  • Today we take a look around Samworth Brothers Supply Chain-Oak Meadow, Leicester, Scudamore Rd, Leicester LE3 1UR.
    We walk around the publicly accessible areas and comment on the good and bad points.
    We take the drone around and then the Operations Director comes out for a chat.
    Enjoy!
    Thanks to @Carl & Alison Positive Audio Liverpool who donated the drone music for this video. To listen to the Music & Drone Footage only, see this Playlist - • DJ Audits / D.a.v.i.d....

    Nice guy, relatively reasonable. He mentioned that their company audits the security procedures. Well to that end your job is to audit the auditor, it only makes sense you attend unannounced. Great vid 👍

    When I am in Spain, my brother-in-law is always asking me to fly over properties his company are working on, its nearly every bleedin' day.
    I suggested to him that he learns to fly one and I would buy it but no, he has no need for one. In that case, stop ringing me!!!

    The ops manager initially was a bit off, using that "i'm trying to be reasonable with you" line which means, i'm good, you're bad and this isn't going my way because of you... which is always an amusing way of communicating. Anyway, when you started dropping your findings I felt that all of a sudden he wanted to know more, I felt that he genuinely wants his site slick and oiled and he was interested and will actually follow up on those things. Nice.

    I thought that Paul was rude at the start of the conversation. As you answered his questions we started to see the human side of him. And he managed to turn it around enough to leave a good impression of his company.

    17:50 they must be actively shoe'ing away all birds of prey too, those drivers must have A.D.D. if a tiny object straight above their heads is "distracting" to the point where they kill a pedestrian

      @tangomoggynoengi8518 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If there are drivers getting distracted by a drone, perhaps they should have the drivers attend a further training course; before they drive again... because they appear to be a danger to other users of the Public Highway...!

    Given today's,security lapses, I think the 'unannounced' security tests are being leaked to the contractor 🤔
    Nice guy though that director , I think he will go and research drone laws a bit more , and probably push( incentivise) employees to go electric .
    He did well 👏

    @bikeelectric4821 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    20:30 if you charge at home, it's only like $5/month anyways (compared to $300 in gasoline), "free electric at work" is not really that much of a benefit, more of a convenience - most people only drive 41 miles a day anyways, and charging only takes a few hours
