Note: it your object (or objects) has (have) more than one material, the same texture node (whit the same image of course) must be created and selected in ALL these materials! Hope that helps!

Even if you are a robot. You are the first "person" (I use that term lightly. Lmao) to tell me to turn metallic off and that why I'm sitting here with 4 completely black textures.
guy sounds like solar opposites. "we need a UV map for this model. we don't have a UV mao for this model. that's right, I've been talking all this time. I'm holding this UV. I'm Korvo, this is my tutorial."
Hello, I have a question. I have a model that I textured, but right after, I noticed that my older unwrapping didn't work well with the model. My texture is drawn, how can I re Unwrap the model with maintaining the old textures? I want to be able to unwrap my model again but want the margins to readjust and relocate to the newer unwrap, is that possible? I am relatively new to blender and know so little.
Yes, it is possible to re-unwrap your model in Blender while maintaining the old textures. Select the model you want to re-unwrap. In Edit Mode, select all the vertices of your model by pressing A. Then, press U to bring up the UV mapping menu and choose "Reset" or "Smart UV Project" if you want Blender to automatically unwrap your model. In the UV Editor window, you can move and scale the UV islands as needed. Since you want to maintain your old textures, make sure that the texture images are still applied to your model.
i'm at the point where you saying to select "overlap" while UV editing, but then you said ''if nothing is selected thats good'' before moving on, but i have some part of my model selected ^^' what am i suppose to do ? ^^
Finally someone explains this in a practical way! thank you!

Ok so the answer seem to be to simply increase the spacing when creating the "smart uv project"
Thanks man!

All Blender tuts only work if you are making exactly the same thing. Mine failed for that reason
Does anybody still bake in vanilla Blender instead of useful baking addons? And bake all maps in couple clicks.
How make this in blender?
