Hey guys! Just a heads-up: although a mistake has been made on the Kickstarter website regarding the color option, the colors mentioned in the video are the ones that you'll be able to choose from, which are again: - Anodized Navy Blue (showcased here) - Anodized Black - Anodized Silver - E-Coated Beige
Great video as always! Coming back time and time again for the detailed reviews! The latency results are also really appreciated and something that I keep coming back to Wondering if you'd also be able to review the Wobkey Crush80 some time!
I'm so mad that they released the SK75 first. I'd rather have this one but I already have too many 75% keyboards now! Great review as always. I think it'd be harder for me to resist if there was a purple colorway. As such, the colors don't really do much for me.
Kickstarter is live on this, have my pledge in for the Pro version! Great review as always! It's silly but the fact that I can put a stepped caps lock key is a big deal for me as you can't do that on most of the boards in this price range.
Not silly at all! I have many friends who love and prefer stepped caps lock and even 7u spacebar (which is probably even more rare) when possible. :) (Typing right now on my 7u TB8-TKL haha)
@@thoccnology Mine arrived today in silver and it amazingly nice! Very pleased, wanted to say thanks again for your review as it helped me make my decision to join the KS!
Dont worry too much about it being a KS. The board will probably be in stock later if they get enough hype. The thing is that the budget category of boards is evolving really fast now.
My top budget keyboards picks so far: 1. Bridge75 Plus - $109 2. Womier RD75 Pro - $139 3. Womier SK75 - $109 4. Rainy75 Pro - $139 5. Tide75 - $109 I want to say the Bride75 and RD75 are tied, but I think I should wait for more reviews. What do u think about the other keyboards in the ranking? I’m considering upping the tide75 as epomaker has changed the keycaps to the front. But, so far this is my overall top budget keyboards just without Keychron, Nuphy, and Lofree. I heard about Lofree’s Flow Lite and their Flow V2 recently, can’t wait to see more!
Thank you for your comment and input, I'll include them from now on (I have probably one video that will not include it yet, but after I'll add this info too :))
I’ve been wondering the same thing. I don’t understand why the colors listed on the Kickstarter page for the Pro version are Black, White, Silver, and Cream. I think there might be a mistake, and the "White" option was actually supposed to be "Blue." If you think about it, in the photos we only see Black, Silver, Blue, and Cream-there’s no White in sight. So where’s this White color? Let me know what you think, because I haven’t found anyone else asking the same question that we both have. Thanks!
I wrote the same comment on the Kickstarter page, and I received this response: "Hi there, thanks for pointing this out! The RD75 is available in Anodized Black, Anodized Blue, Anodized Sliver, and Powder Coated Beige. We made a mistake in the description of some rewards by listing White color instead of Anodized Blue. It's not possible to change the description now, so please be aware of this."
Yeah, they made a mistake in the description, but the colors they show (and that I list in this video) are the ones that will be offered as color options, namely: Black, Navy Blue, Silver, Beige - I hope I could help! :)
I finally ordered one (during the black friday sales for 112 usd) I was torn between this and chilkey nd75. I could have bought nd75 locally for 140 usd but decided to get rd75 instead. Did you get a pp plate? I wanted to order one with the keyboard but iso layout wasn't in stock so it didn't make too much sense to but ansi pp plate.
Amazingg review!! I especially like the jean blue colour this comes in! But agree with the other comment too, such a tease to have release the SK75 so close and then this one! 75s really be making us swivel our attention everywhere lately! At this point, I'm keen to wait a bit too hehe. That hidden wireless switch has me pretty divided too. I don't think sacrificing the utility of external buttons is worth the 'cleaner' look. They're always at the back anyway. Plus, I have some issues with my SK65 not recognizing different devices when i'm in wired mode, i always have to unplug it and plug it back in. I wonder if SK75 and RD75 have this issue too.
I'm pretty sure that brands are betting on our fomo feelings while deciding these releases. :') I second your thoughts, having a dedicated mode switch is just much more convenient for multiple reasons - sacrificing this for the minuscule aesthetic advantage (whichis on the backside, as you've pointed out too) is just an absolute bonkers. Oh, thank you for pointing this out, I haven't experienced this phenomenon yet (although I've been using the keeb almost exclusively in BT mode), but I'll use it in wired from now on to see if it happens to me too!
I'm going to skip this one because I can easily foresee the next version fixing the only serious problem - the mode switch under the capslock - while maintaining everything else that's great about this board. I'm confused why they made that decision to put it there when many other budget keyboards already have a dedicated mode switch on the back where it's easily accessible, but not intrusive or visible.
