This is a Very beautiful Sanskrit composition...
It was first sung in front of lord Jagannath in 12th century by Odia Poet Jayadeva..the whole town of Puri thrilled with these beautiful lines...
Later he named his whole composition as "Gita Govinda" and spread it to the whole country...
Lord Jagnnath , Who Controls the entire Omniverse...listens the Geeta Govinda every night before the closing of temple gates..infact..a part of the verse was written by the lord himself...

I am highly glad to have it. My friend Dr. Bipin Bihari Satapathi of Cuttack, Odisha has sent it to me on 8th June,2020 morning. I become highly glad and forwarded to 10 friends, immediately. Right now also I am listening it.
I heard this song long back in 1994 during the All India Oriental Conference, for the first time played by recording. I could not collected.
Thereafter, for second time I had listened it sung by Sri Bibhu Ranjan Choudhury, an artist of Guwahati, sung at a function held at Tinsukia,, Assam on Vedic Sammelan in 1994, perhaps in Nov, 1994.
So after a long duration of about 25 years and six months I am listening it. Of course I enjoyed Jayadeva Samaroha in 2011 at Jayadevas birth place, organised by Dr.. Sadananda Dikshita, Lokabhasha Prachara Samiti. But I could not recollect regarding this song.
I Hail from a Vaisnava family of Damodara Deva's line.

సుశీలమ్మ and సునీత గారు పాడిన సందర్భం వేరు.. ofcourse Professional singers అంటే ఏ సంద్భంలోనైనా మంచిగా పాడాలి..
సుశీలమ్మ పాట వింటుంటే మనకు తెనాలి రామకృష్ణ సినిమా & మన పాత రోజులు గుర్తుకు వస్తాయి.. బాగా ఎమోషన్ అయిపోతాం.. అదే సునీత గారి పాట వింటుంటే పాడుతా తియ్యగా స్టేజ్ గుర్తుకు వస్తుంది.. అందుకే ఎమోషన్ వుండదు.. but సునీత గారు కూడా చాలా చక్కగా పాడారు..
ఏమైనా ఈ పాట తెలుగు సినిమా లో వుండటం మన అదృష్ఠం.. 🙏🙏🙏

Is it really true I am the millionth viewer of this wonderful video? I believe that is a divine symbol. I have left the song ever since 2010. When I heard Pooja singing It on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa… That is the one older performance that is not available anywhere online from the time of that show. Her version is grand and glorious but I really like the relaxed meditative feeling of this one madam…Thank you so much
