I love making bread. Tonight, I'm making Japanese milk bread which is currently in the oven. While waiting and smelling the baking future deliciousness, I came across this beautiful video. Thanks. I'll try this recipe in a couple days after eating all this loaf I'm waiting for.
Your recipe was the first bread I've ever baked. I’m very pleased with how it turned out, and my family loved it! Making more soon. Thank you for sharing this.
I made this bread and I must say it’s the best recipe ever. I am so pleased with the rising process, I did add some seeds and nuts which gave it a healthy kick. Thanks for sharing your recipe, much appreciated yummy ❤❤❤❤
As a short grain rice eater I never thought too much about bread (and I hate sourdough BTW). I tried your recipe out and it turned out so crispy and chewy! Loving it!
Just ready to put this in the oven now, my dough was much stickier though, I’m new to baking so I tried to add a little more flour, hope it comes out as good as yours. Thank you for helping me to learn. God bless
Nice video! I'm not so interested in the blisters, just want a nice thick crust. Using an enameled 7 quart Dutch oven, should I spray water on dough after in preheated D oven, place 1 Tbsp of water inside then quickly replace lid to bake, or both?
Nice video. I think it's worth mentioning that both you and I replaced the plastic lid handle with a stainless steel handle. The plastic lid handle should not go in an oven.
I’ve found the comma is the same as a decimal point around the rest of the world, or so. It took me a while to realize that. Being an American carpenter since the early seventies, I’ve adopted where it makes sense. When it comes to baking, or any household science or such, I’ve adopted the metric system and prefer it for where I use it. Sticking to the inch and decimal point when it comes to job site and machinist math on the old south bend lathe. I just think it makes me somehow smarter 😊
Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for this recipe. I tried it today for the first time. The dough seemed much drier than your video but it still turned out great 😊

No need. I have try so many ways and there is always a nice crust!
How much is 1,9 cups water? Is the comma supposed to be a dot and if so, How do I measure 1.9 cups of water?
450 mls
@@KT-wr3cvit’s almost 2 cups
Crrrrrrrrrunchyyyyyyyy👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
👌👌👌

Whst plastic lid?
Would the same recipie work but with whole wheat all-purpose flour instead of white bread flour?
Yes, absolutely!
@@Delicious1 great! Thank you!
The most important thing is the protein in the flour, the more, the better!
What should be the quantities for a 7 liter dutch oven?
The same. It will still be the same bread, it doesn`t need to fill the Dutch oven.
Thanks@@Delicious1
Can this be done on top of the stove?
No, it can be done in a campfire, but not a stove!
Yummy
😋
Comma = Decimal point. 450 ml = 1.9 Cups
Mine tasted good but, the bottom was so hard I couldn’t chew it
Strange, hopefully next time will be better. Use flour with high protein inhold!
What does 1,9 cups water mean? 1 cup? 9cups? In between 🤷♂️
Almost 2 cups
add more salt to close up the crumb
I don't understand these measurements
The whole recipe is in the description of the video. What measurements are you using? Imperial or metric? They are both in the description.
Came to say the same. When you say 2,5 to 3 tablespoons do you mean 2.5? As in 2 and a half? You used commas not periods
Yes, 2 and a half. I thought it`s clear, but I will change it in the description! ❤

@@jamiejamerson15 I'm having the same problem understanding the exact measurements, esp the water!
there is nothing like no knead - i don't believe it at all
Well, Try it and you`ll see. It`s even better!
True story, just less holes. Nothing beats kneeding, but still came out nice
