That’s insane for many reasons. Reminds of an r31 skyline with individual carburetors. I would’ve never believed that was diesel.

That on an OM605 would be like...almost as good as an Audi 2.2 I-5 turbo, which as far as I'm concerned is the best sounding engine ever made

Lid off has that 6cyl noise which I prefer but each to their own, cool stuff
I have a 94 E420 with a poorly maintained M119. The body is immaculate but the interior is quite rough due to the sun roof being stuck cracked open. I'm probably going to swap it with a OM606 in the future and get it set to run like a beast. I also have an 87 300D Turbo but the OM603 seems quite limited on parts for modification.
Om603 is very capable of making loads of power
Would be great to see a flow chart, maybe comparing on a dyno, another thing that is rare to see is a equal length intake and exhaust tubular manifold, would be great to see a comparison between them, like stock and billet exhaust but same turbo on both, stock a d billet intake etc... Any plans on direct injection conversions from newer om models?

does it sound different than a standard intake with the boost pipe connected? I really like the looks and the accesebillity to the pump.
I want too know this also. Would be easier if Luke could respond with the answer as Im wanting to buy one. But I won't buy one if its other stuff that's making it a lot louder.
I never notice the intake note once the full intake tract is installed. Especially on any turbocharged with aftercooler. Intake note it mute.

Been woundering, can we put pump and injectors over to a 2jz fse?
Injectors won't fit, pump won't fit at all, pump probably wouldn't survive petrol, engine probably wouldn't survive conversion to diesel, I don't see how it could be done with realistic effort.
