Hey, great attempt at the video. You should redo this video.
You don't have to climb under and push up the center. That's all done at the lever. After you PUSH the Lever down and it clicks. THEN you PULL the Levr OUT and that is what locks the center.
I just got mine and it is the best I've had.

Unfortunately I do not have a partnership deal with GCI any more. It's an awesome product though and I highly recommend it still
