- Nodus is one of the more illusive brands i reached out to. Finally, we have a piece in the channel to review and i’m glad i finally had to review it!

Forget the watch; this guy has great humor.
one of the best out there
I'm tempted to get this. I've been simping over the Longines Zulu Time and IWC Mark XX in blue. I need a blue dial in my life, and this blue pilot with steel dial would be KILLER for summer and scratch that itch no doubt.
After a long while, you finally review a watch I like! To be fair, though, I expected a more premium finish of the case and black/blue has never been my thing. Solid piece, nonetheless.
I don't think this Nodus does much new, but what it does i think it does well. I'd be interested to see you review their new contrail gmt model.
Nodus quickly took over the .ost real estate in my watch case and has become my favorite brand. The Duality is still my favorite model and I'm eagerly awaiting the 2nd rendition. The Retrospect and Contrail models are also nice. I even got lucky enough to secure one of their Vault releases, a beautiful two tone 1:1 Sector.
Fine review as always. Thanks
Thanks for the review! And duly noted on all notes. In all fairness, I just counted 6 different type faces on the modern Rolex Sub 😅
oh yes. It kills me every time i see the text wall of rolex.
Great review. I might have missed it but what is the msrp on this watch? Looks to be a solid offering with many interesting design details to make it compelling.
Nice vid, great production values, thanks!....(but illusive or elusive?)
damn auto correct. Thanks for paying attention to the description. haha!
Watching with my Nodus Sector field on wrist, great watches!
Looks like a design produced in the same factory as Spinnaker. Very similar design features.
Within reason, as long as a manufacturer or brand can guarantee quality, I don't really care where a thing is made, as long as the ethics are in place
I LOVE IT
It surprisingly manages to look decent as a whole, but mismatchee numeral fonts and multiple sized hour markers are sure to disagree with me in the long run. Once noticed, it sticks, and keeps poking. As for Nodus, there are several of their designs I would prefer. Most recently the new Contrail GMT, the Unity, and Sector Sports. They also have in common that they all fall short of making me eant to shortlist and dive deeper into them. Perhaps Nodus wears its qualities too much on its sleeve and therefore misses out on a more profound connection. That said, it seems they have been improving, even if I don't think this is the best example of that. One certainly could do significantly worse than one of the nicer Nodus watches, but for the same money there tends to be choice that just offers more (one can fill in the more themselves depending on desires).
Would take this review model, with the black DLC coated bezel, or the one with the metal finished bezel?
I actually asked for the metal bezel but this was the one they sent. Metal would be my keeper.
@@DesignAtelier thanks. I have to agree 👍
Is there a link to the website ? I couldn't find it.
If it's a well built watch it doesn't matter where it's assembled to me.

Sorry forgot. Thanks for reminding.

Dude you are hilarious 😂
san martin is fine
I'm not really concerned where a watch is assembled. I generally assume all non-Swiss brands assemble in China. That's just a fact of life in the 21st century. What I do want is that the brand stands behind their product.
The times have handled and ever owned Nodus watches I've enjoyed them. They are a brand doing it right.
Wife? Supporting your watch hobby? Where do you find such women? I'd like one.
welcome back to reality Mr. Zelos
Disappointed that Nodus didn't have a presence at the San Francisco WindUp event. Have yet to see one in person... 😣
We were there to hang out, just didn't have a booth. Scheduling conflict, as well as turning our focus to Intersect. Hope you had a great time though!
@@noduswatches5980 Thanks for the reply. Hope to see you guys at an event soon!
No it doesnt matter where its assembled at all. It matters only about the product itself, anywhere in the world inc china can make high end and low end watches. You want it regulated then pay for that and it will be done, no real special skills needed its just a process. Its not like curving a custom hair spring.
inches !!!? the whole world uses mm's when talking watches
Of course I care where my watch is assembled.
China is good. Japan gonna be better. US? Definitely no.
