  • Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is now in its third generation. At least this is what Suzuki claims. But don't be surprised if this SX4 S-Cross looks familiar. The fascia is new (for the third time since 2013). Also the tail lamps are different.

As a Suzuki driver for about 2 years (with a Swift, but having experience with the S-Cross), I find these cars honest, practical and good value for money. They don't offer great design and luxury, but they do the job well and they don't break easily. Their service and repair are also reasonable. I've had experience with other well-known European and Japanese brands and I think that Suzuki is quite fine and much cheaper. And better than other "cheap" brands like Dacia and... Dacia.

and what is luxury, we just add premium word in the front and everyone thinks that is superior. The people around the world, better buy used "luxury" cars then new "on the budget" car. The main problem is in the mindset. Because of that kind of people, the cars nowadays cost as flat with three bedroom (before crisis) that is insane. Like everything in life, people should buy car because of practicality, not because of brand or what will neighbor say.

I went for window-shopping, then Suzuki salesperson tempted me with a spin, why not? I really wasn't prepared for the refinement in 30-mile zone, very impressed. The dampers, wow, is it because it's new I wonder, or my old car is too old? But I'm pretty sure that it's new so the brake is very grabby, but I got used to it quickly. Start-stop is a tad slower than I like. What's getting me the most is the low-down roar, very boomy, though when the speed picks up, it faded - I don't think I'll get used to that. However, though slow, the single-clutch auto box is smoother than my double-clutch renault box - THAT is surprising. Lane-keeping is an intriguing experience, like your instructor returned from 5 years ago and decided you needed help, so I switched it off with a flip on the steering wheel. Pound-for-pound, this is a hybrid of good value (but maybe not good fuel economy). If I went for this, I definitely go for top trim - full fat Suzuki tech and massive glass roof.

Ended up with a mild hybrid vitara. I'd say it's pretty engaging to drive for what it is. Nowhere near my old volvo but then again. It uses half the fuel that my volvo does.

I have a 2023 1.4 Boosterjet Mild Hybrid and im very happy with it. 15,000 miles done so far, trouble-free. It's a fantastic engine and a comfortable ride. Yes, it's no Bond-girl, but the facelift has worked well and it feels well built. I much prefer it to my Jogger and 500x.

The best advantage of this car is the weight. From 1200 to 1300 kg. So it has a good performance (because of the low weight) and can have a very low consumption (with manual gearing naturally). The pricing is, I would say, a bit too high. Should be lower.

Obivously cars in Germany will be more expensive than the same car in , lets say for example, Bulgaria. Its becasue in Germany the consumers have more buying power...thus more expensive products, apartments, services, etc...

I spoke to the PR guy about it. Apparently it's a battle between the PR and marketing, who's going to configure the car. PR wants cool colors, and marketing wants something that's going to be easy to sell afterwards. Grey is inoffensive, they say.

Very weird comment that the previus generation's front looks like "a pig with a muzzle". On the contrary, the previous generation had a very nice front design - by far superior to the new generation. Furthermore - why do you call it "snow lock mode"? Is that your own invention? According to the driver's manual it's simply called "lock mode" (also stated on the knob).
