Extra or unwanted DEF can be diluted with water and sprayed on your lawn for fertilizer. Best way to get rid of it.
There are forums on line that show you how to cut it with water. It’s a cheap excellent fertilizer!
Thank you for the added info and shedding more light on this diesel emission Bullshit. I just finished my delete on my 2014 VW JSW/Golf Variant TDI with a full EGR and intake swirler delete, Kerma TDI full airbox delete (Kerma TDI Ram Air intake and Kerma TDI Turbo Inlet) which is two years after doing a full DPF delete using Rawtek Max Performance DPF Delete. Now the EGR valve, EGR filter, EGR cooler, EGR throw pipe, intake swirlers, and DPF has been fully and completely removed from my 2014 CJAA TDI car. The only thing is my CJAA TDI never had a DEF system. My CJAA TDI is now completely and 100% emissions free.
You reinstalled the cross member right?

Just started the weight loose project on my '14. So far only have things unplugged. Ordered a Monster RAM from Banks, then need to do 4" exhaust with a small muffler down stream. question I have is if the DEF gauge shows empty after the removal, did the computer freak out, or does your computer no longer care. My DEF is still hooked up (Module on top of the DEF tank), everything else for emissions is unplugged. Love the videos, short and sweet and to the point, well done!!! Awesome videos. I have a 2014 Mega cab and am doing some of these same mods. My 2014 has the g56 trans but my 2012 has the 68rfe. I am getting ready to do the revmax billet valve body and pan on it. Your videos help very much.

Shibby plug kit comes with the cap for that DEF line so it doesnt leak
I have the shibby kit. I’ll have to take a look at the kit to see if i have a cover for that.
My truck is stock and I wanted to delete the def tank. So how do you convince the computer to not put you in limp mode by pulling the tank out?

no when i had it tuned years ago the gauge reads full. So i dont have any weird messages on the dash.
You’re supposed to tune your truck before doing anything like this. Your truck will thank you. Just did my ez lynk install today. It was so easy no cable no nothing just plugged it in like if I was reading a code. Tomorrow we start the egr delete and exhaust
i deleted my truck a few years ago and still have the tank full nothing but dead weight in my truck 😤

There is plenty of room horns a compressor or whatever you’d like to put up there. I just removed it for good.

Allllrighty fellas lol just did this yesterday after stumbling across the video and now my damn fuel gauge is not working right. It says it’s full but I know damn well it ain’t 😂 anyone else?? Wouldn’t think the def system has anything to do with that. Don’t know if there is a plug or sensor I jacked up in the process though

Yes you can. The weight loss tune will disable it

no but ive moved it a few times. id say its well over 200 lbs.

I’ve pulled mine out since it’s not longer needed for anything. It doesn’t do anything for structural integrity.
