Thanks alot for letting me know! Still love ours! I've even added some wall kits to it that make it even better! Guess i should hit up Eurmax for an affiliate link!! 😀
Just ordered one off of Amazon Prime for the Fourth of July gathering! Will let my husband see video once it arrives so he will know what to do when setting up. Thanks for demonstration. Really helps.
That is awesome!! Ya be sure and stake it down. It can still fly away!!! The difference is if it DOES get blown over the frame will most likely be fine and you can just roll it back into place! (That happened to us once)
I know this is a pretty oldish video but Good Gosh man, what a fantastic video. You really should have gotten that shelter for free from the company. You really show it all! Thanks
Haha thanks!! I feel i can stay more objective on my reviews when i purchase them myself and actually use them for a while. I am currently trying to get a custom top and new walls for it. When i do I'll probably do a 2 year review update. It's still going strong and i love it! Thanks for watching and the kind comment!! 🤜🤛

If you want it to survive strong winds, you'll also want to stake down the upper four corners as well. My first canopy took flight with only the four legs staked down... I use 3/8"x18" piece of rebar with a washer welded on top as a stake, and a set of ratchet straps hooked onto the lower truss' corner. With the sides on, It survived 50mph winds without flying away. Though the windward leg bent inward a small amount.
Haha funny you should mention tying down the upper corners! This very thing happened last year and destroyed this canopy! We replaced it with a Eurmax Premium model. We did a video on what happened! I fully agree with your assessment!!
Woah thanks a ton!! We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know! We just used it again the last two days. Probably our 6th or 7th use while camping! Still fantastic!
What I’m looking for is a canopy that is durable, made with the material like what the bag is made of. The type of canopy you would have had 30 years ago. Thick material that would last left up all year, for years with sun, rain, snow, and wind. Plus it will stay waterproof. The material that’s on this is thin and the sun will destroy this in 4 months.
Most likely! Looks like you're looking for another product. We got a steel roof shelter for our deck that we leave up year round. It's been working great!
Just bought my second Eurmax both have octangle legs, he is correct this is A BEAST! I love, love love it and I can even put it up all by myself, its heavy but it's also "heavy duty".
That is awesome!! I've considered those legs! There's a hexagonal one as well!! Luckily the standard legs have been sufficient!! Thanks for watching and leaving a great comment!!
@@DMSAdventures ROFL I am apparently math impaired, my tent legs are in fact hexagons...oh gosh I am silly! I have had the one tent for about 7 years, needed to expand so bought an ABC tent, legs bent after two uses and the company won't back them up. So I bought another Eurmax, now I have to figure out what to do the ABC one.
Did you know they have gutters so if you put 2 Eurmax canopies next to each other you can connect them so they won't get any rain/water falling between them! We got a new video coming out this Saturday talking about some accessories for the Eurmax. You should come back and check it out!!
@@DMSAdventures I should explain that I am a vendor and use this for my business. I just put my business name on both tents this afternoon with HTV. No more banners to put up.
I own the 10x10 KIng Canopy, and have inspected the Eurmax and ABC Canopies. They are all nearly identical and I suspect they come from the same manufacturer. The only difference seems to be the nicer case from Eurmax, the better top cover from ABC Canopy. and the slightly higher frame hardware from Eurmax. All three are heavier duty than most, just as this video indicates. If you find the prices identical (and you might not) I would go next time with the Eurmax. Thanks for the video.
Thank you very much for checking us out and subscribing!! We are always excited to have a new member of Ye Faithful Few!! I hope the shelter works out for you! It is awesome!
If you were to anchor the legs and the upper corners down the frame would probably last quite a while. The canopy itself though would probably degrade and fade pretty quickly in the sun. You could replace the canopy top as needed if you really wanted to. Officially they do NOT recommend leaving these up permanently. We only put ours up 5 or 6 times a year for a few days at a time.
Come to think of it... mine did too. I actually wanted to get some use on it before i reviewed it. They recommend taking it off to store it but.... i never do. Probably decrease the lifespan of the fabric. If love to get a custom DMS Adventures top for it though eventually!! Thanks for watching and commenting!! 🤜 🤛
what type of material besides waterproof is the roof canopy....i usually get two yrs or so before my roof starts tearing just by stretching it over the poles....the sun beats it up and wears it down...I like the frame design but I don't want to replace the roof in a few seasons....great video
The canopy fabric is a CPAI-84 fire retardant certificated 500D polyester PU coated to block about 99% of UV rays. What will the longevity be? Not sure. The replacement cost for the canopy top is $80 of its the first thing to go. I don't think that's TOO bad! Hey thanks for your comment!!
Agreed, the custom top we ended up getting is a little bit thicker. Removing the top before folding in the legs will go a long way for keeping the top in good condition. 👍
Thank you for taking the time to put together this amazing video! It's helped convince me that I made the right choice in ordering this for my weekly market events. Just curious what your thoughts are on putting this beast up alone. I'm a small 5'0" woman and worried about set up. I was considering going with the lighter canopy for this reason, but it's windy here all the time, so I just ordered this one. Also curious what you think about their leg water weights? Are they worth it?
You are very welcome! I'm glad it was helpful!! Yes, you can get it up alone. You just need to be patient. You basically walk around it 5 or 6 times pulling the legs out from each other a little at a time. Be sure to put the canopy on BEFORE you have the frame all the way open. Get under the tarp once it's on and secure the canopy top to the frame with the velcro straps, THEN extend the legs to their full height one at a time. It's ok if the canopy sits a little off kilter while you do this, the frame can handle it. I haven't used the water weights as I've always been able to stake in the ground, but I imagine they'd be pretty good! Good luck with your market events!! 😁
Heavy rain is nothing for it. Wind is always the killer of these things and if you stake it down AND tie down the corners from the top it will stand up to considerable winds. Far better than the easy-ups from Walmart!

