Over the years, I've heard many people have this idea that it is wrong for Christian women to wear pants. They try to put their views onto others and tell them it's wrong for women to wear pants. But what does the bible actually say? It is important that we all study the word for ourselves and understand what scripture means in its context.

Breeches are mentioned 5 times in the OT. If you pull down your pants to relieve yourself you’ll find that your feet are in fact covered. A robe would have to be pulled up. I see lots of issues here but I’m still interested in learning exactly how this applies to women today. Also interested in learning how it applied thousands of years ago when everyone was already wearing essentially the same thing.

I think you are incorrect. The explanation I gave was much better. When they squatted down the hem of their garment covered their feet. I think your explanation is a bit silly. Ask your husband to drop his pants and I bet you it won’t cover his feet. It might cover his ankles but not his feet. Also, the pants the priests were commanded to make to cover their nakedness only covered their thighs, not their whole legs. They were basically underwear.