This looks fantastic! I wish it weren't a Kickstarter and I wish it came with a knob. Curious to hear how you like it with your thocky switches! I really like combinations of thocky switches with naturally clacky boards, and clacky switches with naturally thocky boards. But as you say it already sounds good!
I'm so happy they replaced the Mint Blizzard/Rose Whisper switches in this keyboard (they were too loud for my taste). I think I'll pair this one with one of my BSUNs (and maybe a ceramic keycap?) I think it would sound really fun and satisfying ^^
It's a minuscule difference (we are speaking about the 1/1000th of a second), such measurement differences are OK, also different firmwares might result in latency differences too
I wish they had kept the same rounded corners and seam in the middle as the SK75. It is a very nice design. But this one being ball catch and better gaskets, it does seem better! I am quite disappointed with the dumbell gaskets of my Rainy75. They have these appendices that need to go into small holes and aligning gives quite the frustration. I might open it back up and try sticky back poron strip. If it even fits!
Oh, that's an interesting point regarding the design - I wonder if that design would be compatible with the ball-catch opening (lacking space/rim to grab the top case to pull off) Ah yes, the dumbbells are always so damn tricky - especially if they're on the soft side hihi
Hi, could you please tell me - is magnetic connector has own suspension/cushion? I`m asking because I think it could interfere gasket flex of keyboard.
If you're worried about the bouncing of the PCB while typing, it won't disconnect even with the heaviest typing modes :) But that's true, adding extra - especially thick - layers might raise the PCB to heights where it can't 'reach' the case connector properly.
@@thoccnology no, I meant that if connector has no cushion it means that you have stiff connection to bottom case, which interfere gaskets, it basically not allow pcb to flex near connector
@@vladyslavdezhniuk7080 ah, got you! it is not a cushioning under the connector, but it allows a little wobble - regarding the flex it's consistent all over the keyboard (not a noticeable flex though)
Hi! The Monsgeek M1W V3 supports 3-mode connection, if that's preferable to you. The Leobog Hi75 has an extreme amount of thock sound stock. I prefer the Hi75, because of the sound and type feel, but the Monsgeek is very good too, it's safe to choose whichever you prefer more
Been waiting for your review on this, I feel this might be the best budget aluminum yet as it has a better disassembly than the ND75 and more accessible than the Bridge75 I’m sure world peace would be achieved if we got an external on/off switch for wireless though 😅
Oh, I didn't know the Kickstarter is limited in this regard. I hope can offer it as in-stock and then they can add your country (on this note: it might be worth writing them an email to see if they can add your country to the shipping/access list even on Kickstarter)
With the current PCB only ISO Enter can be used, and I'm not aware of ISO-UK PCBs yet, but I think there's a chance for it later (to be offered as an add-on)
Great keyboard! But I also dislike the switch being under capslock or tab, same with the Lucky65, they make alot of those keyboard with hidden switches nowadays. :/
Actually, the batteries are properly and safely covered by multiple layers, so I don't find any issues with this design - maybe only aesthetically during a teardown, but they are inside the case, so no way of seeing it when using the keyboard. :D

Bridge75 seems like a very decent board, so I think it's a very good alternative. If you like/prefer that design, just stick with it - if you prefer this one, get one, and I'm sure you can sell the Bridge75 soon enough. :) This way you can try multiple keyboards for a minimal cost and decide which one you like better.
Do they really need a Kickstart campaign for yet another Chinese alu 75% with flexcut PCB & plate, of which there are dozens and they already made some themselves...? Really? How about they finally offer us non-flexcut options instead? Maybe they finally give up on flexcuts in 5-10 years? Maybe they finally figure out they can put the weight INSIDE, over the batteries, and perhaps their boards won't need all those foams? Also, screw those "early bird" prices, the retail prices are $110 for the cheap and $140 for more expensive version. The cheap one gets better deal on colors but it has a glass "weight", which means no weight. And I'll just say: skip this, save up a little bit more and get a Neo board instead...
I'm also baffled by the Kickstarter solutions - I think it's because they don't want to manufacture a whole bunch of units to offer in the volatile market and risk failing to sell. (That's what proper ICs would be for, tho...) If they do it with a couple of weeks lead-time, I can live with it though. But I agree, that brands should be confident enough to release products that they believe are good quality enough to live on the market on their own. On the other hand, Group-Buys that declare 1+ year waiting times make me straight up mad. Too many unfulfilled GBs we heard of, and that makes it simply unacceptable.