Love this video- very helpful review! Quick question on the canopy- I love that it's waterproof and was wondering how well it sheds water. The wind has always been a problem with other canopies, and I've always had problems with ponding as well.
Hey thanks for stopping by and dropping a question!! The peak on this is so high that i can't imaging you ever having ponding on the canopy. I NEVER have. If you get the one with the awning like we have, that part WILL pond water. In fact i don't think I'm going to use it anymore! ( The awning that is. )

wow, excellent video!! They should pay you. question can you store the awning and back wall in the rolling bag? Or needs to be separate bag. Again bravo on a great informational video
Thank you so much!! The top and the awning and the poles all fit in the rolling bag. The 4 walls have their own bag that they just stuff into. Hey thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment!!
Hey great question! I don't want to definitely say NO because i haven't tried it. I THOUGHT about trying it but the velcro of the two pieces of fabric would have to share the same location. So where the awning is velcro'ed the wall would not be. So you'd have to pull the awning outside of the wall between the pieces of velcro for the awning. i don't think it would be a very secure hold for the wall. Next time I have it up I'll look more closely to see if its a possibility.
@@DMSAdventures I might be able to add a few Velcro straps the would go over the frame and then the wall could be hung/attached by them. I have an associate degree in mechanical drafting and a bachelors degree in IA secondary education. I’ll let you know what I come up with.

Just got another 10x10 to add to my other 10x10 we do events and for some reason the canopy seems to be way to tight and doesn't operate correctly. I can get the middle pole to come down any. Took it apart several times to see what I could find wrong. Not for sure but it seems the canopy is to small any help would be appreciated
Have you called Eurmax customer service? I've only had trouble with the middle pole NOT coming down once. I just kept at it till it did. I've never had an issue with the top canopy not fitting properly! I certainly haven't taken it apart so you got me there. Did you see they have a gutter that will connect between the 2 canopies so you don't have rain dripping between the 2 of them?
@@DMSAdventures Lol I didn't take the frame apart. The frame is to big are the canopy is way to small What I meant to say is I started over a few times trying to see if I was doing something wrong. I have another one just like it and goes together pretty quickly with no problem
Great video. Looking for a good canopy for pop-up market events but this is a little pricey. Maybe when I can afford a custom topper I'll splurge. Thanks for the info! P.S. Do you think you can spray the sides with something to waterproof them?
Check current prices maybe but ya its up there. It'd be great for events like that!! The custom option is awesome!! Yes absolutely! I plan on spraying them eventually!! Thanks for the comment!! We appreciate it!! 😀
Packed away it is 64" long x 12" wide x 12" thick. (162.5 cm x 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm) Lay your back seats down and then use a tape measurer to see if you have that 64" length when you are 12" above the floor. You could maybe get a cheap piece of plywood or maybe get a large piece of cardboard and cut it to 64" x 12" to see. Good luck!
@@DMSAdventures thanks a lot. I so love your video. It sold the Eurmax canopy to me. I'll do the measurements to see . If it works, I'll definitely order it. Thanks again
Hey there Andy, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the legs or the upper frame when you say "supports"? There is nothing on this canopy model that is hexagonal.
The Standard model legs are steel and square, the Premium is steel and hexagonal, the Pro is aluminum and hex and the Beyond is aluminum and octagonal.
Hey there Austin i just realized your comment was on the Eurmax shelter and NOT the Magellan tent that just posted today. YES the Eurmax is 100% waterproof with the top shell. We had a full day and a half of rain and it didn't leak from above. The sidewalls however are NOT waterproof and will soak through eventually. Sorry for the mix up!!
I had to do a little digging, because the design is near identical to Impact brand canopies… oddly, the two headquarters are only 40 some miles from each other in CA. Not sure if that’s coincidence or not. I have an Impact for a race day tent and love it… mostly because of the same frame design that you have showcased here
That IS interesting. I wonder if they source their material from the same places! Probably likely!! Ya we still love this canopy. We did an update Video showcasing a custom canopy top! It's awesome!!
I respectfully disagree. Even with the walls up it resists wind very well. The one i bought has done very well and the ones that i saw resisting the wind are the reason i DID by it.
Luckily i haven't had any problems with mine yet! It WOULD be nice if they were treated for rain. They just soak up the water and leak through. Thanks for commenting!! 😀
I've had this for over 2 years and in a full day of heavy rain... i still don't get it. It performed great. But hey we all have different experiences with gear.

