Hi alex... although they call "hotel" i prefer call that room as "motel" / "guest house".... .tht just for an hour for backpacker/whom for waiting something/someone in that area...
6:40 FYI: The building which is colored gold is called Indonesia Satu Towers. The status is now on hold and the height will be 303 meters when it's finished. Will become the tallest twin tower in Jakarta and even Indonesia.
I dont think its that bad plus you had your own bathroom and entire room its clean, i would probably give a shot to stay there ☺️ thanks for sharing btw what is the name of that hotel ??
tbh for me this hotel is pretty cool, since i am neither big nor tall, it'll be perfect for a single room. I mean $11 (+ - Rp. 160.000,00) for the facility and the cleanliness it quite worth the price in my opinion, not to mention it has AC and wifi . Not too cramp like capsule hotel, not too exspensive for a single room, it is nice, especially if you want a room for a day that has good facility and a quite cheap price point. it is such experience. although we can agree that the view isn't the best. And yeah, i would stay here for the experience. Thanks for sharing about the place.
Thats pretty decent budget hotel in jakarta, and have a price $11 per night in jakarta is difficult to find. cons are the space in the room is small & located in the alley, pros are the room is quite cheap, clean, and digitalized (only need scan QR code). I'm interest with rooftop view, able to have coffee break & enjoy JKT view, its priceless. What is the name of this hotel? What is the street name? Living in jakarta is not really that cheap if we compare it with other cities surrounded it i.e. depok, bogor, bekasi, tangerang. btw, terima kasih for sharing the experience, i hope you enjoy Indonesia. :)
Oh here is an idea. I know exactly where that small room place is and it is just 5 mins walk from the Tanah Abang market one of S.E. Asia’s largest textile markets. Stroll around the markets and head for the rooftop of Tanah Abang market. Pay a little money to the security guard and go on the very top rooftop for some stunning views of Jakarta. Then, later head behind the Tanah Abang market and go through all the tiny alley ways where so many communities reside toward the railway tracks. See the diversity of this city just a few mins from the center of the CBD of Jakarta. This would make a far more compelling vlog.
The most important things are safe & clean. The smallest room that I have tried was around 12 m2 in China Town, Singapore. Good job with the video, simple but entertaining 👍.
a great follow up video would be to stay in a capsule hotel! Bobobox is a great one to try. Also I happen to stay on the other tower of the same apartment block, feel free to ask anything if you have content inspiration!

This is great! Me and my partner live in a 10m square tiny house in New Zealand. At least we have a mezzanine floor, heaps of decking, and an amazing view because it's up 70 stairs! 😂
My favorite vlogger rn 💓
Always waiting ur next vlog
thank you Melan!! 😁🙌🏻
The views just keep going up! Super hyped for you dude! Sending good vibes from NYC as always 🤙🏽
thanks so much Frayn! appreciate you watching 😁🙌🏻
Your TH-cam channel will get a lot of viewers if you make a video about Indonesia, because the Indonesian people are one of the biggest smartphone & internet users in the world 😀
Appreciate everyone watching 🙌🏼
Well done as usual. Excellent find for budget accommodations.
Thank you Michael!! 😁
Nice and clean that's nò 1✔
cleanliness is always priority no 1
Besides Airbnb, you can try to use Traveloka, Agoda or OYO when searching for accommodations.
yeah i've used those before too!
Well im in jakarta why would i go to hotell, except my aunt has a ticket for the tallest hotel in indonesia, but my parent doesnt allow me due to covid, im so sad
what is tallest hotel in jakarta?
Westin jakarta, kinda expensive tho, but my aut has a special membership card so she had little discount for it
3:35 Yes this is much bigger than capsule hotel - and cheaper. If one is out most of the day and wants clean bed at the night, perfect 👌
Well it is better than my college dorm room.
better than mine was too haha
I dont mind the space when i travel. It is just a place to sleep. But cleanliness is important. I like how they offer all the amenities you can get for sucha cheap price!
$11 for this.. wow its very money friendly and clean hotel
Agreed thanks for watching Haidar!
Really couldn’t see the point of a first time visitor to Jakarta to do a video about a small hotel room!
Jakarta is a massive up and coming mega city! It’s dynamic and diverse with some amazing areas to discover. Not to mention on its doorstep has some amazing paradise islands!
Tolong terjemah bahasa Indonesia
Sya orang Indo gak ngerti yg diomongin 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Subtitle bahasa indonesia akan ditambahkan akhir pekan ini

