Always find your reviews raw and honest. Exactly what we need. Easy to relate to. I’m no big fan of too many touch screen and haptic selection, I’m definitely old school.
Fantastic looking motor, coupled with an excellent reliability track record, couldn't go wrong with any of there models , many thanks for your efforts 👍
It’s a shame that you can’t drive the Suzuki from the rear seats Jim, because that rear seating area looks cool 😎! I test drove a Suzuki Caddy once, and found the power steering over assisted, which was a weird choice for such a small van with a high centre of gravity and a narrow wheelbase 🤔. I quite liked this one’s exterior… I’m not a fan of suvs being beefed up if they don’t have the performance to go with it. Great review 👌
Your summary is essentially the Suzuki modus operandi. Whilst all the fancy pants cars look great to begin with, they soon looe their sheen as they start squeeking, getting scratched or you just get used to them. Suzuki's get under your skin, they become something you care for. They're an odd and wonderful experience.
I've just ordered a red Ultra spec one here in Ireland, looking forward to getting it. My current car is a 2021 Fiesta ST believe it or not, but it has been nothing but trouble since day 1 so I just want something that won't stress me out.
I don’t mean to stalk you but I actually own a 64 plate version of this car. It’s a 1.6 petrol and the MPG is rubbish. About 30 ish mpg. I did notice that the dual controls and the auto/sport controls are exactly the same. I guess don’t fix what’s not broken. The steering is very light the model that you are driving. My students love it. Another great video mate. Very honesty. 👍
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru I like the Suzuki but I’m filling it up every 3 days in my job. I don’t need to change this car for a couple of years as it was basically free. Long story but it was my dads car who has sadly passed away. I’ve been toying with the new Peugeot 208. Thoughts ?
@@iankay2547 sorry to hear about your Dad, but my folks are sadly no longer with us. I haven’t tried a 208 but just spent a couple of weeks with the 3008 and was well impressed. Vastly superior to old Peugeots in my opinion.
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru thanks Jim. I’ll look forward to that review then 👍 If you get your hands on a 208 I’d be interested in an honest review. Petrol/diesel or electric ⚡️.
Thank you for pointing that out I was wrong I thought it looked more like a rav 4 in the past but I thought suzuki might have tweaked it a bit I forgot about the across probably because I have never seen one on the road then I looked them up and can see why they start at 45 grand twice the price of a s cross or a vitarra

Thanks a lot Tim, very kind 👍
Was on the fence about getting a Vitara but after watching this video, I plumped for this exact model. Thank you 👍👍
Glad I could help! Great car!
The most informative and clear advice on the Ultra. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
We are ordering one today in greece the GL+ 2wd,it’s a brilliant car in this segment in my opinion.
Yes, very good car

Thank you for your honest review, I'm picking up my s-cross ultra today I chose sphere blue
You chose well Sue 👍
I'm planning to buy one. Do you recommend it after using it for a year?
Great video! Great car too! What could possibly go wrong... it's a Suzuki!
👍👍👍
I'm seriously considering one of these and will decide within the next month.
👍
I got one here in Australia
@@rikij8643 I bought a Kia Sportage GT-line S instead. Better car and better value.
This looks a lot better than the last Suzuki S Cross. Slight shades of the RAV 4 at the rear....
Hi Brian, agreed on both fronts 👍

Steering is light on this but quite nice around town. 👍
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru I like light steering… Hetty the Honda’s is a lot lighter now that I’ve put air in her tyres 😂🤣! 😳
Always helps! 😁
Love all the things you do 👍
Thanks, love that comment 👍
Another interesting review Jim- I quite like the styling of these👍👍
Thanks 🙏
Nice review Jim. I just don't think I would choose a Suzuki for that price range personally 🤔
👍👍👍

I think it’s attractive. It’s a good size width wise for parking in single garages
👍👍 really nice car
Which one do you prefer Jim. The S Cross or the Vitara . Both seem to be biting at each others market share
I haven't had a Vitara yet but am on the list!

@@iankay2547 👍 the 3008 review went live a week or so ago
is it very noisy on highways? thank you
It’s just ok, not the most refined car but not terribly noisy
Is that based on a Toyota RAV4?
No, but the A-Cross basically is.
Any spare wheel option?
No idea
Lots of car companies are rocking a nice metallic red aren't they
Mazda, ford,renualt, even mg.
Yes, it seems to be the new Black...or White...or Silver...
Does it have a spare wheel or space for a spare at least?
No, you can buy a space saver that will fit though.
I think this was based on the last rav 4 a deal to save Suzuki money
It feels entirely different in every way to a RAV4. The one you’re thinking of is the A-Cross.
Across is RAV 4 this is Scross
@Fat man No this car has no relationship to Toyota. The A Cross is a tweaked and rebadged RAV4 PHEV.

Nice car, I recomend it in version AT and AWD, which I think is no longer possible, is it?
That’s what this one is so assume you can - unless they’ve changed the options of course.
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru in Slovenia is not more available since two months, is there?
Just looked on the website and looks like there is no option anymore. Maybe due to parts shortages? Seems odd if not as it’s a great combination 👍
