here's Dante with a death wish, and I remember a short story with a white scar chaplain braining a terminator veteran with a Crozius for the same sentiment. They even left the armour where it was, but then again, i guess you can't pop a wheelie down the corridors of a spacehulk in full cathedral armour.

The man was fighting horus and the swarmlord at the same time and still couldn't die. As a tyranid player I respect Dante and not salty he slew the swarmlord because he did it toe to... hoof and was having a dementia episode

Khorne loves humans though. They are among the most naturally alligned with khornes sphere of influence.
Overall with all life dead and only a hive mind surviving, it's likely a very bad thing for the chaos gods, who live from emotions.

I remember reading somewhere that Calgar, Logan, and dante, sort of made up this big three in the imperium. Calgar is seen as this brilliant general, whose strategies can claim victory when defeat seemed inevitable. Logan is seen as a sort of folk hero. He'll fight for what's right and the common people, the imperium cold logistics be damned. Meanwhile dante is seen as this sort of invincible super hero. He'll always win, no matter the odds, throwing himself into impossible situations and always coming out on top. Except a lot of Dantes reputation comes from the inquisition creating propaganda, which he isn't too happy about. But he let's it happen, because he thinks that of people thinking he can always save the day brings even a little hope to the people of the imperium, it's worth it.
I like it, a lot of logic to it. Reminds me that it's important to remember that the setting wasn't designed to have primarchs in it really
Read something about Calgary succeeding command to Dande during the Armageddon campaign due to his superior tactical skills. Maybe just blood angel fluff, butt suits well.
@@klasiv strategy and tactics are two separate things. Strategy is large scale (as in big picture), tactics are small scale. So it wouldn't surprise me if dante was better at the tactical aspect.

Dante is very unique for a Space Marine. As like his father Sanguinius, actually cares for the well being of normal humans. Also like his father sees how the microcosm of individual success. Leads to the betterment of the Imperium as a whole. He is the greatest scion of his father who was the greatest of all the Emperors sons.

Hey I have never played the tabletop because I am very poor.
What benefit or drawback does the 25mm base have? I only have experience with minis playing dnd and they just have to fit on my battle map.

I see the relationship between Dante and Primarch Roboute Guilliman as more of a Nephew-Uncle situation. Guilliman loved his brother. He misses him. How could he *NOT* be proud of Dante? The madlad kept it together for over 1500 years of darkness. Guilliman himself remarked that it had "been better to let Horus win". Now imagine he has to look upon his brother's legacy after his sacrifice...

The Blood Angels are personally my favorite space marine chapter & Dante is one of my favorite characters in all of 40K. The dude is just a bad ass & sums up the saying of fear the old man in a profession where the young die often. I mean the galaxy won’t let him die or have a rest though that’s all he wants at this point. Also the fact there’s that old BA legend/story that a warrior in golden armor will defend the golden throne at the end of time & Dante takes that as himself & he just lives with that burden
I like how some space marines and dreadnaughts are wiser, older and more experienced than their primarchs, Bjorn and Dante for example.
Being a demigod aside, sanguinius has nothing on dante.
I'm reminded of that old theory that the nids will become a bigger threat than Chaos, forcing every non nid to work together. But I see Chaos and Imperial forces have already worked together. Kind of.

Dante is an old man who wants to rest and or die so badly that the universe is overly acting against him to this end a literal primarch came back. Abbadon acted like an idiot and yeeted his still fully functioning black stone fortress into a planet causing a warp backlash. Said warp backlash disrupts the nids and opens up a pathway for all manner of warp entity. This opening allows one of the most powerful demons in existence to pop its way into reality and while out like a third of the nids . Dante after being penetrated by a swarm lords sword (it’s bigger than his chest even if it’s just the tip it woukd take out all his organs.) as he is penetrated he is able to use an inferno pistol to one of the shot it . Then after all this his long dead primarch ends up being both fragmented like magnus and being wirshiped into god/demon hood like the emporor is explained to be in godblight. And after all of this dsnte beluves he’s going to finally rest with his father but papa sang came made himself known just to pull off somthing most demon primarch’s have done and bring a dying/dead fallowed who should be 100% un revivable back to life. All this just to tell him no rest for you get back to work. Then the original revived primarch comes to him and tells him “ see everything the light of the emporor isn’t able to touch ….. yea you take care of it , it’s your mess now no brakes but here take a bunch of soldiers who have been tought navigation almost exclusively only with the emperors light, figure something out no rest for you.
Also Would be funny if when they remake Dante they allow him to come back if he rolled a 6 after his epic deed. Ahd it can be progressively stacked if he’s going to die a second time you have to roll 2 6s and so on and so forth to the point you have to use like 20 rolls just to give him that silly just can’t due lord as a rule in a way that really shouldn’t be too strong.
Khorne laid claim to these marines. Honor, blood, war, rage and efficiency.

Well,on the Signus Campaign, Sanguinius banished him into the Immaterium,in the SoT he banished him AGAIN,and in the next book he'll either fight Ka'Bandha AGAIN or Angron or perhaps both at the same time.
The Great rift opened up during the devastation of Baal, and so the khorne demons poured onto Baal secundus (the second moon of Baal) and got to work chomping Tyranids. By the time the dust had settled the demons had disappeared, there was ofc a big pile of skulls and I believe kabandas name spelled out if I remember correctly

It goes back to the horus heresy with the battle in signus prime and the siege of terra where ka'banda got banished both times by sanguinius with the one on the siege him getting the magnus treatment. There's also the whole khorne wanted sanguinius instead of angron but that's just not so clear to me
@@erickcuesta6168 Well the Blood Angels with their Red Thirst and Black Rage where the perfect fit for Khorne. Instead he got the World Eaters which save for the butcher's nails are pretty tame in comparison, plus they are far worse as a whole and Angronn is nowhere near the level of Sanguinius.
