ahaha thanks so much man! 😊i t's not perfect, but overall i'm happy with how it turned out. good luck with learning the first guitar! i still remember my first time learning it - i think i broke a string while trying to tune my guitar haha!
haha thanks! there's a version of them performing for sure on acoustic and in place of the trumpet, they whistled instead lol. can't take credit for that idea unfortunately hahaha
haha thank you! i wanna tab out a bunch of my arrangements at some point and there's a few people here also asking for a tab for this haha. i'll be sure to let y'all know if i get to it!
so the first half is in 7 (basically just follow the main riff until it repeats, which is where you'll be able to identify where the 1 is). i would say the second half (about 2:36) is in 3 - there isn't really a pattern regarding the groupings of the phrases, so 3 is the highest number where you can count up to consistently and where the phrasing still makes sense. i guess from 3:31 the phrase implies a grouping of 6 instead of 3 but for the sake of continuity, i think still counting to 3 is also fine. also note the tempo change from the second half onwards. hope this helps you (or someone at least 😊) with regards to the tab - perhaps sometime in the future? i'm currently busy with some other music stuff but i guess i'd like to tab out some of my arrangements eventually. no promises though!
@@Potatointhehood LOL the explanation is probably more complicated than it actually is! but yeah, 7/4 then 3/4 should be right. tbh, i would say the specifics of the metres aren't actually that important unless you plan on transcribing the music - as long as you're able to count the phrases you should be set 👍
@@jewn304 hey thanks very much! 😊 i learnt the original song awhile back. i think i just used ultimate guitar then. however for this arrangement, i relied mostly on my ear - basically i just did my best to combine the two guitar parts on one guitar. i guess i could do tabs for this arrangement sometime in the future though.
Kudos, as someone who started making this arrangement a few years ago, this isn't "just a little arrangment". It's hard dude. Figured out basically the exact same as you up until the shift to the "maybe I've been wrong" part. Got kinda burned out on it and stopped. Remembered about it when this video showed up on my feed. Nice work fren, made me happy to see the whole thing completed.
thanks for the kind words friend 😊 this was a task indeed and was ultimately very happy that it came out as well as it did. much respect to you for attempting to arrange this for two guitars well. hoping you can get back to it sometime.
