    Suzuiki's are very good value and I have run them for over 25 years ( I was a Grand Vitara fan). currently run a 2015 S-Cross 1.6 petrol CVT and no doubt the facelift(s) give the outside an uplift the interiors have'nt changed much and are very robust.. Funnily enough my CVT version is not that far away from the latest fuel economy figures. By the way reliability has been brilliant on all my Suzukis.

      I have a 2013 manual 1.6. Totally reliable, sx5 very well equipped. Driving under 60 I get 50mpg totally astonishing compared to same size cars

    Best reviewing channel on here. Wish I could afford the cars they review. Mines an sx4 cross 2013 1.6 manual. Fantastic car. 45000 miles totally reliable, very well equipped. Could do with more power but still cruises effortlessly on mway. Its just mid range grunt but is very revvy if required. Mine does 45-50 mpg driven as per the gear change indicator. Hard to believe computer says 51mpg tank to tank 45-50

    Ive been waiting for this review since this car was unveiled last year. I appreciate your as per usual expert views on this, i just wish that there was more of it. Is there a long form version of this review that has the full driving experience and market comparisons? I wanted to know how it compares against the like of a Kia Seltos, Toyota Corolla Cross or Mitsubishi ASX

    Just a passing comment, ordered the “Ultra” version early new year - delivery will be in August (!) quite slow... maybe this is normal? Everything seems to take slow delivery in this current climate

    Very noisy inside with tyre and wind noisy over 60 mph, needs ear plugs. Rest not bad .Auto doesn't like being revved. Tried and tested

      Same here tested for 48 hours and you're basically talking shit.

      absolutely not. It is noisier than current competitors, but whispering compared to my previous cars (golf V, i30). Noise is definitely not the most disturbing drawback here. Fogging front screen is. Otherwise it's great car for its price, very modest in fuel consumption at highway, compared to anything in its price/size class.

    Mild hybrids aren't hybrids at all there a con

    • @mindfreeze0838
      @mindfreeze0838 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      They didnt say it was a full hybrid but a mild one, big difference and I actually prefer those over the full hybrid as full hybrids you lose trunk space, a spare wheel or both.

      Once the battery is empty after first hundred at highway, full hybrid becomes hungry crap driven by very lean petrol engine, even with major energy loss in electrical generator in engine-electric hybrids. This thing at 100mph needs 6.3 liters for 60 miles and still can accelerate. With front wheel drive of course. with 4x4 probably 7.

    full hybrid auto trans gets a 1.5litre engine which is horridbconapred to the 1.4 turbo

      I did notice that the power output is very low, making it a very slow car. That drive train is sourced from Toyota for a much smaller car.
