      In fact this is a slower version of what next consoles will become. And it's inspiring. 2028 consoles most likely will be built on RDNA 5 and Zen 6 with 2 nm process. All of these products are planned on 2026-27

    • @lukaszgapinski6452
      @lukaszgapinski6452 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      It doesnt matter what consoles are gonna be in future if developers will keep releasing unoptimized games such as gotham knights. Also pc areny going to stand in one place so keep that in mind

    • @ThereIsOnlyOneRandom
      @ThereIsOnlyOneRandom ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ek2who source or GTFO, looks like you have no idea what you talking about, new process? Let's say consoles can use latest RDNA technology, but for what costs? Sony and M$ they always taking what is affordable, to be said never latest processing, from year's they stuck on few years old nm processing as it's always adorable, and engineering dude knows how much he can push outdated components, ps5 and Xbox SX are made on RDNA2 custom chips where soon we have RDNA4, if AMD will made RDNA8 to 2028 then yes we may see 4-5 on new consoles, they should focus more on CPU with new generation as the ram which they using rn will be fine for next 7 years alongside storage speeds, so next console should have better CPU and GPU and double the amount of RAM and that's it, affordable as they like, I would expect something at mid range pc, as upcoming ps5 pro will be still much slower than an RTX3090, leak's suggest 24Tf, and RTX has 30tf, so the power of ps5 is basically 4060, and CPU will be the same as it is with 10% boost in clock speed which is still too low to make BG3 run at stable 60fps, now CPU is needed as developers won't give a F with optimization as people are buying games anyway so they don't care, you want flawless FPS then get best components.

      Corsair strangely lists the max CPU cooler support as 90mm on their website. even with a 360mm AIO and standard thickness fans you'd still have 115mm. idk how they got to this number. -- I posted this before i got to that point in the video lmao. didn't notice Devyn also said that

    Great build and great points at the end. Really hope Corsair will launch a V2 ASAP with a top fan, properly routed PSU cable and 25mm fan support for the front.
    A lot of stuff just seems like an afterthought on this case, although the aesthetic is amazing.

      I have made a Thermaltake tower 200 build with the matx, 4090 and ASSASSIN III from DeepCool. All hot air goes from top and all the connections are on the top side, so maybe their design is better one than we have seen from Corsair in this video

    • @kevinm8715
      @kevinm8715 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The things that you want in this case were in the original design. Look at the Origin PC Chronos prebuilts, they show what the original configuration is. You can also see it in a JayzTwoCents video (the title was something about an SFF case that fits a 360mm AIO). But Corsair cound out that hanging the GPU from the top like that would lead to issues with the vapor chambers of some GPUs not working, so at the last minute they flipped the design upside down. Now most of the complaint points (bottom exhaust instead of top, strange PSU and cable routing, GPU pulling air in from the rear) are because they are the reverse of what was originally intended. There does need to be a V2 of this case because as they sell it now they don't make a great use of all of that volume.

    Nice video, but I have a constructive criticism to share: Since its a case overview and building video, temperatures and noise are more relevant than gpu+cpu performance when playing a game. I know you put temps in the overlays during gameplay, but I'm more interested in whole system noise and temperature while on load. We all know 7800x3d and 4080 perform well together. So, maybe include other temp sensors in your "case benchmark".

    So I just bought this case as it was on sale for under 60 bucks. I like the idea of using air cooling, was thinking of using a Mugan 5 or Fuma 3 (as I already own both) which would allow the side bracket to be used for at least 1 fan at the top or possibly the middle one. Might even go shorter to allow slim fans on the side. This route seemed to help with the heat issues with a none founders addition GPU (have a Sapphire 7900xt or EVGA 3080 depending on how well this cools the GPU). I know this is really old video, but did you test that system with a non founders edition to see how much worse it cooled if at all?

    Hallo! I am about to assemble more or less the same computer and I am debating so much about air cooler or AIO cooler. As an engineer, but no sw engineer, I really don't understand how reducing so much the volume for the air to move and so cool things down, can be a good choice compared to AIO coolers. It's true I have the AMD 7900 with B650I Ultra which has some issues of compatibility with several really good AIO coolers. I don't know, you are the second one happy with air cooler and maybe I should just go for it. Also, I will travel around with the PC, so that is also the other reason why... maybe AIO. Another question, is the fan hub the only way to connect them together? and can you advice another Noctua 25mm cause the one you choose is not available for a while in Germany. Thanks

  • @dizzzave357
    @dizzzave357 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I would say that as released the case is a 8/10 and if they make a few tweaks it could really be a 10/10 case.
    #1. Fit 25mm thick fans in the front. There is nobody buying this case who wants to trade normal sized fans for the case being a tiny bit shorter front to back. 15mm slim fans are much more limited in options, both from Corsair and 3rd parties.
    #2. Run the power cable internally. There is more than enough space for it and the velcroed cable on the back looks incredibly cheap and poorly designed.
    #3. Add a second USB-C to the front panel. The I/O on this case is incredibly difficult to access so having more front connections is essential. There is plenty of space for an additional USB port.

    Do you think a AK6220 could fit? Maybe if we put off one of the 2 fans?

    hmm, wondering if this would be a good idea for my 7950X3D or if my temps would be bad. I have been thinking of going smaller. How are your temps at load?

    Great build why did you not use the secondary fan for the cpu cooler? Does it fit?

    I wonder if it is better to let ITX sit horizontally in the bottom of vertical cage. PSU and GPU grab air from outside cage. all hot air go from bottom to top.

    I'm really keen to hear opinions on this case versus the Hyte Revolt 3 for full air cooling :
    - on paper both seem designed for AIO water cooling (and it seems many Revolt 3 reviews don't think air cooling in it is a good idea)
    - but because of the classic layout, both cases can sacrifice radiator space to use tower cpu coolers, which simply cannot be done in other vertical cases which are pretty much all sandwich layout
    - for eg, cpu air cooling in a Jonsbo VR3 or Meshroom S requires a ~70mm cpu cooler and the radiator space is wasted, even with case fans
    - furthermore, it seems that there aren't any other widely available vertical SFF cases which accomodate tower CPU coolers
    - it seems there is a lot of criticism of the 2000d for overall size and lack of space efficiency
    - so isn't the Revolt 3 a "better" 2000D for full air cooling in the sense that it is smaller while still accomodating tower CPU coolers?
    - or is this just an "on paper" comparison that fails to take into account real life factors (such as layout and airflow paths)
