It’s wonderful to see Lucy blossom at the Sanctuary. Goldens are such sensitive dogs and to see the improvement in just a week is a testament to you and your pack. She looks at you with love and the trust is there, you make her feel safe and loved. I can’t wait to see her when she finally let’s go of her past and leaps into her future with the joy I know is within her.💕

Lucy still has old eyes but she's starting to respond to someone who loves her versus her past abuse, and thank God there's a light in her eyes now! She's improving and will continue to improve. I was really nice to see how Lucy was doing a week after coming home. I love seeing the dogs have fun in the woods and at the creek.

I am so glad to see Lucy doing better physically and mentally. I really worried about her when you had to carry her out of the car and when she wouldn't go walking with the other dogs but then I saw the light at the end of the tunnel when she decided to walk with the pack and I saw her spirits lifting. She is doing so well. Yes I saw some back off but that is to be expected being she was abandoned and came from a puppy mill.

What I recall observing of Lucy when you had first gotten her was that she never wagged her tail. That has changed. I swear we can tell when we look at a dogs face if they are smiling. Now, I can see it all over her face, it's in her eyes. She's happy. Thanks for sharing. What a change. She well never be abused again.

Just a beautiful time being out in the fresh air, getting all of natures odors, walking in the stream, included in a large pack lead by Lee. Lee gives these dogs the love and trust to allow them to put aside the pass hurts and experience what it is to be all dog and Lee's faithful companions. Lee is a very fortunate human being. Thank you for another meaningful video.
Whoever abused her or whatever happened to her is the saddest thing. She is such a loving and sweet baby. (All animals are babies to me.) in my heart I know I was born to rescue these neglected animals as well, so seeing someone else do it fills my heart with joy. You are a lucky man and they are lucky to have you. Such a beautiful bunch. Until I can do this again myself I will enjoy watching your videos. Thank you so so much. ❤️
If you feel you were born to rescue neglected animals, why not rescue 1 or 2 dogs from a shelter yourself? Just make sure to get informed well in advance and be patient and you'll do fine. Bless you. ❤️

They are good examples for us humans. I wish we could learn to let go as quickly and easily as our animal friends do. I really think the pack helps a lot. If it was just her and you, it might not happen so quickly.

What amazes me most is how a large pack of dogs, all with a difficult / sad / broken pasts and all different sizes and ages, just get on beautifully. I do know why, it’s the pack leader who makes everyone feel safe and loved. It’s a gift, a true golden heart and it only takes each dog a short while to realise that. Thank you for being you, for saving / changing/ restoring / loving each and every dog that is so fortunate to find you. PomPom will always be my favourite, but Miss Lucy certainly comes a close second.
