One thing you can do is Quote a little higher price, than find someone that will do it for you cheaper. Your the middle person. I use to buy products from Amazon, eBay and other places and sell them via Craigslist. I see people doing this too. They bid first on eBay and sell it back as soon as they buy it. Saw a lady buy a nice bike for like $10. on facebook, and sell it minutes later for $100.

Fiverr sucked in my case. It took me 3 months to get my first offer (Even using keywords, marketing through medium, discord, etc.). I worked my ass off for this complex website and delivered 1 day. The client canceled, fiverr paid them, and I wasted a week of my time and didn't get any answer from them...

I know that you are a real programmer and using pygames to improve your python is part of the deal... but man, for time and quality, these games would be so fast and easy to make in Unity.

But if you are making a real game for the marketplace, or multiple games, then unity (or unreal) are vital. There is no reason to reinvent the wheel with physics and lighting(shading). The game engines have been improving their product for many decades so you aren't going to beat them by building an ending yourself.
Or show some of your impressive projects on the page. I'm actually considering Fivver as a supplemental income. I think my page will look attractive enough from my past projects 😅.

I always like to see someone mention aspects like "this isn't going to happen overnight". What are the downsides? EVERYTHING has them. Everyone talks about how simple it is start, but not the time required to be lucrative? I am looking into side gigs to help carry me over during a layoff, at least for now. I always like to see someone mention aspects like "this isn't going to happen overnight". What are the downsides? EVERYTHING has them. Everyone talks about how simple it is start, but not the time required to be lucrative? I am looking into side gigs to help carry me over during a layoff, at least for now. Waiting months to earn anything lucrative is not helpful for me. I may no longer need or want to freelance months down the road. I'm researching my options.
