Well, everything surely takes time. I started building PC in 2014 with a sub $300 build. ASRock H81M-HDS, Intel Pentium G3220, 4GB DDR3, 1TB of HDD, Amacrox Warrior 550W PSU, and an old ATX case from my dad's old Athlon XP build. Of course it's been upgraded for every several years, but it's not that much. 9 years later, in 2022 (until now) I ended up in my current 7.5l mini ITX build with a B660M ITX, i3 12100f, 16GB DDR4 (as of now upgraded to 32GB), 3060 Ti, 2x512GB of SSDs, Cooler Master V650 SFX Gold, and 7.5l PCCooler i100 case.
Hopefully you'll start your PC building journey soon, and will surely enjoy the journey!

I love this case! My PC uses a H1 gen1 (with a fixed riser card). I love how tall it is, making the footprint so small I can actually keep it on my desk. To keep it cool and silent, I added two tiny fans in the back to help exhaust hot air from the GPU side, replaced the glass front panel with a meshed one, and when the included water AIO started gunking up I replaced it with an air cooler which is actually quieter and more efficient than the included water AIO.

In this price class, rtx is pretty meaningless (Despite being in 4th rtx generation now, Nvidia refuses to offer any good value mainstream budget cards with enough RTX umph) so I'd rather go with a used or new 6700xt and its good for even 1440p in many games or even a nice 30 - 60 fps 4k experience on the couch with TV and a controller.
Or the 7600 is a good budget option if you will only buy new and will stick to 1080p but that also has only 8gb so 6700xt is a much better option with 12gb's of ram.

A grand for a 4060 rig is a bit whack. You'd get more bang for the buck if you went with a lower end chipset DDR4 motherboard. Most people don't even need 32GB, especially if they're already running a mid tier system. Put the savings from the RAM and mobo towards a higher end graphics card, if this is intended for gaming or get a better CPU for productivity.

Hello I’m about a minute in and I already have a question. You said to get a CPU without built-in graphics I saw another channel that said you should always get the CPU that have the built-in graphics so I’m not sure which way to go. I understand that you have a dedicated graphics card, but this other channel the guy was saying that the other ones will just run better and why not the prices isn’t that much more. Maybe that something you could address in the future video. Thank you great production quality on these videos really entertaining and the bills are really cool, I’m a Mack guy and still thinking about getting a PC. My current PC is over 20 years old and although it still works it’s so slow it really doesn’t work. I’m interested in getting flight Sim 2020 as I’m a pilot so I’m trying to figure out what kind of PC I need to play that effectively in the future proof it.

I think a 1080p build at this price is a bit of a waste. I built in the NZXT H1 three years ago and paid around the same price for a 1440p build, three years earlier. I had a 3070 which ate half of the budget, added a R5 3600 for €150 which never bottlenecked anywhere except in Cyberpunk. The GPU is doing more work than the CPU anyway if you play at 1440p or higher. The CPU you used is plenty strong and albeit not too expensive, I'd still go for a way better GPU instead if you want to have a gaming build. I since upgraded to a 3070 Ti at no cost when it came out because people paid me the same price for my used 3070... even the 3060Ti is still better than the 4060

Better buy a simple case like the Phanteks G300A or Phanteks Evolv ITX [of you want a small PC] The stock cooler is sufficient for the i5 13400.

Think I got ya beat on 1k build, made this for my girl recently. 6800non xt & 5600X3D also in the H1V2. Best 1k build imo tho is 6800xt with 5600😮‍💨

What a dog crap nvidia intel sff build looks like. 6700xt and either a cheap am4 or even am5 cpu now prices have come down. Poor choice of hardware. A xbox or PS could rival this for half the price lol

Please don't buy a 4060... So many better options. 1080p gaming is being replaced by 1440p. Id hope the only reason he used it because it was giving to advertise. This is coming from someone that has had Nvidia for 10 years.
