Despite its budget pricing , it offers a great engine and should be much more reliable than its costlier rivals . Considering the number of serious recalls affecting kia Hyundai in US and Canada, I would hardly call the sportage high quality. Soft touch plastics is a poor measure of quality.
I have just purchased the scross ultra and have family who are 6 foot 2 inch which fit in with room to spare I part exed a 2015 mazda 3 for this and I have to say my ultra is a far superior and better build quality by far super smooth and nearly silent engine on the motorway it practically drives itself best car I've owned 👌
But for the life of me it won't connect wireless auto I've tried 8 different phones
Suzuki is the best!
It'll probably be reliable and fairly long-lived, as well. Suzuki stuff tends to be durable.
I've just found out after owning the car for a couple of months it only has apple carplay wireless and android auto has got to have a wire but originally I was told from suzuki they both was wireless
Modern yet conventional. Perfect for when you want to know what you're getting!
Trouble with a Peugeot though, is it's French, so it'll be in the garage a lot.
very good review, and since I value value :) I already ordered one, the slightly better competitors are not worth the extra money for me
Too many car reviews don't cover double blower AC and test whether the rear passengers feel comfy, especially with the AC.
Refined, lol. So noisy with wind and tyre noise at 60 mph. Auto was all over the place for me...Probably the worst changer for me in my experience of 50 years
At 9.47 in boot space stats you have Peugeot 3008 wrong as it has 520 litres of boot

For me, S-cross compares more to the bigger B-SUVs than the C-SUVs you mentioned in terms of size, price and refinement. I ordered S-Cross, and I understand that 3008 or Quasqai drive better, but they are much bigger in dimensions and much more expensive even to get the basic trim (3008 is more than 10k difference, at least in my country). So my question is how it compares with B-SUVs, e.g. with 2008 that is on the same size and price (actually s-cross is cheaper in my country, even cheaper than the 2008 base spec and 100hp engine).

Suzuki reliability is worth something and srvice costs are sensible. i miss my old Grand Vitara's tho' but my current S-Cross (CVT ) does everything it is asked to do and excellent fuel economy..

Excellent review but inside is too small for taller persons and rear seat room not good but it's OK I guess,but you did a good job

It used to be a car with its own design vision, now it merged with monotonous buckets with bolts
Suzuki interior hasn’t changed in the last 30 years. same dashboard,seating etc etc. keep the good work up , lv your reviews
They did upgrade the interior to 21st century in the Swift and Ignis. Not in their bigger cars though - it's weird because the mid-range models feel cheaper than the entry-level ones.
