We’ll I’m here because I lost my canopy yesterday at El Mirage , I just wished I would have watched this video before . R.I.P to a $275 ez up that was only used once before. Best video on YT
long time craft vendor here - the long guys are great IF you have room and are on dirt, we show on pavement often so we use 5 gallon buckets of water ratchet strapped running up the leg to the tops of the leg , also in high winds a pair of straps forming an x in the sides helps reduce the twisting action we like the commercial type canopies with the center lift pole to us it seems to be stronger-but lower headroom. Pool noodles in the corners of the top helps shed water also. ALWAY stake or weight down guys we like the doggy augurs best with the ratchets . we once saw a canopy Sucked up AFTER a storm 200ft up flipped over and dropped on a car !!!! be safe and have fun
@@FindingOurAdventure Wow I can't believe those are strong enough and staying in the ground. So what is keeping the cover from flying off the frame? I see you were reinforcing something inside the cover but I couldn't tell what that was about.
Thank you 🙏 Brother. We just started living Van 🚐 Life & this is exactly what I was looking for. Something durable & freestanding so we can use it for multiple purposes. New Subscriber. I always support the very few people that put out quality content. 🍻 👊 🇺🇸 stay safe & stay free

30 mph winds is cute
Great stuff dude. I get you thought of being an engineer at some point
The link goes to an unavailable product, and I can't find a similar 12x12 canopy with the cross bars and adjustable legs on Amazon. Any updates?
I just now went right to it...
Did you use any special stakes? Are the guy lines attached to the frame or to the cover?

My problem is getting it set up in the wind. It's impossible.
They had many hands helping, probably holding it until they got it staked out
Did those guy outs come with it?
@@FindingOurAdventure good to know!
The link goes to a 6x6 canopy that does not go to the described canopy
First link took me straight to 12x12. Looks flimsy. Looks flimsy on the video.
It's a bit windy!!!
Not sold anymore. Don't waste your time
