Yamaha TW200 Swing Arm removal. Rubber Chain guide replacement. 3D Printed replacement part. Part took over 11 hours to print @ 100% infill. File www.thingivers...
@BrianBowden not at all so far. Only thing i noticed is you can hear the chain clatter on it at times if the chain gets too loose. I takes 400 degrees to melt printed PLA so i didnt worry about melting. Go for it!
The original part was made of a hard rubber. The printed part is holding up well. Although it does make some occasional noise from the chain clattering over it. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. Yes, I like the Gold Wing footpegs 🙂
Yea Goldwing pegs much more comfy! Thanks for watching!
I'm about to do this same replacement, so thanks for the video! I'm curious if the PLA melted on you over time.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ain't going to last boss
It's been on there for 7000mi. Surprisingly very little wear. It is sometimes noisy with the chain clattering on the hard plastic.
Very good video!
What kind of material is the original part that you replaced?
