It should have been downward facing dog, adhomukhasvanasana. This video has several wrong explanations. Kindly see some other videos. Like Anita Bokepalli's
You can get there by pushing back into child’s pose first, until you build the strength. It's really important to move the energy and lift with your inner locks instead of just arm muscles. You want to lift like someone is behind you lifting your hips. Keep going, it doesn't happen overnight but you should feel it awakening your body. It is so worth the effort! Best to you friend!
Commercial yoga is gymnastics. Real involves nature. Originally we did our ablutions before sunrise. The Surya namaskar was the body's response when experiencing sunrise. It was NOT a POSE !
