason why it got another season. Season 2 made people not care and is going to be a reason why it shouldn’t get another season. If that doesn’t qualify as a bad season I don’t know what does.

This guy sounds like a tool, but I don't think the answer is pointing it out. Just ignore him, let the algorithm drown him. If it really bothers you, by all means continue, getting the word out there about how objectively bad his critiques are is good to keep people informed, but also you risk over exposing him. So I would say, if you see the popularity of his video rising significantly over the next month or two, by all means, post more, otherwise, let it go, for you, for everyone else, and for him. Or post the follow up video for money, rage bait is the bees knees, as you can see by his video and my replying to this one.

I dont get why people make these videos and put comments hating S2 for no fucking reason. All these nitpicks are so ridiculous. One can find millions of same "problems" in S1, like how Powder fell from that height and survived? Why Vander dies from falling on the ground while another guys survived arcane blast under shimmer ? How Ekko and Jinx survive grenade explosion? How Cailtyn found Vi after her parkour while she obviously had no idea where to go? Etc. My only explanation is this: _In human psychology, Baby Duck Syndrome is called the effect when a person, discovering a particular area, considers the first object encountered from this area to be the best, and the subsequent ones to be the worst_

honestly, Loris is one of my favorite characters and I personally loved how they did his death. He wasn't a super mega important character. He was just a guy. And even though we knew his name, he didn't need some epic death where he sacrificed himself to save the world.

Why does this guy seem to need everything explained to him? He continues to create fake plot holes in his head, and considering how detailed the writing and animation is of Arcane, some of the plot holes he came up with such as the noxian soldier guy not wearing a disguise, more than likely either would’ve been intentional or they literally met up in a place where he didn’t have to disguise himself which shouldn’t need to be spelled out, it’s something you can assume. I’m not sure if that makes any sense since I can’t really word things super well, but as someone who has been writing and creating stories since I was in maybe 6th or 7th grade (12-13 maybe? So about 6 years now) good writing is often subtle and there’s subtext to it. A characters motivations or their wants or what they think or feel shouldn’t need to be spelled out because it’s in the subtext, unless they’re a golden retriever who can’t hide anything at all and wear their heart on their sleeve although even then there’s still sometimes subtext with those types. I feel like this guy didn’t understand the show at all and so he got angry and decided to make a video about it because he can’t comprehend the writing in this show. I hope he can understand eventually. Especially because being a condescending jerk never gets you anywhere and I bet it won’t further his TH-cam career. I hope I’m not too rude or harsh to him but genuinely, I wish he’d maybe looked stuff up if he didn’t automatically understand 😅 He seems to see everything in a 2-dimensional lens which you can’t really do with something like Arcane

Its good to clear misinformation but not sure you did it properly. The other dude didnt do a good job with constantly attacking the people with different views. You kinda attacked back a fair bit to say the least, this removes a lot of your credibility. Instead of coming across as the credible source of information ridding any misinformation you come across as the polar opposite of the other dude and the whole video appears sounds and at this point is just a conflict between the blind hater and the lover with rose tinted glasses. Wish i didnt waste my time on this video, enjoy the 1 extra view.
