Or we could just leave our phones at home when we go somewhere and live like we did back in the 90s. When someone wanted to call us when we were out of the house, they had to leave a message. And somehow we all survived it.

Because then investigators would be charged with no search they're getting very good info this way and they do not want no one to know in the public

There is absolutely no way you can be completely private living in a modern electronic world. The phones are tracked, computer usage is monitored and tracked, your financial history is tracked, cars are tracked, cameras are everywhere, shops, buses, highstreets, roads, door bells etc. The only way to be completely private is to buy a small holding somewhere in the middle of nowhere and live off-grid. However, I love hot water and hot showers, flushable toilets, gaming, tv and movies, and having fast food delivered to my door, so I guess I'll never be free. I bet even when I'm gone a camera will be watching my grave to make certain I'm not gonna make a bunk for freedom 😆

But while they showed pics of that town, their actual story was about a town in Tenn, w/same name. We started laughing, and my wife asked if I knew where the town was in Tenn. I said yes, about 125 mi SE of Va. town. IMMEDIATELY, GOOGLE Maps automatically came on my phone( phone laying on end table beside me) and gave programmed route from my house to town in Tenn.!! I have come to the conclusion it's simpler to just turn off all choices to a particular app than guessing which ones. In the end, at least with android, if an app needs a permission it will tell me and I click and it takes you to that permission which it needs...thanks guys 😊

The frequency illusion is like when you buy a car new to you, and suddenly those specific vehicles seem to be everywhere. Because before you bought your vehicle, you really didn't care about them but now you do, because your recent familiarity with that vehicle tunes your perception to now be aware of them.

This video made me dizzy. I want to lay down. What happened to phones that could do absolutely nothing but dial the number of someone you wanted to reach? And how do people know that denying a permission isnt really agreeing to even more permissions in the background? How does a person know that denials arent timed and revert to Yeses a few hours later or the next day? Are there any apps available to prevent things like that? How can people fight back against the wave of the force of their use of tracking/spying/ads phones as the required way to do something like pay for goods, enter a building or confirm vax status as opposed to dumping phones altogether?

In my Location section when I went to Google the only options it allowed me to chose were allow or deny. The "allow when using the app" was there, but you could not choose it. It was dimmed out.

Just found out the hard way that some apps will stop working correctly e.g. WhatsApp will not be able to record audio recordings because the sensor is off. So if your apps cannot record your dictation regardless of your permissions setttings, updates and restarting your phone, just turn off your sensor during time of use the turn it back on whe you are done.

There's a way to restrict accelerometer now. You have to go into developer settings. Clicking sensor off. There will be a toggle I'm Your top down settings now. Just click it and it turns off all sensors. Only problem is cameras won't work while it's on.

I feel like I could be a lab rat. TH-cam is my only social media. I have a Facebook page but rarely go to/use it. my phone, on average, is used less than once a day. maybe 3x's a week, often less. I have a laptop for daily casual use. yet I mention one thing in a text (another sparsely used) or on a rare phone conversation - and, in your example, I get Disney ads. However, Disney is a broad well-known brand that could be a coincidence but in my direct experience my interest or mention of something on my (android) phone is very specific and lo and behold - my esoteric comment comes to ads. "they" are absolutely monitoring our tech and it feels very 1984-ish, or Big Brother if you prefer. thanks for the tutorial as this vintage woman is skeptical of carrying around my own spy. I call it my electronic leash. I resent it but a person of today has to have one. they can be handy/useful, but I lived for decades in rural areas w/o them, and it was fine. some of this is crabby old lady stuff but it's still very true.

I've seen a few of your vids, and for privacy very good. For ads....do a video on stopping ads. Route via home firewall and pihole, or use a (vpn) adblock. Even a few adblock apps does not require Root. Ads eat bandwidth, data quota, and even phone processing power. Say NO to ads. Just say no.

I have a Samsung S20+. After their last update (One UI Version 5.0, Andro Ver 13) there is no "PRIVACY TAB anymore. When I made the first change to my phone I went to: Accessibility, App info, Accessibility Permissions. As I was typing this, I went to check the string was correct and "Accessibility Permission TABS WAS GONE." I was messing with the phone for a while and found the permissions are now under: Security and Privacy, Privacy, Permission Manager, and then there is a list of things you can control.

Don't use software updates. Use at home locator. Then your phone becomes like a walking talking under its own frequency. So when they try to track you no matter where you are ,it will be at your home address, your IP. Therefore making you basically invisible. Outside of your home. I have a masters with honors in computer literacy and I program my own phone. I own the same phone after 5 years and no degradation in the system. Battery perfectly fine. If it gets warm put your phone in the freezer for about 5 minutes. Cooling down its radiation signature just like cooling towers work for nuclear power station.
If you go off the road in the snow storm, no one can see you. That's then you turn your locator on, so they can ping where you're at, and help you. Software updates opened your phone to them again.
Don't update. Not even the weather forecast.

The problem I have under apps is when I try to turn off permissions on my Samsung phone is that it doesn't let you turn off things that you don't want them to have. This includes location, microphone and others. So they actively, I'm assuming it's Google, make you give them this information.

Every app you install listens and tracks you and also phishes for phone information. I have an app information blocker, so it prevents all these apps from obtaining information such as the phone I'm using, software, operating system, location, storage, city, country, so on and so forth. It's normally 3rd party companies associated with the app that want the information. I know, I know, I could just deny the app from access, but some apps will not work or work correctly unless you've given them permission. This could also account for battery loss from the amount of information being sent.
One company racked up 3715 attempts in 6 hours trying to obtain information from my phone.
