This video is about how to make a brick planter with a built in soak away. This planter is built out off reclaimed bricks
The bait pump would be great but for one thing, the way the handle fits to the shaft, that nut on the handle will tear into your hand with constant pulling of the shaft.
Thanks for sharing
Very cool. Excellent. Thank you
Is it possible to fit a 15mm ? Inner pipe to extract heat from a 54mm hose ?
Nice one mate
I like what you done.. but one question why do you have a pvc pipe in the center???
Thank you. I am going to try this.
Can you do this without the concrete? I want to do this without messing with concrete. Anyone know? Beautiful planters though! Love it ❤
This so cool and with all the crazy things happening nowadays, it's a must have! Great survival tool for prepping! Thanks for sharing!
That threaded bar looks as bent as a lighthouse staircase
Bravissimo e lavoro magnifico
Why do you put a bottom on this? What is the point?
Nicely done. you make it look easy, but I know it is not.
he looks high
Do you put soil in the soakaway?
They look lovely and really well made. Is the soakaway absolutely necessary do you think?
Excellent mate, im going home to make one and save £25 Thankyou😊
how powerful of a pump are you using in the pond?

I don’t see the point of concreting the base. Just lay footing for the wall. Now you have a barrier at the bottom of your planter and no earth worms can migrate into your planter soil. The reclaimed brickwork and pathway looks spectacular though!
I’m interested to know where you got the bricks? I am looking for similar ones with a lovely variety of colours.
How much would one of theses cost to make
Very nice exactly what i needed cheers
That's awesome, thanks for showing us that. Never knew about those fittings.
Thanks mate!! Finally I have found what to do with all those pellets Inhave recycled after shooting my airguns.
I just watched this at 4.15am in the uk. This is what my life has become. 😁 P.s I'm now on the way to the shed to make one 😉 #livinglifetothefull 🙃
Do I have to use concrete or can I lay directly on soil? I want to make large deliminated beds but less high than those on the video but wider. I have a large bedding for vegetable but hard to get to the vegs on each side. So wanted to section it in portion by bricks and in between some stones. Thought bricks will be more resistant than wood beams.
Why are you using rubber gloves???
Great idea, love it , golden rule don't waste money, just one thing if you turn the plunger around it will fix in to the tube easier and you wouldn't need to cut the tube at all, but still top marks thirty quid saved.
Great watch, thank you.
Modifications: chuck attachment, centering cone, mounted on opposite end of work piece, wired/plug in speed controller…
Cool video mate. 👍👍👍
Absolutely brilliant.
Really great work
Do have to concrete the base? I thought dirt is better than concrete as concrete creates heat.
Im about to embark on my first ever attempt at brick work, making a planter. This has been super helpful and didnt assume any prior knowledge on the viewers behalf (because I have absolutely none 😂) no idea if I'll get it right but I feel more confident now
You didn’t need the cement base cause now you have poor drainage
So just put them down naturally? Just wondering if like to do something like this! But cost efficient ya know 😊😅
@@chelseahopkins8475 you only put cement where you lay down bricks also watch videos on doing a retaining walls since it’s a similar process
Bro I read your comment watch the video and could not believe he did that 😂. Like BRO
lovely lookin bricks those!
Beautiful
Excellent video, thanks. This is probably a stupid question, I don't have much DIY experience. Is there a cover over the main vertical pipe before the earth goes in?
Will the lead not stick to the pipe at all? So there is no need to coat the inside of the pipe with grease?
No it will not because of two main reasons one lead merely canot stick to other metals without a specific process and the other reason is thta when you mold any metal or lead it will shrink by 2% after cool down so there's not contact or bond remaining between two metals
Liked n subbed.. Top Job..
Thanks so much 👍
I heard that you have to add some kind of layer of treatment for outdoor bricks to protect them from moisture and moss growth. Is there any kind of brick treatment that is safe for a vegetable garden bed?
From Illinois, USA. Thank you for making this video. I enjoyed watching it. You made it look easy but I am not fooled. I still think I have the skills to really screw it up.
What do you use this for?
distillation of clandestine moonshine, of course.
It can be used in distillation, or any other time you are trying to move heat from one liquid to another
This was the exact question on my mind
that was so cool.
it's getting more effective made the inner pipe twisted
🎉❤ absolutely brilliant. ..cheers buddy
