I think Obi-Wan’s intention was to show Anakin that he shouldn’t stoop to the same level as the people who were bullying him. And, being a Jedi, he shouldn’t care what other people thought of him anyways (at least in Obi-Wan’s opinion). It’s one of those take the moral high road situations. But obvs this doesn’t necessarily stop people from bullying you.
When you think about it, it almost certainly was. Anakin was told that he was the chosen one from the day He entered the temple, and then relentlessly bullied by fellow apprentices and chided and belittled by Obi-Wan over the years for how he just wasn’t good enough, and he wasn’t living up to expectations and he needed to be better and he had to be more mindful…… Anakin had a bad case of imposter syndrome, where he was expected to be the savior of the universe, but Obi-Wan would never let him feel like he was doing well enough to meet expectations…… which explains why Anakin tried so damn hard to overachieve all the time

Anakin Grew up with an imposter syndrome, because he was told from day, one that he was supposed to be the chosen one, and Obi-Wan didn’t understand how to turn a nine-year-old into the chosen one without just constantly chiding him, and trying to force him to be better no matter what . The kid went from his mother telling him that his tinkering and fixing broken things around the hut was wonderful, and how great it was when Anakin did something right, to Obi-Wan Kenobi, who probably didn’t tell Annie and he had done anything correctly until about five minutes before he left for the battle with General Grievous.
Love it how half of the time we go to read what Anakin has to say before being cut of, he starts ranting about something unrelated lik Jiz or Wank, I guess - changing subjects.