Awesome! We are so glad it was helpful!! Thanks for letting us know!! 😀
At that HIGH PRICE it should be COMPLETELY WATERPROOF!
Ya not sure why they don't treat the walls! Seems like it'd be simple enough!
No canopy like this is 100% waterproof, not even the top. NOBODY seals the many seams that are used to construct it.
Sooo....Which Eurmax 10x10 is this? They make many!
It is just the Standard. Not Premium Pro or Beyond. Thanks for the question!
@@DMSAdventures Awesome, thanks!!!
Is the wall included?
Generally speaking, yes it is. But always be careful on Amazon listings.
Can I get a link to this please?
This is the exact one i got but you could pick a different color if you like. Eurmax 10 x 10 Pop up Canopy... www.amazon.com/dp/B087J3MRTM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It is a beast, but sure does seem to go up well...and well constructed too. Make sure you let your kids know that Otis I and I missed them! :-) Hope you are all keeping well and everyone is enjoying a wonderful weekend!
Haha you're the 2 nd person to comment about missing the kiddos! I know they're the stars!! They'll be in the next 5 videos in pretty sure!! Yup great weekend here, hope it's super nice up there in the great white north!! 😀
Otis you said? ... I cannot thank you (or your ancestor) enough for inventing the elevator.
The frame is to big are the canopy is way to small
What I meant to say is I started over a few times trying to see if I was doing something wrong. I have another one just like it and goes together pretty quickly with no problem
Ah gotcha! Did you try putting the 1st canopy on the 2nd frame? Still might want to reach out to Eurmax!
@@DMSAdventures I'm sending it back
Thank you!!!
Your welcome!! 🤜🤛
What if you’re setting up on concrete
They have both water weights and sand weights you can attach to the legs!
You need to link it in comments for Amazon so yo7 can get credit when people buy it through your link!
Ya i used to do affiliate links. I don't use them anymore as i wish to be as objective as i can!!
Pls will this fit in my car, a Kia Sorento. I don't have a truck.
That's awesome!! Glad to be a help!! 😀
I thought they had hexagonal supports instead of square. Would that be a different model or am I mistaken?
Hey there Andy, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the legs or the upper frame when you say "supports"? There is nothing on this canopy model that is hexagonal.
The Standard model legs are steel and square, the Premium is steel and hexagonal, the Pro is aluminum and hex and the Beyond is aluminum and octagonal.
@@An9eL_C Thank you for jumping in and providing the information! We appreciate it! I didn't even know they had so many options!
Thanks very helpful
You are very welcome! Thanks for checking in with us and leaving a comment!!
Purchasing mine from Costco.
Awesome! I hope you got a great deal!!!
@@DMSAdventures they are out of stock. I spoke too soon, lol.
Haha oh man!! Thats a big bummer!!
100% waterproof??
Hey there Austin i just realized your comment was on the Eurmax shelter and NOT the Magellan tent that just posted today. YES the Eurmax is 100% waterproof with the top shell. We had a full day and a half of rain and it didn't leak from above. The sidewalls however are NOT waterproof and will soak through eventually. Sorry for the mix up!!
Good deal - thanks!!!
Worthy!
Well thank you kind sir!! 🤜🤛
ABC Canopy Is very very similar to this Canopy Company.
Oh ok! Not sure that I've heard of them!! It's always good to have options!
2:36
.... What about 2:36?
they are not worth a crap when there is wind
I respectfully disagree. Even with the walls up it resists wind very well. The one i bought has done very well and the ones that i saw resisting the wind are the reason i DID by it.
First like 👍
Thanks! That's 2 in a row i think!

Awww that's too bad... though not uncommon.
At least I helped the channel by commenting 😜
Every little bit helps!! 🤜🤛
Wall panels are junk, the first set was heavy thick, and lasted years. There are trash bags better than these new ones.
Luckily i haven't had any problems with mine yet! It WOULD be nice if they were treated for rain. They just soak up the water and leak through. Thanks for commenting!! 😀
Look, another expensive huge water balloon!
Not sure i get it but... mmkay!
@@DMSAdventures First heavy rain "You'll find out"
I've had this for over 2 years and in a full day of heavy rain... i still don't get it. It performed great. But hey we all have different experiences with gear.
Yes, get to the point all we want to see is a review
