Hey Laurent! Informative review as always.
I just wanted to draw your attention to a small error in one of the graphics. If all 16 phases put out 70A each, then the CPU should be getting 980 amps, and the total available value should be 1,120. You labeled all of the phases as being 70A, but the ones responsible for the CPU add up to 840A or 60A each in the graphic at 14:20.

The only thing I can think of is the number of VRMs; 16 for tuf, 20 for rog.

I learn from my experience cheap PSU can't protect your motherboard from over voltage, undervoltage, over current, power lose and lightning strike.

For me, these features needs to be put in context.
If a manufacturer places an extr feature while missing fundamentals... it's a big nono.
On the other hand, if all the fundamentals are covered and we get extra stuff... it's a kudos !

When you only have 2 sticks, and to activate both memory channels, you place them on position 2 (to activated channel 1l, and position 4 ( to activate channel 2).

    Hi Laurent.
Do you know if this mobo can support a 2x48GB Corsair Vengeance set?
I understand x670E in general now support 48GB RAMs but I wonder if this one too?
I looked up the support page for this mobo and the RGB version of my RAM set is supported, but not the non-RGB (which is the one I'd like to get). I just have this thought that the support page lacks more RAM models listed because they haven't been tested (for example, ROG Strix Gaming has many of 2x48GB model listed as supported, including my model)...

    • @Laurentschoice

It does support 48 as well as long as u update the BIOS.

    • @Laurentschoice

No, that was a graphic for the X670 chipset(s) which only extends PCIe 5 support to the CPU linked NVMe.
On this particular board, even if u use a pcie 5.0 NVMe, you can also use the the full extent of the CPU linked PCIe (5) export.
