i was using gt650 for 3 years and now an adv390 since 3 months and i will say adv 390 is more fun and practical, adv feels more powerfull too when riding, gt shows its power in fuel burning mostly, i was getting +/-20 in non highway commutes, in adv its 30 minimum

Without thinking KTM 390 Adventure is far more superior and has a weight advantage it doesn't heat up and the radiator fans are placed perfectly it doesn't heat up in traffic even. I have ridden both the bikes and the parallel twin in GT is a joke produces only 47 bhp lol for 650cc engine. Royal Enfield's are living in 1960 with their parallel twin producing soo less power and on top of that its over 200 kgs.
I've ridden both the bikes. Both are extremely exciting and throws a smile on your face. However, when the question comes to buying one of these..... well, it's really difficult.😂 The one diff is that the ADV is supremely comfortable for long stretches of highway with higher mileage. So, if you're buying point is for touring, adv makes more sense with practicality. You buy the GT for no other reason that buying a GT itself. That's the only reason.🎉 Thanks.
That comes in for the same price as a duke 390. GT650 is faster than any other bike in the same price range. But only smart people will understand that. A chapri won't.

I have never felt any discomfort while riding my GT for long trips. I have got the alloy wheels and I got 150 section rear and 100 Vredestein in front. I practically sleep on the road while cornering. Nothing beats the rawness of GT.
