That was AMAZING!! Thanks for the flight captain!! Truly worth it...wow that was so cool... again thank you...both my son and I enjoyed that virtual flight...
That certainly looks like more than side play in bearings. I’m not a full-size helo pilot, but that looks very similar to tracking issues I’ve had with some classic rc helos. I’d be significantly worried about the airframe loads that vibration is causing. Hope you solve it!
Very cool vid, thanks! The body-cam plus the rollout and pre-flight inspection made me feel like I was there! I've always loved flying and would love to get into something like this, but I'm not sure it's the best place for a novice to start, even after the required training! Haha.
To Cool to see that area from the air.... I grew up here in Marion and have never seen it from the air.... Sounds like a bucket list item... Thanks and be safe....
Thanks for the aerial view, I live on the east side of Belleview, not far from Back Achers Airfield. Only been here about 5 1/2 years but getting to know the area fairly well. I enjoyed you flight.
Thank you. I enjoyed it. Had planned some more for this year but had some engine and control issues to address. Hope to do more in the spring. I'm not familiar with that airfield. I'll have to look it up.
Wow l, what a beautiful, green area that you live in. I live in Northumberland UK and we also have stunning countryside…with a few castle scattered around 😂
this is the closest we have to flying cars. The privacy, the easyness of use etc makes it almost like driving a car, except the price obvioulsy. So cool nonetheless.
It's pretty fatiguing. Plan is to R&R the bearings in the control path during the winter.

Very amazing view, looks easy although I don't know why I think it's very difficult. I have a little doubt, does your hand go numb with so much vibration in the steering lever?
I stumbled upon this video scrolling through TH-cam, wondering if you were the one who flew right over our house, which you were lol. It must be fun up there, Belleview is so much more different in the sky than down below 😂
It is very enjoyable. I'm going to do some other town fly overs next year. I see driving videos through towns and think it would be interesting to see them from the air.
Great flight! Is there a way to git rid of some of that vibration out of the stick..That would drive me nuts!. Perhaps balance the rotors or add a little friction to the stick?..Thanks!
I have balanced the rotors 3 times very small adjustments. I think the stick movement is bearings that I loosened too much on initial install i'm working on those now.
@@FlyNavy blade balance, track and control linkages all work together. If anything is even the slightest out of perfect vibrations such as this are common, however after more fine tuning he will get it resolved, he is definitely on the right track.
Awesome vid building a heli is a dream, i did not watch all 40 mins so im not sure if you said it but how much flight time can u expect on a full tank off gas?
Beautiful home, beautiful aircraft, I admire your success, and I hope to be where you are one day.
Thanks.
@@FlyNavy what do you do for a living?
@@PoodleMaster69 Drug dealer.
Cyclic controls shake a lot. Is that the issue you mentioned in the start of the video? I would think that would make your hand get numb
That is the issue I mentioned. It's not the right frequency to make your hand numb. But it is quite annoying.
Nice helicopter but THAT GRASS! Holy moly.
Bahia grass. It's what's on a lot of the horse farms around here.
Time flies when you’re having fun, you’re having fun while flying. 😁 that was a great flight.
Oh man that was awesome!!! So cool to be able to take off and fly whenever you damn well please (and weather permitting) - great video and sounds!
Thanks. That's why we moved here!
What a stunning piece of kit, love all the clean machined parts…..
The factory has a nice CNC machine to cut the custom stuff.
that is just amazing man. what a cool little bird - you can fly anywhere.
Your living my Dream Man🤙

Nice complete flight video! I am professional airplane pilot but I really love helicopters! Thanks for share with us! Like from Brazil.
Enjoyed your video. Moved to Belleview about 4 months ago. Love it! 301 is probably my favorite route to anywhere.
This is about the only thing I would give up riding motorcycles for if I could afford one

i'd be getting my money back. Look at any other mosquito/helicycle vid, none of them show a cyclic vibrating around all crazy like this.
It's not a money back kind of thing. I built it. And I think I found and repaired the problem.
@@FlyNavy good for you,,how much you have invested in heli
About $75k. $80k if you include the covered trailer to haul it around in.
@@FlyNavy what ended up being the problem?

Nice and awesome. It almost lasted an Hour in the Air.😊
Great video, thank you for letting me fly with you. Best regards from Germany Hamburg👍
Glad you enjoyed it!

Me too!
Excellent flight, thanks for sharing
Bud this is great I love this thing you enjoy your toy I know I would be enjoying it if I was there take care stay safe my friend.
Thanks 👍
That vibrations no joke! That doesnt give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. I hope you figured that out.
Wow, Beautiful Upload friend. keep it up. Thank you for sharing this to us. Greetings from Korea
This has to be the coolest toy ever. Freedom in 3 dimensions, can fly from your yard, and has a turbine engine.
I would agree, but I could be biased. ;)

Amazing video! I was glad to read that you found/resolved the vibration issue! I’m going to start taking lessons when I retire next summer.

Awesome paint job

when pushing the starter I was expecting the sound of a lawnmower, but then this!!! Awesome!
That was one of the smaller reasons I spent the extra $20k for the turbine. I flew miltary my whole career and certainly missed that sound.

Amazing little heli! Love it!!
Inclosed grease works just fine if you have dry ice to quickly cool down the low viscosity of the grease.
Good video! I love helicopters. I live down the road in Crestview. :)
I used to fly to Crestview when I was an instructor in P-cola.

Yep. And the price isn't bad. From about $40k to $80k. So a mid grade sedan to mid grade Corvette.
That was so badass you got it made what a beautiful life
Thanks.
You have very nice flight

Thanks for taking me for a ride. Enjoyed flying and enjoyed the video. You have a nice looking helicopter there. Be safe.

Beautiful helicopter! Is the stick shake normal? I have not spent much time around helicopters.
It's not normal. I've been working on correcting that. Hope to have it fixed by Spring testing.
Very nice trip
Thanks.
Amazing helicopter, incredible what you get out of 12 gallons.
This one also has the 8 gallon aux tank. It burns 11 to 12 gph. So this one can fly about 1.5 hours on both.
Lookin like Tom hanks from saving private Ryan with that hand
on that startup engine and just in my mind The AirWolf Them 💪💪💪
Very nice. Thanks. I like the startup sound also.
Yes please

No it doesn't. Didn't seem to be the correct frequency for that. It's not hard to fly it after you have sufficient training
@@FlyNavy I'm from Venezuela and i'll never fly a thing of that :( hahaha

You should get air bags that are punctured and fire proof within your machine.
Just incase of unexpected potential hazards.

Finally, someone who flys their mosquito more than five feet off the ground. The preflight check should be called the “anything loose?” check.

Might be those crazy long shoe laces causing that feedback 🤔
Came for the heli, stayed for the grass
Very nice.
It looks like a kids toy, cute
Definitely not a kids toy.
You mentioned tightening your belt will it change its size as it heats up in use
It will. But there is a prescribed tension that the belt should be at when cold. And this is a little loose.
Great video man I’m a mech for 60s in the navy rn curious on whether you were a 60s pilot or 53s
Neither. In the late 70s, 80s, and early 90s there was an aircraft called the SH-2F Seasprite. That's what I flew. LAMPS Mk 1
Awesome vid building a heli is a dream, i did not watch all 40 mins so im not sure if you said it but how much flight time can u expect on a full tank off gas?
