• Closing thoughts:
o On wrist - Perfectly balanced, great thin wear w/handsome proportions
o Model Variants - N/A
o Comparable models - While many brands have been focusing on turning bezel GMT’s, it’s refreshing to see a solid fixed-bezel option being thrown into the mix
o Bottom-line - This collab piece feels truly special, there’s a charm that’s hard to define but easy to appreciate, and I just love that
I'd take this over the blackbay pro any day...What a slick looking piece !
With the measurements & proportions it has, it looks like a very comfortable watch!
This is a hell of a collaboration with both brands bringing the best parts of their personalities and philosophies to the watch. Great design and really well built. The pop of the orange GMT hand is a nice touch, as is the Nodus clasp on the bracelet.
I like it. It has a Sinn military vibe. That's a lot of watch for the price.
very nice.
Your video catches the color tone of this watch better than the others I've seen. I own one and it's a very versatile and good-looking piece. Great review as usual.
Great review! Nodus and Raven have demonstrated interesting creativity with this model - love the unique aesthetics and attributes the watch offers. It should definitely offer some nice versatility to most collections.
You need this watch Marine! 😀
Yo this is nice
I love this thing. I want it so bad.
You think they will actually make this in a NON-DLC satin version?
Not this exact watch, no, but a new Contrail version with a fixed steel bezel, uncoated, yes.
Fun fact, you could also set the GMT hand to Greenwich, London instead of your home time.
😉
My day's of tracking Zulu time are far behind me
@AverageBros I live in the UK so conveniently my home time is set to GMT 😊
Great review of a nice watch, thanks for the upload 🍻
@@rabadabadoo491 Do you not change the clocks to "summer time" there?
@hugejohnson5011 yes, but I leave the gmt hand as it is. So in the winter my gmt and hour hand are the same time. In the summer I move my hour hand forward. But it means if my gmt hand is always set as gmt I can calculate different world times, not that I really need to 😊, its just fun.
All the best 🍻
"First batch is sold out, and orders are being taken for August 2024 shipping".
Translation: The guy gets people to pay up front to fund his watch assembly dream. No thanks.
Nah, not the case at all. They just underestimated the demand for a very niche collaboration and are doing all they can to get products to their customers while demand is at a high.
Preorders actually closed last week for the August ‘24 ETA shipment. I got an order in and really don’t mind the pay & wait structure as a guarantee to get one in the next batch, particularly when considering how fast the first drop sold out.
Sounds like you missed out.
The first batch was already made before they went on sale, so your comment doesn't make any sense. Batch production is how most smaller brands operate nowadays and can be considered the norm.
@@LiamMulholland And, the second batch, for which orders have closed on two weeks ago, and won't be ready until August? Talk about inventory control! No risk to the company doing it that way.
