@@kashyappatel2011 well that depends completely on the network carrier. Sometimes the network carrier may allow you to pay the full amount and unlock the phone. However, by doing this any discount or trade-in value that you received for your old device that would be removed.
One Question? I'm planning to buy 16 pro in USA (EMI payment), but apparently my friend said that phone will be locked until the full payment is done and can't use it in India as it remains locked, though it is bought in aptronix without any carrier tied. Do I need to unlock it in India? or how does it work?
The only way the device can be logged is if you purchasing it via a network carrier. If you don’t have a network locking your phone, then it should work with any SIM card around the world.
Cellular service charges and phone charges are separate. You have to pay both. Think of phone charges as EMI for your phone. It has nothing to do with the cellular services like data, calling, etc. So if you don’t pay to cellular bill then your calling services will be affected.
I have had positive experience when ordering products from Ebay. They have great customer service. However, I would say a lot depends on the seller you are purchasing from, so check their review and return policy.
Im planning to buy s23 ultra from usa , but worrying abt 5g support in india , most of the people are saying usa unlocked phones doesn't work 5g in india both jio and Airtel because it was regional locked , is that true bro but usa unlocked iphones doesn't have this issue , i am very much interested in buying s23 ultra some help me abt this issue
Well if the phone is truly unlocked then there will be no regional lock. Also a good practice in this confusion would be to check the phone online for the network frequency bands it supports. And then check if the same is supported by your Indian network carrier. But considering this is one of the latest models from Samsung it should work without any issue.
In my opinion, Unlocked is always best. Gives you more freedom. But if you are sure that you wont be switching network carriers, then locked version can save you money.
There's a catch for getting a bigger discount. They DO NOT apply your trade in discount towards your new phone they lock you in for 36 payments and apply your discount to your bill each month, so if you want to upgrade, you have to pay it off. Even though you have the credits. So you would have to pay for att NEXT service to upgrade every year. It's an extra 5 or 10 dollars a month. I'm just going to trade with samsung to get 600 dollars off instead of 1000 dollars off and get free headset and major discounts on other items.

Always go unlocked & pay full price .
You pay anyway just over time with a locked phone
So locked phone is usually sold by the network provider (ie Tmobile), and the unlocked phone is usually sold by the official store (apple store) ?
Yes. But locked phone can also be sold by official store if you want to tie it with a network carrier discount.
@@JustDontRead oooo tyyy
Is unlocked phone new or renewed?
It can be both. If it says in the title as ‘Renewed’ or ‘Refurbished’ then it is used. Otherwise it will be brand new.
How is locked version cheaper? Example, I see at&t charging $999 for iPhone 16 pro if i get a locked phone with their carrier.
Usually a device trade-in is needed to get the best offer. Without a trade-in pricing can be same.
Hey if I purchase the lock phone and I don't like it's service so can I do unlock by paying some money?

but being locked just means that you can not use mobile data right? you can still use the phone even without paying for a service?

It will work normally in all aspect like an unlocked phone expect that you can't change the sim.
