Just new at the dcs .... this Aircraft is heavy and complicated to fly. I crashed about 1000 x 😅 at the beginning ( task fly destroy and back to base about the first tasks to learn) i wont give up. Keyboard and xbox controller are my tools to fly. Thanks to all to guide us beginners. I hope i can be better 🤟🫡cheers
Following this series, its great and easy to follow ive had DCS for about 2 weeks. two things ive noticed - how did you get your trim cross up in the lower right corner? and i can not get up my communication menu with a \ ? i am playing in vr but even if i start it up on the desktop it still isnt there. I did a "you" and started trying to blow shit up...now im going back to basics....and learning properly and this series seems right on the nail. thanks!!!
Good stuff and I think your opening comment is great! " Hey F'rs" I use that one myself from time to time. Learning to fly the plane is what most skip but turning and maintaining your altitude is not as easy as it looks and requires practice.
That’s it mate, having a solid base understanding of what your aircraft can and can’t do carries over to the more advanced stuff. The instant gratification folk don’t like hearing that though
IMO the fact that the 25T is the aircraft everyone gets for free kinda blows my mind. It can do so much and is pretty durable in hostile invironments. I have even fallen into a very unfortunate situation where I ended up in a dogfight and somehow managed to destroy and return to base for repairs. Granted the ground mission was cut short but I thought I was a goner once I saw 2 hostile aircraft showing up. Good thing they came out separate with a couple minutes separation to give me the best odds.
What a plane! I never touched the FC3 planes, but then came the clickable cockpit mod that brings'em to life. Very interesting to see how different the general approach to air combat in the redfor side. This is a gift! So again, thanks!
When I first started dcs, I skipped the su25t but around 3 months ago i did research into it and it’s fun - hard/challenging (at times with certain ground strikes). Doing good mate :)
The SU-25T and A models are 2 overlooked gems in DCS. Sure they are not sexy like throwing a Hornet or Viper around they sky, they require basic pilot skills like using the rudder for coordinated turns and their weapon systems are very rudimentary. Give me a T model with 16 Vikhor missiles and I am the king of the battlefield. Keep the video coming brother! 👍🙂
Looking good, funny story. I was flying the su33 (first aircraft I bought, I skipped the su25t) but I was in a discord call with my mate, trying to figure out which gauge was the fuel gauge. We didn’t find it and ended up running out of fuel and crashing haha. The joys, was getting a English template. It was just right there just didn’t notice.
Downloaded DCS today as a War Thunder player, and when you said “Yeah I’m going to be maverick shooting people down because I’m good at War Thunder” I was like “yeah no” because my experience of War Thunder ASB with a HOTAS was enough to tell me that flying is hard
Superbly structured videos so far, after watching this 2nd one (already bought a few craft but will practice on the SU-25T for now). Also bought the Warthog and TPR, but I'm struggling with calibrating my delanclip effectively for now without it pinging all over the place) Daft question.....if banking left....then why is it rudder left to keep the altitude? I'd have thought it would be rudder right to counter in order to stay higher? (Can tell i'm a noob)
Check that you don’t have any background light sources behind your computer mate, background light can screw with the sensors and give erroneous readings and cause the head tracking to go crazy. In regards to the rudder inputs, as far as I know and I’m sure there is someone else in here with a better understanding than me but in my mind… when you roll the aircraft into a bank turn the tail end will drop towards the ground due to centre of gravity with engines being in the mid to back end of aircraft so as that happens the tail will begin to drop and cause an adverse yaw condition. By putting in some left rudder in this case it makes the aircrafts tail lift back up to be in the same position as the nose and you no longer have the tail droop so to speak. I hope that made sense? 😅😅
Hey guys, I just started playing DCS with an X-56 joystick and throttle and for some reason I can't look around the cockpit with my mouse or with any setting. Would any of you know why this could be?
@@TorniQuetHD .... I guess the content creator can check this. don't mind you making a buck with the vids, your content is good & very clear, so all credits to you ! just sayin'g too many adds make viewers trigger-happy to switch to other vids ... ;-)
I feel this planes anti Sam missiles are better than the f18. It can use that sam detecting pod and launch the kh missiles. The f18 can't do it like su25t. But su25 is so fragile especially their wheels
It is very capable for sure, i dont know about more fragile mate… it is a flying tank… the hornet is like a piece of tissue paper in terms of taking damage. If you’re smashing the landing gear in I’d say it’s user error on that part not the aircraft. Remember for every aircraft in DCS bar the hornet and tomcat are not designed to take heavy landings. You need to come in shallow and flare to cushion the impact at touchdown, not slam it into the ground like you do on a carrier landing
How do you start so well, then when it comes to the flaps just completely stop saying what buttons you’re pressing?! Ok, we are gonna do all this stuff with the flaps….with our mind powers… ok moving on that’s all the flight checks….
@@lukeyendall Menh. Even in this day and age, potty mouth does turn some people off. So, not gonna be too harsh with him. But with a name like "web weaver" you'd think he'd be used to seeing all sorts of stuff on the net.

So happy i found this channel , great for dcs newbie
Great idea for a series.
Good stuff!
Cheers mate, trying to keep the new players to DCS interested and not to give up to early
Just getting into DCS, and these tutorials are fantastic - well presented and very relaxed.

@@TorniQuetHD It's called Clickable FC3 by RedK0d. can't post the link youtube deleted my last comment.

Thank you for the tutorials! This is extremely helpful for a complete newb
Thank you so much! These setings are looking a bit complicated for the first time. However, you made them easy to understand
Glad it made sense mate, follow along with the series and let me know how you go, I’m trying to make it is brand new player friendly as possible

Flying is hard cos i get 12 fps on min graphics, is there a way to optimize my game? Playing the game through steam btw
Awesome series, i tried for myself many times but i cant see the airway so i miss it every time damn
Wiating for the weapons tutorial, Shkvaal.. have you tried the mig29? Their all great. Cheers
