    Im about to embark on my first ever attempt at brick work, making a planter. This has been super helpful and didnt assume any prior knowledge on the viewers behalf (because I have absolutely none 😂) no idea if I'll get it right but I feel more confident now

    Mm i to understand that the perps and the bed shouldnt have gaps as this can lead to water ingress and problems with expansion ice water freezing etc . . that middle brick you layed and kinda filled in to my eye didnt look as though you actually filled it in properly with enough mortar?
    ive been looking at lots of brick laying on here and im just trying to see if ive digested it all as im going to attempt to lay some planters soon
    no offence intended mate i just wanna be sure