Hey Alexander, please do all the males of the world a favour and pay a visit to B.A.T.S at the Shangri la. It will be epic!
theres no way i can visit all the malls lol
@@alexandwhite it’s not a mall. It is an institution every expat who has lived or worked in Jakarta knows intimately well. I know guys who fly 1/2 around the planet to visit B.A.T.S
@@gregdarcy7494 surely both BATS is still closed, will have been since around year ago?
I know apartement there, Taman Anggrek Residence, Mediterania Residen 1 and 2
yes thats the area!
" this is gonna be a very quick room tour " 😂😂😂
I tried making it longer haha
Very interesting, looks really clean and comfy, think I'll give it a try for a staycation only.

Welcome to Jakarta, feels like years ago since foreigners travel and made a video here in Jakarta, glad you’re here, and showed up in the video suggestion.. enjoy Jakarta bro
going to be making several videos here! 😁
GO TO MASJID ISTIQAL "don't wear shorts" "before you enter the Istiqlal mosque you must perform "wudhu" before entering" ,
thanks for the recommendation! 🙌🏻
Hi alex... although they call "hotel" i prefer call that room as "motel" / "guest house"....
.tht just for an hour for backpacker/whom for waiting something/someone in that area...
Cuma mau bilang sebentar lagi kita akan memasuki bulan suci ramadhan
Semoga kalian sehat selalu sehingga bisa melaksanakan ibadah puasa.. Aminn.❤

6:40 FYI: The building which is colored gold is called Indonesia Satu Towers. The status is now on hold and the height will be 303 meters when it's finished. Will become the tallest twin tower in Jakarta and even Indonesia.
Nice bro, if you want to increase your subscriber ,put subtitle indonesian language on it,thanks
my translator doesn't do them til the weekends! but the new videos already have them 😁🙌🏻
I dont think its that bad plus you had your own bathroom and entire room its clean, i would probably give a shot to stay there ☺️ thanks for sharing btw what is the name of that hotel ??
Great place to stay if you’re a traveler who spends most of your time exploring and just need a safe and clean place to sleep. 👍🏾
the small capsule room and alley way brings me back to Japan and Vietnam days! 💕
tbh for me this hotel is pretty cool, since i am neither big nor tall, it'll be perfect for a single room. Thanks for sharing about the place.
haha not the best view but good enough for sleeping and very affordable
@@alexandwhite exactly XD
Thanks for sharing your lovely video to everyone, the room is so small but clean , it’s ok for 1 night, nice to see you happy.
I think you must to visit Kepulauan Seribu, there are tourist attractions near Jakarta, I recommended the Pramuka Island or Pari island
That’s a small one. But, my friend stayed in the smaller one, in Jakarta. Lol. At least everything proper.
The most important things are safe & clean. The smallest room that I have tried was around 12 m2 in China Town, Singapore. Good job with the video, simple but entertaining 👍.
Of course! Just for sleeping after sight seeing all day. It's nice, clean and modern. Welcome to Jakarta! 🙂
yes! Thank you Indi 🙌🏻
Yes salamat satang di jkt 😁😁😁
try visiting the city of Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang.
You should try to spend a night in Bogor, there's a lot of resorts there from the cheap one until the expensive one.
Your jakarta videos will be a huge success
a great follow up video would be to stay in a capsule hotel!
Bobobox is a great one to try.
Also I happen to stay on the other tower of the same apartment block, feel free to ask anything if you have content inspiration!
yeah i've heard about bobobox might check it out next!
