I use the Missile Baits Spunk Shad and, I have had good success with it as a trailer. The ZMan Baby Goat and other ZMan plastics tend to slip down the hook shank unless you are using a bait with a wire keeper.

I'm amazed at what new technology has come out. Would be great looking around and seeing what's really down there. Also watching bedding fish and see how they react. On navionics+ can you set multiple fish ranges? I know on phones and tablet I have that option. Just trying to decide between c-map that came with my lowrance hook reveal 7 tripleshot or buy navionics + I'm used to navionics on my cellphone and tablet and am very unsure how the reveal 7 stores maps? If it's just on the SD cards only or if it has an internal memory so I could load up one set of maps to internal memory and run a 2nd set of maps off of the SD Card?

Surely the fishing is better than the Bassmasters classic on the Ohio River many year's ago. If I recall correctly, that was their lowest final weigh in up to that point.

You did not answer the question. You set it based on the weight of the line you are using. If you have 8# line you want to set it so the fish cannot break the line but you did not explain that or show how to do it. I wish my buddy Dave was still alive cuz I forgot the exact details but for (example) 8lb line you set the drag to slip on 5lb of resistance so that when the fish takes a bunch of line it will only slip at 8lbs when the spool gets smaller and has a lower gear ratio. The only reason I'm watching is to refresh my memory on exactly what weight to use (or use a fish scale)
