A lot of chatter on pump side is another issue clacking hard once engine is operational temp.
@@DieselPumpUK all straight from factory edc pump. 293xxx milage on engine.glow plugs have been changed in 2012 .no check light.is this a sign of air in the system?

I live 500 meters up to the sea level, when i go to work i drive almost the car cold going down,not acelerated, when i arrives to see level and the highway is plane, i acelerate an amazing amount of white smoke coming out maybe for 30 seconds and then stop... can you advice about what could be? Thanks a lot for your answer.
Great content!, Iv recently got into the 60x world and working on a ford manual adapter plate. Would you use a flywheel from a ford 300 inline 6? I’m thinking it would be better sense it is a zero balance. What’s your opinion?
It’s the oldest tale you can see it coming a mile away. Worst thing is when the customer sends to another pump builder and they play on it, classic. Haha
@@DieselPumpUK I’ve had it before someone sent one to a diesel shop that I’m quite good friends with and who I do Cummins pt pumps for and they rang me up saying somones sent me one of your pumps and it was full of cooking oil😩😂

Fair play for even taking on the pumps built elsewhere and a reasonable price to calibrate , I bought an 8.5mm pump of luke, it’s a work of art 😁

I have not done anything yet.i am in limbo on what to do first. My engine hunts for 2 minutes on cold start then back to operational rpm

Sorry to confuse you.i haven t decided pump rebuild kit or fuel injectors with a 3 bar boost contol sensor?

It's a 6 bolt. You want an 8 bolt flywheel if you are trying to adapt something to a om60x.
