    I am Bodh Raj Thakur, I reduced my thyroid from 12.26 to 6.2 by yoga practice of breathing and Asana... It's amazing for me, I used medicine just for 10 days...I conducted my testing on 25/07/2021...after 3/months sometimes I missed yoga but even the result is Great... Jai Shree krishna

    First of all, thank you so much for sharing your yoga posture. I had a problem with my thyroid and it was 14.35 from that time I used to practice yoga daily in the morning time at least 20 minutes. Today I checked my thyroid it's 4.30. Now I am really happy. These postures are working and admirable. I have one question if I will discontinue yoga then again thyroid will be increased or not?

      Keep going. I think you should try and reduce TSH even further. Somewhere around 2-3. Never quit yoga/exercise as it's just 15 minutes a day, do one form or the other. Good luck and well done! 💜

      @@user-wp3ne3vj8f You cant heal thyroid disease completely but you can manage it so it doesn’t get even worse. I will try this yoga along with medication and I will tell you if it works or not.

    I am 69 years old and I can't do Sarvangasana and Halasana. Rest I can manage.

      Hello Ms Armaity, thank you. I am glad you are finding the videos helpful. As a substitute, you may practice Vipreet Karni by taking support of a wall. You can place a pillow under your buttocks and have the legs up on the wall.

    Thyroid can be healthy but you may still have thyroid problems. Thyroid problems are because of poor diet and gut where the inactive thyroid (T4) can not be converted to active form (T3). Check DR Berg videos where he discusses auto immune disease and insulin resistance.

      Hi Bhavna, you can alternatively do the Rabbit pose or Sasangasana. It compresses the thyroid gland in a similar way as halasana and is beneficial for regulating thyroid imbalance.

      Boil 2 tsp of coriander seeds in 2 glass of water, boil it 1 glass, drink this water in morning for empty stomach,
      Do thyroid yoga regularly, sleep atleast for 8 hours, avoid meat, eat nuts, one egg every day, be stress free..., your thyroid will be regulated, avoid taking allopathic medicine..,

    Idk how, it truly works. I've never been a yoga enthusiast. I've never obeyed that yoga can cure hyperthyroidism. But it does. I recognised that I'm a patient of hyperthyroidism or grave's disease. Was so frightened, scared that what will happen next. Cause I'm a teenager, and going through medications is such a big challenge for us to continue it lifelong. Started yoga from the day before yesterday, got some results as the gland itself stopped to grow bigger. Thank you😀

    There is hyperthyroidism & Hypothyroidism.. which one are you referring to? Both need different approaches!

    Hi Bharti, I’m 32, female and I just found out I have small goiter. My thyroid hormones are normal but I have a starting cyst (goiter) and I am under medications to shrink the cyst. Is this yoga helpful to shrink the goiter?

    Bharti i can't do Halasana fully.i can't bring my leg near the head. Only i can do till 90 degree. Because my weight is 77 .what can i do pls tell me. I am Indian.

      Hi there! So I have kept the order in which a full yoga class normally progresses. You start with warmup (cat cow serves that) followed by backbends and ending with calming forward folds. If follow this order you will find it easier and there will be less chances of injury :)

      Hi Asma, yes you can do these asanas to help control thyroid. It is best the get the condition under control before you start trying to conceive.       Hi, yes it is preferable to do it in the morning on an empty stomach. If you do it in the evening, you must wait for at-least 4 hours after eating to do the practice.

      Elluru Nikhilakumari hi Elluru, you should warm up your neck with some neck rotations before practicing. Also you can try doing Matsyasana ( fish pose) after halasana to counter the neck compression

      Hey, yes these are safe for hypothyroidism. These are ok as long as you are not already pregnant. For early pregnancy asanas like bhujangasna and halasana should be avoided as they put pressure on the abdomen. You can safely do cat cow stretch and camel pose with the support of yoga blocks ( see my video - yoga for morning sickness | first trimester yoga)
