- This week I can present to you the full Drive & Sound test with the all new 2015 Audi TT Coupe as the entry level 2.0 TFSI delivering 230 hp and 370 Nm of torque through a conventional 6-speed manual transmission. I drove this car for a full week as you might have followed on Facebook and it really is one of my cars of 2015 so far. The power delivery especially in this front-wheel-drive spec is very strong and you wouldn't believe it "only" has 230 hp. It delivers significantly more sports-car flair than any GTI or Cupra out there and has a terrific interior. Also the transmission is great and the sound sticks out from many other cars on the road. What a great video you've put together there...The reason for the strong power delivery is likely down to the fact that this MK3 is a seriously light car, its one of the few cars that have actually got measureably lighter with each new edition. After almost 20 years of BMW's this latest TT is tempting me away!
Der TT 230PS hört sich echt gut an! Schon fast wie ein S Model, das hat mich beeindruckt!
seems to have at least 50hp more than advertised, even with the long transmission ratios. very nice. and sounds way better than the other 2.0 tfsi cars. shame i dont like the exteriour one bit.
The FWD version has the mechanical LSD or not?

Man I think this is the first video I've found of a 2015 TT TFSI 2.0 MANUAL non-Quattro. This is the car I've recently ordered so really nice to see it in action, as only managed to test drive the Quattro. What are you overall impressions of the car? Pros/cons? Thanks for the great video!

+Barry Smith i have test drove the s tronic gear, it pissed me off in two things about this car, only auto option and fake engine sound!
zakria hamdi Yeah it's a shame they don't provide the manual option outside of Europe! And I know what you mean about the fake engine sound, but it can still sound great pulling out of the lower gears, especially in Dynamic mode :-)
Did you ever have any problems with the non-quattro TT? Like hard understeer or does it perform just fine?

Vilius Abeciūnas Sounds more aggresive and unique than a Golf 7 GTI....an it feels noticeably faster!

Andreas Lie No, still 17 inch winter tires...unfortunately.
Ohh... Thats not safe right? Winter tires have way less grip on tarmac than summer tires have.. Automann-TV
Andreas Lie No, those tires are made for tarmac in specific, just for lower temperatures so they wear out faster. In Germany you drive those tires half of the year.

I have the same car, 6 speed manual but with 19 inch tyres.
What do you think about the engine? I'd like it to have more power over 5500rpm..it's useless going over 6000rpm because the acceleration goes down...

zizou doubleA more fluent and realistic imagery. Make sure to watch in 720p or 1080p 60 and you will see and feel the difference.

+MrProbefahrt Motor ist ja auch noch ganz frisch und meines Erachtens sind die Autos auch noch nicht beim Händler, oder? Ich schaue mal was sich machen lässt.
+Automann-TV Auf mobile habe ich ein paar wenige gesehen... aber alle Richtung Ingolstadt.
Ja wäre cool wenn du einen bekommst. Bin gespannt ob die Entwickler auch so einen ganz netten Sound wie aus den 2.0tfsi sauber können..
Also das Schalten geht besser :) Die Automatik-version schafft in 5.3 sek den sprint auf 100
