If you take the passenger side wheel well liner off.... the turbo and down pipe v-band clamp it right there...much is easier to take off... You will need a second hand to get the new down pipe on. But the v-band clamp on the turbo is right there!!!!
Thanks for the vid. I have a kit on the way, appreciate the info. I did have a question. I didn't get a throttle body bypass in my kit and I didn't see you install that part. Is it necessary? What does it do?
How is the 68RFE holding up? I have had three and put over 100K on each and have never had a problem. But I never tried to push a lot of power through them.
Is there any reason why you did EGR Cooler delete vs just unplugging? I just had a shop delete my 12 last week with 4 inch Flo pro turbo back and MM3 and just had them unplug EGR. My last truck I did cooler delete but didn't worry about it this time. Nice vid BTW.
Way too complicated for me, and my worry is of January 2019 the new CAA clean air act it’s NOW a federal offense to delete! $5,000 fine and then you have to replace all back on truck, then have emissions smog test and examination!

Quick tip, spraying a little WD 40 helps those hangers come out super easy.

Wd40 does wonders on the grommets

when you floor it does it smoke a lot? famously known as “rolling coal”
So I have mine set on a stock tune but I can go all the way up to level five ( race mode) which will produce black smoke if that’s what you’re into.

I think I have more time in the exhaust than the engine side. Probably 4-6 hours total but I think it could be done faster if you were motivated

How did you not blow black smoke after the deletes? I’m considering doing the same.
It will blow the black smoke if you go to the highest tune, I never go past the tow tune and when I’m not towing I just keep it in the stock tune.
