We simply love Christopher Ward. Myself and my wife both collect them. I think there are 3 reasons Christopher Ward is so successful. 1 you understand watches 2 you understand people 3 you are all a great bunch of people. Every time we visit HQ we are made to feel as though we are the most important people in the world. Mike even took time out to personally talk to us on one of our visits, not for 2 or 3 minutes for 45 minutes, I can't get to talk to the ceo of the business I have worked for for 35 years. I wish I could work for C/W would be like a dream come true.
Wish I could say the same. I'm happy for you and your wife though. My business partner and myself have been to Christopher Ward HQ a few times, spent quite a bit of money there too. Never left there without making at least one purchase. I myself have six watches and while I like them, I don't wear them nearly as much now. As stated, my business partner and I have been there a few times and on our last visit we both picked out a watch each that was shown to us from a prototype display. I won't name the representative, but we agreed on prices, a rough date they would be ready and was advised to have them looked over by the techs because they were as I said, prototypes. It made sense, so we agreed. Well, after chasing them NUMEROUS times on the phone, we never get a call back. The secretary(s) says she will get the rep who we always see to call us and he never does. It's been almost TEN MONTHS now. If the rep made a mistake, showing us something he wasn't meant to then fine, we're good guys and if he came forward and just told us this, there wouldn't have been an issue at all. But not even a courtesy call? Or even a call back after numerous calls to them? An email? Letter? No, we've had nothing. Come on... CW, doesn't look good.
@@johndoe9627 Hi John I'm really sorry to hear of your experience. We have taken one or two from the prototype tray in the past but always taken them with us. They still have the 60/60 on them so if they go wrong you can send them back. I can't say we have never had a problem but if something does go up the creek it always gets corrected quickly. I hope you will go back to C/W remember we are human and don't always get it right. Good luck
@@MichaelDavis-pq6ei While I totally agree with you on the fact that we're all human, TEN MONTHS?! Thing is, if we went back in person... it would be awkward because the elephant in the room would still be there. "Hi there, remember us? We've been waiting for you to call for nearly a year and even the receptionist wasn't impressed and agreed that this wait is nuts... so, what's going on mate? We've had to drive for an hour just to get a response." Like i said, if our watches have been broken, misplaced, were already reserved or something then that's COOL, we're very reasonable guys, as you said, everyone makes mistakes, no harm done. But half a dozen calls and the rep doesn't even have the professionalism to call us back? That's not good enough in my opinion. Like i said, they're nice watches... but in this instance the customer service has been abysmal.
@@johndoe9627 something seems amiss but like you said, we’re human. Was there an exchange of monies, down payment perhaps? Genuinely hoping you two have gotten insight or resolution by now…
@@2K9s Complete radio silence from Christopher Ward. Granted, we didn't put down any money because we were advised by the rep not too... strange but, he said "let's make sure they are 100% working correctly first.". I love CW and I’ve been fortunate to have had Mike on the podcast 3 times and he’s always been a very down to earth guy. I’m lucky to say that now I’m the proud owner of the new C60 Trident Pro 300 ❤️
Just bought my first CW watch. I've heard nothing but great things from fellow watch enthusiasts. It's very rare for me to like every watch from a particular watch brand, only Tudor has my eye because i like the design of every watch they make. CW is only the 2nd watch brand where i absolutely love every design of their watches. Can't wait until it arrives so I can see for myself.
Never heard a single watch enthusiasts or collector or watchmaker talk a single bad word about Christopher Ward. Bravo gents. Cheers. I would love to work for this company.
I recently visited the showroom in Maidenhead. Declan was my host and I can confirm he makes a good cup of tea! I bought a C65 Malvern Revival Limited Edition 57/250. I love the watch and wear it everyday! I'll be going back to get a C60 Trident Pro 600 asap (Which was the watch I went to buy!?!?) The Christopher Ward watches are beautiful and incredible value for the superb quality. Now the best part of Christopher Ward watches for me! Yes the watch has my name on it at 12 O Clock!?!?!?!?!??!? How cool is that? I've been in Sales for 30 years (Commercial Director for 15 years) and with Christopher Ward watches expansion plans they will need new great people!?!?!? Added to that imagine buying a Christopher Ward watch from Christopher Ward! Lol Mike and Declan get in touch...

I am utterly unimpressed with the time tolerance on my C65 Chronograph. Well built but poor regulation of the ⌚ mechanisms - at least in my experience. It would be interesting to see a greater divergence from Sellita mechanisms toward their own mechanism.
@@MichaelDavis-pq6ei There is NO DOUBT that the ⌚ has a beautiful and thorough build, from the case, crown, screw down pushers to the bracelet and clasp. To the guy talking about power reserve in the video, that's great that you achieved 5 days. However, if the chronometric precision is not there then what's the point? Yes Tudor or Rolex may only offer 70 hours of pr but they keep great time. Sooo.
Ok I been looking for some time now looking for brands and movement and all that And I think this will be my first 1k watch. I been saving for years and I hope I don’t get disappointed.

I was looking for a Tudor Ranger. But their business model of releasing a handful of units a year is ridiculous. I was aware of Christopher Ward because of their Moon Glow I had my eye on. But their Sandhurst in bronze is a Ranger killer. COSC certified, 5 year warranty and build quality to match. Keep it up Team Christopher Ward! I'm getting the Trident C60 next!
