The Canon GX7 Mark III, which has a terrible AF (don't but it), and the Sony RX100VII....which cost $1300. That's it. On the Hybrid side, there are of course more options, but to my knowledge, none are cheaper or lighter (cause yes, weight is important for vlogging too). Hopefully, I don't vlog.

But since he already dropped it before which causing some obvious cracks on the back, Apple would not replace that for free. Edit: I'm assuming it's free if there's no cracks or evidence of user's fault.
Turns out nifty looking glass phones with rounded edges tend not to fare well in daily use. I’ve dropped cell phones many times, but have rarely dropped cameras. (Dropped a new GFX50S, with the screen out, on forest floor and tweaked the screen. That hurt my feelings but Fuji easily and quickly got it back to me, good as new.) By the way, I’m enjoying the Balcony Period TH-cam videos and appreciate your efforts to keep creating content as we navigate this crisis.

Kai (or anyone else), hoping you see this; Rode VideoMic Go, Fujifilm X-T2. Great combo, right? Yeah, except that you can't turn the volume DOWN far enough. Go to a concert and it just distorts. Same with the internal microphone. Anyone got any solutions for that?

My main gripe with the XT100's video capabilities was that you couldnt change iso during recording. While it is possible to do auto-iso in video mode, you couldn't use exposure compensation while recording either. So you were either stuck at one iso while recording or had no control at which iso you'd use if you use auto. Are these fixed in the XT200? Great video mate cheers.

The faster aperture of the ZV1 is enticing, but the cropped stab and 4k seem to be drawbacks... Also the M50 mkII seems to be on the horizon, so not sure if waiting a few months would be prudent! Well it us $1200 in Australia. Fujifilm is the brand to go for but you might as well pay more and get the xt30 or even XT3. I have put in a lot of time looking for a first camera. Canon m50 or Fujifilm XT30 or XT3 based on budget. At least that is what I am looking at now.
I really wanted to replace my xt30 with this camera because it just looks much better for vlogging but unfortunately, even the 4K looked much worse on this than the 1080p on the xt30.
Replacing your xt30 with this would be a very dumb decision, if you want something better, either go with the xt-4 now or wait to see what the xt-40 brings.
Fuji video AF is NOT just as good as Canon's. Watch a few tests and you'll see in various situations it still drifts in and out of focus where DPAF either wouldn't at all, or would be far less prone to doing so. Fuji has improved considerably, but isn't quite there yet.
Maybe this is just me talking out of my ass, but $699 is a bit high in my mind for "affordable/vlog camera". Then again I come from the days of all the vloggers running around with ELPH 300HSs, so maybe I'm just off the mark.

How good is that tracking auto-focus. I have x-t100 and it technically has that but it's completely unusable. Doesn't lock onto anything.

OhMyBooda this camera is much more inferior, it’s for amateurs and vloggers, the xt30 is for enthusiasts and upcoming professionals.
