NODUS Unity. Should Christopher Ward be worried?

- US microbrand NODUS has launched a due of small watches with big specifications, textured dials that reminiscent of SEIKO and GRAND SEIKO, and complex finishing to rival CHRISTOPHER WARD.

As my introduction to the brand they've made a great impression! Would love to take some of the other new models for a spin too - the Sector Pilot with the black bezel and the Sector Deep look really interesting 👍

Love the dial and the texture to it. Not sold on the bezel insert however!
Love them, stunning dial. I think I'll buy the pink one. I've never had a Nodus before and I like that they dare to use bright colors. I know they’re not for everyone. Sporty, elegant and fun. Nice review.

1st one ive seen of Nodus Simon,alot of micro brands make some excellent watches,I only took real notice of CW watches a few weeks ago and now I love the brand.
That dial is stunning! I do not like the coloured bezel however, props for doing something different but just looks wrong to me! Great video as always mate

I love the colors; I think the pink would look fantastic in the summertime or in sunny locations. I’d have to see the dial finish in person, though. The photos look too much like flesh and kinda freaks me out. Great video. Thanks!

In answer to your question, I would buy one over a CW who, imo, have become just too homagey recently.

Bought my wife a Nodus sector dial, fantastic quality for the price
The dials are epic and it's a big spec list for the money. For now I think CW have greater brand equity but if NODUS keep doing stuff like this they will soon catch up IMO
@@Escapement24 I agree regarding movement, which will obviously result in a price increase, but at least they're trying something a tad different.
I would prefer the pink but in a 39-41
It's cool to see from the comments that there's a lot of love for the pink dial. I think the lighter colour makes the dial texture pop even more.
The only issue I have with these watches is the color matched bezel. I'm not sure I like it. I'm sure it's the light but it just looks a shade darker than the dial and yes I'd wear a pink watch. I have a darker completion so I think it would look good on me.
It might be because the texture of the dial makes it catch the light more than the smooth bezel 🤔
It looks like a copy of the cw c65 light catcher case, but less refined.
Is the pink vibrant in person ?
